Chapter 2-Part 2: finding ZOI
"I'm in the science lab, where are you?" "I'm behind you," said Thánatos. Elizabeth turns around looking confused and asked, "when did you get here?" "not too long ago," thánatos replied. "Hold on to my hand," said Thánatos. Elizabeth hesitated a little and asked, "are you sure?" Thánatos grabs her hand and in the blink of an eye, they moved to a different location.
"What just happened? Where are we? I don't understand." Looking scared and confused, Elizabeth holds onto Thánatos hand and said, "I'm not going anywhere unless you tell me where we are." Thánatos looks at Elizabeth and smiled, "we're in Egypt," said Thánatos, "my sister is hiding somewhere here and I need to find her." "Ok, I'll help you find her but first, what are you and who are you?" said Elizabeth. "Do you really need to do this now?" "ok look for your sister on your own." "ok," said Thánatos, "I'll tell you who and what I am. I'm the first, the oldest, the most beautiful of them all, the one who rules over the dead. That's who and what I am so can we go now?" "sure," Elizabeth replies.
_*Back at Morgan Stanley college*_
"Aye guys, do you know where Liz is?" Joshua turns around. "Oh Emma, what's up" "I'm looking for Liz," she replied. "I saw her earlier," "oh, Joseph, how are you?" Emma asked. "I'm great," Joseph replied. "She got a call and then took off, why don't you try calling her cellphone?" "I've already tried that but I'm only getting voicemail." Emma sighs. "Ok, thanks guys." "Wait a minute Emma, the student council president was looking for you, I think you should go to her and hear what she has to say." "Ok Joseph see you later."
"Thánatos we've been walking for a very long time now, I'm tired. Don't you have a clue where she might be?" "I do," Thánatos said. "I'm tracking her power," Elizabeth looks at him and roll her eyes "ok, so how far is she?" Elizabeth asked Thánatos. "Not far, by the way, are you ok? I'm sorry I took you on this crazy adventure of mine. I'll make it up to you, if you want anything just tell me." Elizabeth laughed and asked, "anything?" Thánatos replies, "yes, anything." Elizabeth looks at him and said, "I want to get to know you better. I barely know you yet I'm halfway across the world with you, which is kinda surprising since I was at school and then in the blink of an eye I'm in Egypt, so explain while we search for your sister."
_*One hour later*_
"Wait, so you're telling me that vampires, wolves and goblins are real?" Thánatos replies, "yes, but not just them, other creatures." "ok," said Elizabeth. "But if you're not any of those, what are you?" Elizabeth asked. "I'm like god, I'm everywhere and nowhere." "I don't know what that means," said Elizabeth, "so please explain." "ok," said Thánatos. "I'm the one who holds the power and authority over the dead." Elizabeth stops walking and said, "what does that mean?" Thánatos replies, "I'm death." "Like the grim reaper?" Elizabeth asked. "No not like them, grim reapers are my servants. I'm death it self. Thánatos looks at Elizabeth and asked, "what you don't believe me?" Elizabeth replies, "I don't know what to think anymore."
Thánatos stopped, "we're here," Elizabeth looks around and said "in the middle of nowhere?" Thánatos bent down, touched the sand and said, "η πύλη του Αρίου ανοίγει για το σκοτάδι."(gate of aries open for the darkness). _"He's speaking in that language again,"_ Elizabeth said to herself. The earth began to open, pyramids started to rise above the sand,grass started to appear, palm trees and bushes sprung up. "Welcome to Aries," Thánatos said."Wow," said Elizabeth, "this place is beautiful." I know, it belongs to my sister." Thánatos replied. "She really loves it here. To think that after descending from Pandora this is the first place she would come to. My little sister hasn't changed at all, let's go inside."
_*Inside Aries*_
"Zooooooooooiiiiiiiiiiiiiii!!!!" Thánatos shouts. "Little sister where are you?!! Zooooooooooiiiiiiiiiiiiiii, where are you?" Thánatos sighed. "That little-," "that little what?" Thánatos looks around, "oh it's you, where is my sister?" "who's is that?" Elizabeth asked. She's my sister's bodyguard." "It's been a long time. Neró." (νερό)
"It's not been that long," Neró replies. "What do you want Thánatos?" "It's Lord to you, watch your tongue, or you'll lose it." Neró starts to laugh, "oh really?" she said. "Yes, really," Thánatos replied. "Elizabeth get behind me and don't move." Thánatos then lifted up his right hand and starts to summoned Minions, "των νεκρών μου φέρνουν την ψυχή της." ( minions of the dead bring me her soul)
The mummies on the walls started to come alive. _"What the hell."_ Elizabeth said to herself. This is your last chance, Neró. Where's my sister?" Thánatos asked.
