I suddenly opened my eyes and stood upright and looked around myself warily being within a forest.

???: Hmm....W-where am I...?

I tried to remember what happened to me but before I could even try I raised both of my arms and held my head in pain and fell onto my knees.

???: AARRGHH!!!

I screamed in pain while new memories started coming into my brain and with it a voice that I faintly heard throughout the immense pain that I am going through.

[Host!]

I gripped my head tighter now reviewing memories from someone else whom I don't recognize but I instinctively know who that is.

After a couple of painful minutes later the new memories had stopped but it had left me in a ragged state breathing harshly. It was also at this moment when I heard the same voice again but this time more clearly.

[Host wake up!]

???: W-who..are..you the one..who *huff*... fucking...did that shit...!

[No Host! It's just previous memories of this body you have taken over that are being integrated onto yours]

???: Wh- No...No..no..How did I...end up...here and what the hell are you...?

[You died in a fire shortly after beating the Elden Beast in Elden Ring with you fully committed to explore the game where you gained almost all the items and became the Elden Lord to the Lands Between. After your death in a burning blaze you were qualified to to gain the System of Elden Ring as your reward]

???: So you set my Damm apartments in fire...

[It was for the greater good and your soul itself fits perfectly with the system]

???: Well fuck you! What the hell am I suppose to do now since I have nowhere to belong to!

[Don't worry Host, the system is here to help you with anything you need but your path will be gruesome and challenging full of death]

???: Fine, then what the hell will you do to fix the mess I am in...?

[Well first, say Status in your mind and a screen will appear showing you your character status and a shortly after you will be shown what class to pick]

???:...Fine, Might as well go the same route I went as last time.

I did as the voice said and said "Status" in which a screen similar to Elden Ring appeared. Thought it would be kinda different than the original version but I guess it doesn't matter.

Soon after my character status was shown In which I saw all of my attributes all equal with 10 points in each attribute another screen popped up and then it showed me all available 5 Classes but I chose the Samurai class.

Along with my class was my name and I had stopped a moment before making a new name I would live as for now.

[What would host like to name himself]

???: My new name will be Yggdrasil...

[Host name has been permanently been changed to Yggdrasil]

Would host like to start hunting for runes now to level up?]

I raised my arms and saw Red Land of reeds Samurai armor slowly form around my body with a katana forming on my waist, held by a red belt of some kind around my hips.

(Samurai belt, otherwise known as Uwa-obi which held a samurais weapons)

I felt my Longbow also appear on my back with it weighing around 4 pounds or a weight value of 4 which with the armor would weight me down more but I have to deal with it.

The armor felt nothing with what I expected but rather light with a scarlet color and for some reason made me feel exited.

Yggdrasil: Also what do you mean by If I want to start the hunt...?

[Exactly what it entails Host, hunting monsters or creatures that will give you souls for you to level up and when you have enough runes you can summon enemies you have killed and have their entire loyalty towards you as you have proven yourself]

Yggdrasil: Is that so, hmm....Then I guess we can go and start "Hunting" as you say. But what exactly?

[Would Host like to fight Elden Ring Enemies and fight them to gain their runes and summon them?]

Yggdrasil: Sure, but I do wonder how you will do this summon thing.

[Don't worry about how it works host! Just let the system do it's job and you shall see. But I do warn the host to prepare himself for a bad time]

Yggdrasil: Wh-

Before I could finish what I wanted to say, my surroundings shattered like a glass and soon everything faded to black.

5 minutes later

I slowly opened my eyes and looked around myself and saw everything is different from the lush forest I was previously in to a massive dark, and gloomy coliseum.

I looked at the person standing in front of me whom looked similar to the Godrick Soldier. He had the Full Godrick soldier Set, a Brass shield, and Lordsworn's Straight Sword.

Yggdrasil: Hey System? What the hell am I suppose to do now...?

[Host is advised to fight the Field Boss Soldier of Godrick to learn how to move around the host's opponent and strike him similar to a tutorial]

Yggdrasil: Thank you... Let's see if I can go through this....

I gripped the hilt of my Uchigatana with my right hand and slowly brought it out before bringing my Uchigatana up to my chest.

The Soldier of Godrick got in a defensive stance with his shield in front of him and his Longsword on his right hand.

Hopefully I don't fuck it up and can defeat it quickly. If I can't I will be here tiring myself out, because I have just started my stamina is low and can only strike a few times before rolling back if it even works.

I take a deep breath before slowly moving forwards to the soldier who also started to move slowly. When we were in reach of one another the Godrick Soldier stepped forwards and swung his Longsword horizontally.

I went with my instinct and rolled to the left going under swing before I thrusted my katana into the soldiers undefended right side that showed it's armor.

It was also at this time where I saw the red health bar all enemies in Elden Ring have above their heads. But I didn't have enough time to keep looking at the health bar as he charged at me with his shield.

I rolled backwards avoiding the shield bash and quickly he did a diagonal slash that was close to hitting my chest. I quickly got up before rolling to the left avoiding a vertical swing and roll to the right somehow not getting hit by the upward Swing he did.

Unfortunately before I even had a second to calm myself he quickly brought back his longsword before swinging it In a wide arc while he charged forwards making me get hit with the Shield and then I felt my mind pause before making me stop thinking as the pain struck me all at once.

Yggdrasil: ARGGHH!!!!

I was sent flying with my body badly bleeding and immense pain spreading all over my body before tumbling over the stone hard floor.

I laid there for what appeared to be minutes but thought about what just happened and slowly turned my head to the side seeing the Soldier of Godrick approaching me.

I kept breathing hard and slowly grabbed my Katana and gripped it tightly before trying to get up but I fell down once again. I held my katana before using it as a cane to get up which I slowly did and looked at the approaching soldier.

I breathed in and out before focusing myself and slowly walking towards the soldier. Once we were nearly 5 meters apart he charged at me using his shield and sword swinging in a wide arc.

I rushed toward the sword swing before rolling forwards barely avoiding the swing but with that roll I slashed the soldiers back with the sharp edge of my blade and then swiftly swung the Uchigatana horizontally slashing his back that made him stagger and fall to his knees.

Swiftly using this chance I stabbed my sword through his chest and pulled it back and then moved back as the Godrick Soldier fell forward and soon turned into black mist.

It was also at this time that I fell backwards almost blacked out when I saw a screen pop up on my right showing what I got from killing the Soldier of Godrick.

[Alright Host, System advices host to drink a flask of Crimson Tears before sleeping]

I heard the system say to use the Flasks of Crimson Tears which appeared out of thin air and I didn't think about before drinking the flask and then I blacked out.

Once I fell asleep everything went black and if I was awake longer I would have seen a woman who appeared beside me and take off my Helm.

???: Sleep well my beloved...

[Creator! What would you order me to do?

???: Nothing as of yet...All I want is for my beloved to come back to me and for him to embrace the new memories he shall have on his long hardous journey....

???: Please take care of him and don't let him become reckless...

[Yes Creator!]

???: Goodbye for now beloved....

5 hours later

[Host wake up! All your vitals are fine and don't need healing, so will the host like to continue fighting or go back...?]

Yggdrasil: I felt intense pain while fighting, how the fuck do you expect me to continue fighting these humanoid enemies!?!?

[Host will continue growing stronger and able to defeat more enemies than before along with getting amazing weaponry and armor. You can also use The Flasks of Crimson Tears that stop the feeling of pain and heal up your wounds]

I stopped complaining before sighing and remember that everything is real along with huge amount of pain I felt. I don't want to feel it again but with how tricky bosses and enemies are it is impossible to not be hurt.

Yggdrasil: Then let's test my limit before I go and heal myself using a flask. Also was that a Godrick Soldier or the Soldier of Godrick that I fought?

[It was the Soldier of Godrick as your instructor you had to face. So what type of enemy would you like to face right now?]

Yggdrasil: Godrick Soldier's please. Let me go against 3 of them.

[Coming right up]

Yggdrasil: WAIT!!! WAIT!!! LET ME RECUPERATE!!

I said "Status" once again and looked at the large screen before going through the tabs at the top of the screen and picked the Lordsworn's Straight Sword and equipped it.

Once I equipped It I took a deep breath before telling the system to summon the Godrick Soldier's.

[Summoning Godrick Soldier's]

Three black mists came out of nowhere before three Godrick Soldier's started to appear from the mist and soon after they unsheathed their weapons before charging towards me quickly.

I gripped the Lordsworn's Straight Sword tightly and decid d to charge forwards as well preparing to do a heavy swing or slash.

Whit the distance between us closing I stopped myself before swinging the Lordsworn's Straight Sword horizontally in a wide arc slashing the torso of all 3 Godrick Soldier's who where sent flying with a bloody body.

Once they were sent flying I chased after them before swinging the Straight sword downwards splitting the head of the Godrick Soldier killing him instantly as he turned into a white mist.

I rolled backwards avoiding the overhead strikes that the two injured soldiers tried to kill me with. I mustered up strength before swing the Straight Sword fully killing them both finishing up the fight.

[Would host like to keep fighting the Godrick soldiers or switch it with different enemies?]

Yggdrasil: After another wave of Godrick Soldiers I will switch it to the Troll enemies.

Yggdrasil: Yes, up to 5 please and I want to test the Longbow.

[Understood]

In front of me mist appeared out of thin air along with 5 more armored soldiers of Godrick. But this time 2 of them have shields and the rest have swords.

I sheate my Uchigatana and grab the bow from my back and take out an arrow from the quiver on my hip. Similar to the game it zooms in, as I pull the bowstring with an arrow drawn I aim at the shieldless soldiers and let go of the string performing a powered shot.

It quickly struck the soldier in it's chest and made him stagger. I quickly draw back another arrow and take aim before pulling back the bowstring and aiming it at another soldier and let go as it quickly hits the soldier staggering him.

Seeing the nearing Godrick Soldier made me put my Longbow on my back and switch to my Uchigatana. I watched the soldier Swing his sword downwards but I roll to the left and slash at his left side and swiftly slash once again before retreating.

Three consecutive attacks struck the place I was after rolling backwards. The two shield Soldiers had come close and struck along with the first soldier I hit with the arrow with his Health bar being very low.

I start moving around the place and slowly going backwards until I went far enough to the point that I could fire my bow again which I did. I switched my katana for my Longbow and took a flaming arrow from the quiver and pulled the bowstring before aiming at the charging soldiers.

I aimed for the one that was almost dead and shot the fire arrow that hit the torso and flames spread from the torso burning it doing 180 damage in total with the bow itself and the fire effect.

The soldier turned to dust and disappeared, I took another fire arrow and quickly aimed before releasing the bowstring as it hit another low health soldier who turned into flames before it fell down and turned into ash.

I switched back to my Uchigatana and rolled to the right dodging a horizontal sword slash and then to the right avoiding the other shielded soldier Swing.

As fate would have it the extra soldier had hidden itself behind the shielded soldier which made me get hit with the Straight Sword. It cut off my right arm right off making me gnash my teeth harshly and scream inside my head as I was pushed to the ground diagonally by the sword slash.

I rolled backwards and started moving around while slowly breathing harder than before as I started to remember to equip my other weapon on my left hand even with it weighing down on me even more than before.

I looked at the charging Godrick soldiers before I started to get up and then start running towards them and right when all three soldiers were about to slash at me with their swords I stopped abruptly then grit my teeth once more as I swung the Lordsworn's Straight Sword straight at their heads.

With the shielded soldiers having lowered their swords to attack me I struck them straight in their heads. I grabbed the Lordsworn's Straight Sword with an iron grip and spun myself around to have enough force to hit them one last time.

With the last hit all three of them fell to the ground and shortly turned into a dark mist. Once they disappeared I took out a Flask of Crimson Tears which even worked with healing chopped off limbs.

Yggdrasil: God..Damm...it....Never knew the fucking pain that would occur...when a limb is chopped off...from my body....

I looked at the screen that popped in front of me and saw the notifications on what I got again similar to before but with it saying "3 New Features" making me curious about it but I am kinda tired with pain being in my mind and a headache of me getting the elden Ring system making me fall asleep with everything on my mind.
