Ch2: Gacha

Kaiser slowly opened his eyes. There was loads of information that he didn't know and his brain was running through all of them to get a better grasp on his situation. There were so many things he didn't know. From the existence of supernatural beings such as devils, angels, Dragons, gods of different pythons, and more.
And the person who killed both his parents probably was in one of these factions. If he wanted to confront them and find the reason behind the attack that happened last night, then he needed to be strong enough to go against these supernatural beings.
After a while, he sighed "So from what you told me I can use you to get my revenge on those that killed my family. Correct ?"
[Yes. By using the system host indeed can get the revenge they want.]
"I see. then I will use you to get my revenge. I hope you stay true to your words."
[Does host doesn't care if system has any ulterior motives and would use host for its own purpose?]
"Not really, I would be dead right now if it weren't for you. Heck, you could probably just use my body and control it to do anything you want. So I consider the life I have right now a borrowed one as the original me died last night. Just help me get my revenge and you can do whatever you or your creator wants after."
[The system is completely Under uses commands. The only time it will interfere against the will of host is in emergency situations that risk your life.]
"Whatever. Explain to me how I didn't die last night. Also, give me Any other information about how this system works."
[System has functions. 1)Status 2)CCG 3)Inventory 4)Training Ground.]
"Explain each one for me." Kaiser Commanded with a monotonous tone.
[Status: Shows hosts and other people's stats and information such as their power level comparison to host and skills.]
[CCG is short for Character Skill Gacha. For Each 5 Level the user gains they will be given 1 Ticket to use this Gacha and pull for a random character Card. The user can Either Absorb The card and gain one random skill of the character that is mentioned on the card or proceed to enter a trial in which by passing it they can choose the skill of their choice from that character's skill list.]
[Inventory: Literally an Inventory that user can use to store Items and other things in it. *Cannot store living things.]
[Training Ground: A Space made of nothingness and its sole purpose is for host to use it. Host can only use it to Spar or train with Characters that they have gained from Gacha.]
[Host also has Received LPA System Starter pack. The pack Contains One Skill with a Maxed level, 3 Tickets For CCG, and lastly a One-time use World Travel Coupon.]
"What's the skill that I got?"
[Host has gained a rare Skill Called (Return By Death). More information about Skill is available on the status Menu.]
"So this is the skill that made me come back to life after that massacre. What about The tickets? Can I use them now?"
[Yes]
"Great. Let's see if I can get anything good from it." Kaiser then tapped on the CCG text which made the screen of system change into another.
[Welcome To CCG. User can use the tickets they have earned through different means here to try their luck at getting character cards. All of the available characters are from Fantasy Worlds. From time to time there will be limited banners where the host can use the tickets on them. The Limited Banners only Contain Characters from one World. Also, by pulling on the limited banner, host will gain one pity token. After gathering 10 pity tokens the user can use them all to choose one skill that he wants from the next character they get from the limited banner instead of going through the trial. System wishes the best of luck to host.]
"Wait, what do you mean by Fantasy worlds? Are there other worlds besides the one we're already at?"
[Host already has a World Travel coupon. Just with that, they should know that there exists more than one world. The Multiverse is a vast place that hosts different Worlds, timelines, and more.]
Kaiser sighed as he was learning more than he could handle after what he went through
"I see." He then looked at the Screen to see the available banners.
[2 Banners are currently Available. The Standard Banner has all Characters from multiverse and the other banner is a limited banner that has characters from (Black Clover) World. Black Clover is a world that has magic in it similar to host's world. People use a type of energy called Mana to cast spells while using grimoires.]
Kaiser decided to check the Limited banner so he tapped on the limited banner icon which made another screen pop up that showed a few people on the banner. In front was a short boy with white hair, green eyes, and a ripped body. He was also holding a black sword in his hand. Beside him was another boy who was taller than the white-haired boy. He had short black hair and yellow eyes. A small fairy was also sitting on his shoulder. Kaiser looked at the banner for a few minutes to decide whether should he gamble on this banner or not.
"I have three tickets, so using one on this banner wouldn't be a waste." he then clicked on the pull ×1 button.
The screen lit up and showed many character cards from black clover, and went through all of them at high speed. After a few seconds, it slowed down and finally landed on a character's card.
[Congratulations host has gained Black Bulls captain (Yami Sukehiro) Card.]
A Card appeared in front of Kaiser. With his small hands, he took the card and looked at it. The character in the card or as the system called him Yami Sukehiro, was a tall and muscular man that was wearing a white shirt and a black robe with gold trimmings. He had spiky, unkempt black hair that reached down to his neck. Yami had sharp and narrow eyes that made him look more serious and intense.
[Skill card can be absorbed. Would host like to proceed and absorb the card?]
"You said I can enter a trial and choose a skill that I want. Are there any trials available for this character?"
[Yes. Yami Sukehiro's character Trial is available.
Requirements: Injure Yami Sukehiro in a spar.
Reward: One skill of host's choice from Yami Skillsett.

Additional Rewards may be given depending on how the user completes the trial.]
'Just injure him? If the condition is like that then he surely must be a strong Individual. And given that my body is that of a kid, I'll probably lose to him in an instant.' Kaiser thought to himself.
The first character card I got was good Maybe I should use one more ticket, it won't hurt using one more right?
Kaiser once again tapped on the pull ×1 button. The screen lit up again and showed the same thing as last time and after a few seconds stopped on a character's card.
[Congratulations host has gained (leopard vermillion) card]

Kaiser facepalmed "I got a character that's weaker than Yami." Kaiser picked up the card "Can I absorb it now?"
[The Character card (Leopard Vermillion) will be absorbed by host. A random skill from Leopard's Skillset will be given to the host.]
After system's new message, the card turned into a small flame and went inside Kaiser's heart.

"So this is how it works. Not bad. I have one more ticket but should I save it or use it?"
After pondering about it for a few seconds Kaiser chose the standard banner this time.
Unlike the limited banner, this time the screen didn't go through many character cards. A single card appeared in front of Kaiser and at first shone bright red, then dark red and after that, a hollow of a Swordsman was shown.
[Congratulations host has gained the Sun Hashira (Yoriichi Tsugikuni) Card.]
Looking at the card Kaiser saw a tall man that was wearing a red haori. The man had a lean muscular build, fair skin, maroon eyes, and long spiky hair with red tips that was kept in a ponytail. His face similar to Kaiser was expressionless.
[Yoriichi Tsugikuni's character Trial is available.
Requirements: Injure Yoriichi Tsugikuni in a spar.
Reward: One skill of host's choice from Yoriichi Skillset.

'The number of times I can attempt his trial has decreased compared to Yami's Trial. This either could mean he is stronger than Yami which is why I have fewer chances to complete his trial or it could mean that he's an easier opponent hence why I wouldn't need that many chances to complete his trial.' Kaiser thought to himself while rubbing his forehead. All the things that had happened to him and were happening were just too much for him. "System show me my stats."

[Indeed. The first skill the user gained that needs a source of energy, requires mana hence why from now on any skill user gains their source of energy would change from their original one to mana. Also, there is a ranking in the amount of mana a person holds.]

(A/N: The words in the () is not visible for mc and i just put them there as reference for you guys. Also this is just the mana capacity of each class, it's not related to power level as a character with lower mana level can beat one with higher mana level by differences in skills and their capabilities.)

"Ah, so this is the skill that returned me to life. What happens if I die again before the cooldown on this skill ends?"
[Host will die for real this time and can't be revived. So please refrain from using this skill as a way to time travel and change the events that happened in the past.]
"I see. The skill revives me to a day before and has a 24-hour cooldown, so no matter what I do I can't go back in time for more than a day."
[Host is correct. For example, if the host dies on 21 May at 8:00 they will be revived on 20 May at 8:00 and need to wait till 21 May 8:00 to use the skill again. So host can't go back for more than a day before the day they were killed.]
"Ok onto the next skill. Show me what the skill I got from Gacha can do."
[Flame magic: Fire manipulation (Lv 1/100)
Allows the user to manipulate fire and use it for different goals. Sub-skills related to Fire magic could be created using this skill.
Cost: Depends on the usage.

The cost of this skill Will be decreased by leveling up the skill. Skill level can be increased by getting better control and mastery over fire manipulation or constant long-term usage of skill.]

Word count: 2102
How was the chapter? Most of this chapter was about mc getting familiar with system and trying gacha. I love gacha way too much(definitely not addicted to it), so there will be more scenes of mc using the gacha.
Also, drop any suggestions you have about skills or characters that you guys would like to see in a fic, I might add them if they are suitable for the Story that I have in mind.
