Chapter 16

Trudy's POV

I woke up with a raging headache, what happened last night? All I remember is being put to bed by Mummy and then, nothing. I looked around and instantly released, I was definitely not at home. I quickly realised there was a gag around my mouth, I shook my head in some, very questionable positions and eventually got rid of it. I properly looked around and I realised I was in an underground cellar of some sort. "Why are you keeping me here?!" I screamed, I waited for an answer but I heard nothing, even with my enhanced hearing. Believe me, I tried.

What I think was a couple of hours later, a female brunette waltzed into the room. Her aura was evil and cocky, "well well well, we finally caught you. The product of true love, true soulmates offspring. How sweet" I growled at her, I didn't really understand what she just said but I don't really care. I just what to rip her throughout with my claws. Sorry, Scott, I just prefer to kill people who annoy me, but everybody can be a true alpha you know. "LET ME GO!" I yelled. I didn't even know who this woman was. "oh the joys of holding somebody captive" Her grin was evil and twisted.

"YOU'RE EVIL AND SICK. YOU AND YOUR TWISTED VILE WAYS!" The woman snarled at me. "Well your parents should have watched over you better, don't you think?" She growled.

Derek's POV

I had just ran upto Trudy's room and she's not there. I double checked absolutely everywhere. She's not here. "Echo!" I yelled, trying to get her attention. To be honest I could you the mind link, but I'm currently not focused enough for that. "Yes?" She replied, coming down the stairs towards me. "Have you seen Trudy?" She nodded. Thank God! "She's in bed, why?" My hopes diminished. "I can't find her anywhere. She isn't anywhere. I tried everywhere, she sint here." Echo's expression dropped.

"NOO!" She yelled, falling to her knees. I leant down beside her, "Don't worry we will get her back. We need an emergency pack meeting." I went outside, Echo now at my side. We both howled and waited for the pack. Scott came first followed by Stiles and Malia. Liam, Hayden, Isaac and Allison all turned up. "Damn it we need Peter!" As so as I said that he emerged from the tree line. "I'm here" He said in an annoyed tone.

"Right, Trudy is missing. I want everybody to help find her. Peter,that is you included. Stiles, you go in the jeep and search the town, you can also get Mason and Corey. The more help the better. Allison, Hayden, Liam and Isaac, I want you to search the preserve. Scott, Malia, Echo and I will search the rest of town. Peter and Deacualion, I want you searching the edges of town." Kn the time I had been talking, Deaucalion had turned up. Everyone nodded and left in different directions.

Everyone had been given something of Trudy's to follow her scent with. Everybody split up and ran whatever way her scent led them, which was frustratingly all in different directions.

2 days later.....

Echo's POV

We couldn't believe it. We had found Trudy, but the person who took her, now known as the desert wolf's sister. Trudy's scent led us to an abandoned warehouses out of town, it's just, things didn't end like a fairy tale, not all princesses get their happy ending, devastatingly, Trudy was one of them.

Flashback...

We had just finished tracking Trudy, we knew she wasnt dead, she just couldn't be, I would break us all. The abandoned warehouse was where everybody met, after discovering that it was the desert wolf's sister who took her, when I grab hold of that woman's face, I will tear it to pieces, while she was still alive. Derek and I went in first, followed by Peter, Scott and Stiles, even thought I may not like Peter much, Trudy had taken a liking to him. We entered the main bit, where the Desert wolf's sister was standing over Trudy, I let out a menacing growl and she turned to me. "Ahh just who I've been looking for, have you finished your little brat, cause I sure dont understand what you see in her."

This time, it was Derek who snarled. "Well you can have her back" We went towards Trudy, who seemed to be limp on the ground, but we could all hear her heartbeat. "In your dreams" The woman muttered, before pulling out a sleek looking gun, and pointing it towards my daughter. "Don't you dare" I yelled, shifting and sprinting towards her. She chuckled and as I threw I punch to try and rid her of the gun, the others entered, and within the millisecond I turned away for, I heard gunshots Echo throughout the room. And no, this is not the time for a name joke.

I looked towards the sound, and then at where the witch was pointing the gun. NO! Trudy had bullets all inside her body! That b*tch is in for it now. I came stalking towards her, and while Malia ran past me and to her aunts back, she held her stil while I clawed and cut at the cruel woman's body. I could hear Trudy crying out in pain in the background, so I let the witch go and ran over to my daughter. The bullets had been filled with yellow Wolfsbane. I thought we had destroyed it years ago!

(Start Song)

Trudy saw me come towards me and weakly smiled, "Mama" I grabbed hold of her hands, trying to take her pain, "No! You'll get hurt! I dont want that for you" She cried, trying to shake her hand from my grasp. After lots fo comparing I let it go, Derek had pulled her into his arms, he had tears falling out his eyes, and it would be a complete lie if I said I wasnt crying. Tears quickly slipped from my eyes as Trudy got weaker. "You were the best Mama and Papa anybody could ask for. I want you to be happy," she winced when pain shot through her. "And I want for you not to be sad about me, if it's my time to go, it's my time. I'll remember to say hi to Grandma Talia."

"Love you Mama and Papa"

That was the night my world came crashing down.
