Brother's here

Maya, Felix, Zhuqing and Adrian left the arena after gave up the fight. While going towards the stand they stopped at a corner to talk about the situation . Zhu Zhuqing, discerning the delicate nature of the situation, excused herself, leaving the trio alone.

In the quietude that followed, Adrian, unable to contain his emotions, enveloped Maya and Felix in a heartfelt embrace. The bond of family manifested in a powerful connection.

Adrian, releasing the hug, gazed at Maya and Felix with a mixture of relief and joy. "I never thought I'd see you both again," he admitted, his voice laden with emotion.

Maya, wiping away a tear, smiled at her brother. "How... how are you here?" she asked, her disbelief still lingering.

Adrian recounted the experience of waking up in front of the deity in the void, who revealed the fate that befell Maya and Felix. He spent a year searching for them in this world. Unable to find them both them after a year, he thought that maybe you will go to the Shrek Academy and therefore came here yesterday in Suotuo city and came here at Spirit Arena in hopes of reuniting with his sister and brother in law.

"What do you want to do now, Adrian?" Felix asked.

Adrian's gaze wandered, "I don't know," he admitted.

Felix teased, "Well, you could always join us at Shrek Academy. We've got quite the group there, including Zhuqing. Who knows, you might even have a chance to get to know her better."

Adrian chuckled at Felix's playful suggestion. "Shrek Academy, huh? That might not be a bad idea."

As they continued their conversation, Maya, Felix, and Adrian gradually returned to the stands where they were met with curious gazes from Mubai, Tang San, Xiao Wu, Oscar, Hongjun, and Zhu Zhuqing. The group sensed something significant had transpired but awaited an explanation.

Maya, choosing to keep the details private, simply stated, "Adrian is my brother. We got separated when we were kids and just found each other again."

A brief tale of a lost siblinghood unfolded, leaving the group with a sense of understanding.

Outside the Spirit Arena, as the night settled, Hongjun bid his farewells, departing for everybody knows where. Zhu Zhuqing, visibly avoiding Mubai, strolled away, eliciting frustration from the persistent Mubai, who eventually walked off in a different direction.

Observing the unfolding dynamics, Adrian caught sight of Zhu Zhuqing's retreating figure. Without a second thought, he followed her, prompting amused glances from Maya and Felix. The duo exchanged knowing looks and smiled slightly. Later, Tang San, Xiao Wu, Felix, and Maya, making their way back to Shrek Academy, reflected on the events of the day.

Once they reached the gates of Shrek Academy, they saw the cannon scene of Mubai getting angered with Rongrong and Tang San intermediating between them. As everybody left, RongRong looked towards Maya and Felix and offered the same support of Seven Treasured Glazed School in return of their help to beat Mubai. Maya and Felix looked at each other and decided to ignore her as they already had bad impression of Rongrong and went inside the academy to spend some time together after a hectic and emotional day as well as talk with dean about Adrian to let him join the academy.

The moon hung in the night sky, casting a gentle glow over the path that Zhu Zhuqing and Adrian treaded in silence. The atmosphere was heavy and Zhuqing's demeanor revealed the storm brewing within her.

Adrian, decided to break the silence with a lighthearted comment. "You know, it's a beautiful night. I always found the moon to be a good listener. If you have something on your mind, you can always share it with the moon."

Zhuqing shot him a sidelong glance, her icy exterior momentarily softened by the unexpected comment. "I doubt the moon cares about the problems of mere mortals," she replied, her tone measured.

Adrian grinned, undeterred. "Maybe not, but it's always good to have a celestial listener. Plus, you might feel a bit lighter after letting it out."

Zhuqing couldn't help but comment at Adrian's persistence. "You're quite the optimist, aren't you?"

Adrian chuckled. "Well, life's more enjoyable that way, don't you think? By the way, did I mention how awesome your spirit looks? That Hell Civet is seriously cool."

A faint blush colored Zhuqing's cheeks, a rare display of vulnerability. "It's just a spirit. Nothing special."

"Nonsense! I bet it makes you a formidable opponent in the arena," Adrian complimented, trying to steer the conversation towards more positive territory.

As they continued their walk, Adrian shifted to lighter topics, regaling Zhuqing with stories from his past and cracking jokes to elicit a smile. Zhuqing, in her reserved manner, didn't fully open up, but the corners of her lips occasionally betrayed a hint of amusement.

As they approached the academy, Adrian decided to broach the subject that hung in the air. "I noticed something was off earlier with you and Mubai. If you don't want to talk about it, that's fine. I'm just here if you ever need someone to listen."

Zhuqing hesitated, her guard momentarily lowering. "It's... complicated. Let's just say that we had some family history."

Adrian nodded understandingly already knowing everything, "We all have those moments. No need to dwell on it if you don't want to."

Zhuqing sighed, feeling grateful tried to shift the topic. "What are your future plans, Adrian?"

Adrian's eyes sparkled with enthusiasm. " I plan to continue improving my skills. For that I am thinking of joining Shrek Academy. Lets see what happens. Maybe we will become classmates."

Zhuqing smiled, "Well, yes you will be a great addition to the Shrek Academy if your skills in the spirit arena are anything to go by."

Adrian seeing Zhuqing's smile was left stunned for a moment but hurriedly composed himself and continued their conversation telling her about childhood stories of Maya, Felix and himself.

Zhuqing's stern expression softened slightly, "You really love them both, don't you?"

Adrian nodded. "Yep."

Zhuqing's demeanor thawed a bit, and she offered a genuine smile. "It must be nice to find family again."

As they reached the academy, Zhuqing bid Adrian goodnight, disappearing into the shadows. Adrian, left alone, couldn't help but feel a sense of accomplishment. He might not have fully unraveled Zhuqing's mysterious nature, but he had successfully lifted the veil of ice, if only for a moment.

Adrian met up with Maya and Felix as the trio, headed towards Dean Flender's office to discuss Adrian's admission to the academy.
