31. Cat's out of the bag

Ast took Anya some distance away from the smoke, checked if she was okay. She told him she is fine and it had only been 5 mins when they started chasing after her. She also said sorry for not being cautious enough.

Ast smiled and said it's fine. Ast looked towards the pair coming out of the smoke. Ray fed Tim some antidote and also took some.

"Tim what is the meaning of this?" Ast asked him with a stern look on his face. "Hehe, looks like you were really pretending all this time huh...., well my dear brother you have become an eyesore so without any delay let me introduce you to the level 5 elementalist Ray, whom you know as the head buttler and the person who is going to end your miserable life" Tim replied mockingly.

"oh is that so. Nice to meet you Ray but are you sure you can use all your powers. Cause you see, Ray here seems a bit weak to me" Ast was trying to probe Ray's power so as to know, whether to run or to fight.

Hearing Ast Ray was furious he now know that his condition has something to do with Ast. But Ast answer surprised Tim and he looked cautiously towards Ray.

Ray felt Tim gaze and replied that right now he was only able to use power upto level 2 and told that it was possible that Ast had somehow poisoned him.

" Hmm.. Well my brother you are indeed cunning but don't worry a level 2 elementalist will still overpower you and Anya" As soon as Tim spoke he gave a signal to Ray to finish his two siblings.

Ast also whispered something in Anya's ear and again used a smoke bomb. In the midst of smoke both of them took out their artifacts, because they knew they were weak against a level 2 elementalist who had experience of a level 5 and most importantly Ast didn't knew if Ray could use any attack that might jump levels. So the element of surprise was the best way to go.

Anya circulated lightening within her and rushed towards Tim. To immobilise him, as they didn't knew if Tim had any artifact that could contact someone or harm them. So it was best to take him out of the equation.

This sudden move surprised Ray, although he was prepared for the smoke bomb Anya's speed was something he didn't account for. But before he could go to save Tim, he saw several wind blades coming towards him.

Ray parried all but one wind blade struck his leg. 'They must be using some sort of artifact, that is how they were able to escape before as well. But how many and how did they got so many artifacts' Ray thought to himself.

Ray saw Ast running towards him at huge speed but Ray himself being a wind elementalist, know for their speed he knew he could easily counter Ast move so increased his speed and moved towards Ast as well.

Ray's plan was to quickly kill Ast and then save Tim, if he at all needed saving cause he knew that Tim had some life saving artifacts as well. Ray saw Ast was moving quickly with daggers in his hand.
