Sebastian's pieces had pre tournament

Sebastian with his new staff gripped in his hand stepped up to the king piece monument and placed his hand on it.

The monument glowed a dim white for a few seconds before it brightened up to the intensity where everyone in the room had to close their eyes. The light eventually died down with a whirring coming from the evil piece machine following it that drew sound and not blinding light back into the room.

"Here you go" Ajuka said coming out of his stupor and handing the box of evil pieces to Sebastian "Let's see what you've got then"

Sebastian opened the box of evil to be suprised at the contents

Pure black pieces

Some of pieces however had blue like veins on them that glowed at random intervals signifying that they were mutated. The queen, one bishop, one rook, and 2 pawns were mutated giving Sebastian the highest count of mutated pieces to date.

"I've never seen black nor blue glowing pieces before, aswell as that many mutations!" Ajuka exclaimed in suprise at Sebastian while the rest of his family agreed with him.

"Looks like your training wasnt for show then" Lord Sitri commented as he looked at Sebastian Sebastian decorating his box of evil pieces by putting the sigil of the Sitri family on top of the box surrounded by different types of flowers around it in a circle with different patterns in symmetrical designs.

"I shall be entering the young devils tournament I dont know if you are though my dearest sister?" Sebastian asked with his ever present smile widening a bit when he asked his sister that.

"Of course I am brother, Rias will be to from what I've heard off of her... With that being said I dont intend to lose to you even if you are my big brother I won't go down without a fight!" Sona exclaimed with passion which made all the adults chuckle at the antics of her.

"Good, I may get a chance to test my magic properly against real opponents if they arent terribly weak" Sebastian said putting away his pieces in the inside pocket of coat while gripping his staff tightly his eyes burning in excitement.

"You must remember not to go too overboard with your magic as you may seriously hurt someone" Lady Sitri said in a strict voice.

"I wont mother I'll adjust my strength appropriately to my opponent" Sebastisn replied to his mother who quickly flashed him her motherly smile taking both of the newly appointed kings into a bone breaking hug.

"Look at you two all grown up and getting your own peerages, I'm so proud" She said nearly breaking out in tears.

"Before you start crying let's get home" Lord Sitri said as he pulled the dotting mother of her two children while Serafall had finally calmed down from her rampage around Ajuka's lab.

"Thank you again Ajuka' well get going now" Lord Sitri said forming a teleportation circle "bye bye Aju-chan!" Serafall shouted "Bye uncle Ajuka" Sona said "Goodbye Ajuka" Sebastian said as they all entered the teleportation circle leading to the Sitri Mansion

"If you both are going to compete you have a few days to prepare yourself before the matches, if you need to ask your big sister about it I'll tell you, I am helping set it up of course!" Serafall said as bubbly as ever.

"Thank you sister, I'm going to train for a while now so goodbye" Sebastian said as he departed to his room to test and modify his magic.

The day of the tournament finally rolled around and Sebastian was ready and couldn't wait to participate and battle the other young devils and see who the strongest young devil was.

All participants were told to gather in Lucifaad, the capital or more specifically the arena there.
