Chapter 2 - Such a Bro

It happened eight years ago.

It had turned dark; his little sister had gone missing since this morning. Both of his parents are panicking about their daughter's disappearance. Anakin ignored their warning and ran out of the house to find his sister.

He doesn't give a damn about the winter.

Without caring for his surrounding, He runs as fast as he can with his short legs. He didn't even cry when his legs started to feel the pain in the muscles; the only thing he could think of was his little sister, Amelia.

Praying for the safety of his little sister,

He looked everywhere, from the park they always play to the bridge where they always spend time together. He couldn't find her; it was hopeless. Why is he so useless? He then keeps blaming himself over and over but then remembers the place where they always play hide-and-seek.

It was an abandoned house near the church,

Despite the pain in his legs, he forced himself to walk...then crawl. He won't stop unless he gets to see her; what if she was attacked by a monster!? As soon as he reached the abandoned house, he heard cries.

It was his sister's voice,

Did the monster already get to her!?

He pushed his legs to their limit, running without caring for the pain. His head is only thinking about her safety and her well-being. As soon as he opened the door to the house. He runs around the house and keeps screaming for her name.

Then he heard her voice calling for him from a room on the second floor; he then ran through the stairs and opened the door to the room. He didn't care what monster or creature was behind that door; all he cared about was his cute little sister.

As soon as he opened the door, he saw his little sister being tied to a chair,

She is still in her school outfit,

He untied her, and she immediately jumped onto him,

"Big brother! Uwaaaaaaaaa! I'm so scared! It was so scary!"

He patted her head and told her everything was all right and that he would always be by her side.

Although his legs are still trembling, He decides to give her a piggyback ride,

On their way home, Amelia utters something that changes his life.

Maybe she means that she loves him as a brother,

But He thinks of it as a love confession from his sister,

That is the turning point for him to fall in love with her.

"Urghhh..." Anakin groaned as he slowly opened his eyes, waking up from his deep slumber. The ceilings are unfamiliar to him, Instead of it being a hospital ceiling or his room. The ceilings that he sees are something only wealthy people have; it was beam ceilings.
