CHAPTER 6:MY FIANCEE, RIAS

RISER POV

"Riser-kun you must know why we are here right? I believe your parents already tell you about it." Lord Gremory said to me as I nod my head.

"Yes. I know. It is the start of the union of our family. The engagement of me, Third Son of Phenex and your daughter, Rias Gremory, Heiress of Gremory." I said toward him making him smile.

"I believe that with my daughter's engagement toward you both our family will be able to produce a child that will lead the next generation to a next level than the current one. And the source of our house income also will be increased. " Zeoticus Gremory said as I know in his head my engagement with Rias is good for the devil society.

Yeah. Typical reasons but my house lucked out to get this deal since everyone knows influential, famous and powerful the House of Gremory is.

The richness of the House of Gremory may not be at the same level as my House, Phenex but they have formed many relationships with some well-known devils that benefit those houses since the Gremory luck in doing business, any kind of business is going well with other houses pursued to buy a share of those shops.

Almost every House desires to ally with Gremory since they hold the market of Underworld alongside Phenex, Sitri, Agares and Bael. The last one is a long time alliance when Venelana married Zeoticus.

The name Gremory is so famous in the Underworld and also the other factions, especially the famed crimson hair as it is due to Crimson Satan Lucifer, Sirzechs who is the strongest of the 4 Satan of the Underworld.

Due to that reason, some try to have formed alliances or have their heir engage with Rias. Just becoming the husband of Rias will put anyone at ease since wealth is not a problem and I am sure Siscon Sirzechs will back up his brother in law with all his might to bend the rule to help his sister or brother in law to the point he will use his authority as the ruler of the Underworld.

He is the top dog of the Underworld.

"With the Phenex signature Immortality and Power of Destruction, I have imagined how the next generation devil ruler that will come from our house due to this engagement." Zeoticus blabber as I nod my head with me smile hearing what he said.

"I am very happy Zeoticus when you accept my proposal. " Lord Phenex my father said as both Lord of the House knows my engagement brings more glory to both of our House.

Urghh. This matter made me have a headache. I can see how Venelana is neutral about this matter.

But my fiancee Rias must not be happy with our engagement. She loathes Riser and hated him with a passion to the point she will run to the Human World as she did in the anime.

"Venelana. How about you call our daughter?" Zeoticus said to his wife who nod his head as Venelana stood up which made her Oppai jiggle as I gulp seeing those bounce I quickly averted my eyes while holding myself from staring at her more.

Venelana seems to catch this as she just seems weird seeing my expression as she goes to another side of the room.

My father is still chatting with Lord Gremory.

"NO!" A female voice thundered which made me surprised as Zeoticus had a bitter smile on his face as I know who scream that.

Rias Gremory, my fiancee which I know right now did not want to meet me. Wow, her shout make me know she did not want to see my face at all. That made me a little sad.

I can hear the whisper coming from Venelana as she must tell Rias to keep her tone down as Lord Gremory cough as our attention now is on him.

"So Riser, as you know Rias is younger than you. 2 years younger than you." He said to me as I know my age is the same as in the anime, the same with Rias.

"I see. Well, age did not hold back anyone to love each other. Age for us devils is just meer number." I said while making myself like a wise person upon muttering that sentence.

"Hahaha. You are right Riser. You are truly right." Lord Gremory said.

My talking seems to make my parent watch me with weird gazes. The same goes for my sister.

"Wise sentences in a single day. What kind of drink does he gulp in today for him to become a person like this. It is like I am seeing a different person with my eyes right now." Lord Phenex had to admit he is a little happy seeing her son in patience to meet his fiancee rather than demand or lash out to meet the Heiress.

He already had prepared sentences and other gifts to ease or soothe down Zeoticus and her wife if Riser displayed rude behaviour but it seems he did not have to.

"Well, Zeoticus and I can drink these whiskeys I brought. Of course away from the eyes from our wives to celebrate the engagement of his daughter and my son." Lord Phenex thought in his head as he cannot wait to drink those whiskeys he brings. Drinking those is simply bliss for him and Zeoticus to push away the stress and tiredness they suffer from doing tons of paperwork in a single day which they sometimes enjoy and most of the time did not enjoy.

He released a sigh in relief though he hope Riser controlled his excitement and urge when he sees the Heiress of Gregory House.

"So far so good. My son Riser is displaying a positive attitude." Lady Phenex thought that in her mind. She knows her son is not the best and most polite person in the Underworld which cause her to worry if he shows any sign or gesture that will make Gremory family members feel uncomfortable and dissatisfied to accept Riser as their son in law.

"Keep doing this, my son. " Lady Phenex plead in her mind since his fiancee is about to meet him face to face.

From the rumours about Rias Gremory, she and her husband know the girl is not that sociable with most male devils. The only one she is close with is Sairaorg Bael, her cousin.

And other female devils that are around jer age with her is very close to the Heiress of Sitri House. They always play with each other even when they are little children.

Sitri and Gremory House are very considering both families have known each other for a long time.

Even their eldest children that are now Satan are close friends so no wonder the younger sister of both elder siblings are close friends.

Well, Lady Phenex knows the Gremory Heiress is not like her son who always goes to the Underworld capital to have some fun rather she always stays in the mansion to do her stuff.

She knows the Gremory Heiress already has a peerage member unlike her son who still did not have any peerage members though her husband has gathered several candidates to become his peerage members.

So after this, her husband will ask Riser's opinion to see if he wants to choose among the candidates to become his peerage members.

"Maybe I also can make Ravel become one of his peerage members. I just need Ravel to watch her brother act as a King of his peerage.

She will maybe get experience when she can become a King when she has her own peerage members." Lady Phenex has to inform her husband to see if this idea is a good one and maybe he can tell this toward Riser.

"Riser-nii sama, I expect him to ask the Lord and Lady Gremory to see his fiancee as quick as possible but he did not do that. Let's see if your current behaviour remains the same when he meets his fiancee. I hope he did not laugh loudly like a prick after that." Ravel look at her brother who seems to be either, nervous or anxious rather than feeling so excited to meet the woman he engaged.

The sound of footsteps can be heard as all the occupants are now waiting for the Heiress to show her face toward them.

"Finally, we are going to see each other faces Rias Gremory." Riser thought in his head as he steels his nerves to meet the scarlet hair woman and was ready to receive some nasty with harsh glares that will be directed at him.
