a soldier forced to live in the world of dying light.... why do the night hunters seem more interested in him? but of course, how is he suppose to help the tower when rias men keep making trouble? by slaughtering them all.
"That wasn't a war crime. Trust me, I did many of those in my time. That was a casual Tuesday," Jack said shrugging.
"And that's the problem, just where in the hell did you grow up where war crimes are even allowed?" Jade asked.
Jack blinked, clearly confused.
"So killing surrendering enemies is a war crime? Huh, didn't know that one," it was indeed true.
Jack had to deal with mass murdering terrorists who wanted to nuke every country, so war crimes were the least of his concerns.
Jack and his partner Yuri had to storm a tower in juggernaut suits, and sadly Yuri died in that battle.
But Jack got his revenge in the end, but he died smoking a cigar. Fun times.
"Hey Jack... What did you do before this," Jade asked.
Jack overlooked the city, almost in sadness. His world almost fell to terrorists, and this one to an apocalypse.
"I was a soldier," Jack said. He threw one of the makeshift throwing knives he had, and down below it hit a zombie directly in his head.
For the first time, Jack just laid back on the roof. Not on edge, or scanning his surroundings...
It was rather relaxing, wasn't it?
"And you? I've seen how well you fight. So you must be a fighter of some kind," Jack asked.
"Yup. Before the city went to shit I was preparing for a fight. Me and my brother made it out. While others weren't lucky. We managed to hold up in the tower for as long as we could.
Our supplies were running low. Antizin, food, and medicine were in short demand. However you appeared on our doorstep, delivering us supplies," Jade said.
Jack sighed and looked up at the sky. That must've been why the city was full of zombies. Way more than an average city.
It was because she was a famous boxer. So technically it was her fault the outbreak was bigger than originally.
Jack leaned onto his side before looking at Jade.
"Are you a noose? Because I see myself inside you," Jack said with a coy smirk.
*Snort*
"Suicide jokes, really?" Jade chuckled as she looked over at Jack.
"Who knows? Play your cards right, and I'll think about it," she said before leaving into the tower.
Huh, never thought I would get this far. Now what do I do?
...
"Look at him. He has no rizz" Soap told Yuri as he pointed down at Jack.
*Sigh* "Come on, we taught him better than this," Yuri sighed.
"Come on at least we got more girls than he did right... Right?" Soap's voice didn't sound too certain.
"I don't think any of us had any maidens soap... None of us," Yuri patted Soap's shoulder.
"So operation dusk to dust huh? How was it?" Soap asked Yuri.
"Well... Makorov died. Jack made sure of it. But when he fell, he got impaled through the chest. He barely lit his cigar before he lost consciousness. Then he died in a hospital," Yuri shrugged.
"Seriously? I'm surprised he doesn't have one right now," Soap said nudging Yuri's arm.
"Trust me, I'm surprised he doesn't have his mask off. When he died, that was the first time it was ever taken off," Yuri said.
"Well, they quite literally had to come into a tower full of dead bodies, which I did most of the work (he did not), and retrieve his body," Yuri continued.
"Oh please, he killed almost all of them. You used him as a shield. Don't pretend I was watching while I was dead," Soap laughed.
Jack's head turned to the sky for a second, and suddenly flipped it off.
"You think he heard us?"
"Nah... That's impossible... Isn't it?"
...
Something was watching him, that much was pretty obvious. Somehow he felt like they were talking shit...
Well, it wasn't like it was his problem.
"Ugh, I need to get out more," Jack sighed before heading to help the tower clean up the other floors.
Ugh, so much cleaning.
