Elemental Cats

A universe of elemental magic and beasts. Toz is born with the power to acquire the same element as a cat he establishes a bond with. The story begins with Toz setting out for adventure and exploration with his first two cats, Nil and Lucy. And then stuff happens. *** Disclaimers: MC is pretty nonchalant about people he doesn't know. Close to being coldhearted but not a complete psychopath. The main story only acts in the background in the beginning and isn't even mentioned in the synopsis, but it plays a major role later on. Kind of. A bunch of chapters at the beginning of the novel are pretty rough, but it gets better.

Phase Three

After everyone whose assistance wasn't needed for phase three was cleared out of the circular area and had moved a great distance away from the entire wasteland, it was time for the part of the plan some of the crazier types in the camp were looking forward to most. The first two phases were pretty inconspicuous in comparison to the third phase. Especially since the amount of explosive and volatile materials for the first round is more guesswork and based on the explosion will be increased, or decreased next time.

But there was a general consensus at the planning table that it's better to use too much than too little, and really make sure the rats get sent flying to and past the afterlife. And it's during the third phase the ridiculous amount of explosives are ignited. Compared to the first two phases it's going to be a lot more action.
