Chapter 87 They are good teachers.

"Rias, myself, her Peerage, and others, had a talk. We have agreed to build something. Monogamy is not written in my nature, neither was it written in the books of Rias. Your sister has no problem with sharing a lover but she prefers one with more honorable intentions and a more moral nature than Riser. I do intend to carry this engagement out. I would not have said those words, were I not to mean them."

The girls had found that honesty was a good policy and Issei found no reason to lie.

Learning a beautiful saying once "The truth is not an insult and reality is not an attack."

"That is a good answer. Some might have issues with your union. But I feel that your show with Riser has shown that. None of them would be fool enough to stand in your way. It does leave open a few other questions. Do you think that myself, my father, or my mother, would approve of you?"

Issei felt his jaw tighten and his arms were now crossed. There was a proud defiance in his eyes, which showed why he was heralded as the White Saint.

"You approved of Riser Phenex, so I can not see why you wouldn't approve of me. Were you not to approve of me, I don't think you would have kept me alive in the clubroom. From what I heard of Rias, I think your parents share the sentiment. If any of you do, then let it be known, that I will never give up Rias without a fight."

Sirzechs put up her hand. Fighting this fledging Dragon was not high on her list.

At least, not on the battlefield.

"If that is your resolve, I do not think that there will be an issue. Mother couldn't hide her happiness in your fight and Father, he'd like to meet you tonight. There will be one day before the party. I do hope that you can hold your liquor. We will be grilling you on questions."

Rias had warned him about it and he could live with that.

"But with that done, the party here will be one to celebrate my sister's victory in her first Rating Game. Not an official engagement party. The invitations were sent, the date has been planned and you'll have many offers. But I do think it'd be wise to enjoy this. Now, I would like to ask you how my sister could enlist your services. And how did you get the Former Holy Maiden, Asia Argento?"

Rias pulled on his arm and Issei got the message. Sitting down, next to the [King], he had one arm out, for Rias to hold herself.

"I am not telling you how I moved back to Kuoh. I will tell you that your sister and I formally met each other, and during that time, we came to an agreement. In return for closing an eye, she would allow me to save Asia. Asia is not the only woman I saved that night. Three Fallen Angels, who were cut loose, were also on the list. Rias' price was high but she agreed on me being the one to oversee those three. In return, I had to help her with a favor. That turned out to be, breaking this engagement. I had hoped that Rias would have told you."

The Crimson-Haired Princess had the decency to look sheepishly while Issei was done speaking.

"I take you had good reason not to make examples out of them." Issei was not going to lose Raynare and her friends now.

"My persuasion. And if I can be blunt, I have learned many things over my travels. You Super Natural Creatures might all talk but when you scrub away the upper layer, you'll find that you are not that different. Something that your sister has learned."

Rias nodded to her sister while she had even done something else.

"We transferred them to our school and Issei is the one who has to make sure they do not run amok. So far, we have no complaints." Her head turned to the Peerage.

"I suppose none of you do."

Akeno was the first.

"It'll take some time but so far, they are good teachers."

Kiba followed up.

"They were good for training during our time in the mountains."

Koneko also found that to be true.

"There could be worse guests."

Asia was the last and she knew more.

"Raynare-sama, Kalawarner-sama and Mittelt-sama have kept me safe. It'd be a discredit to say anything bad about them now."

Sirzechs raised an eyebrow when she heard those names.

"We have learned the names of them as well. Rias, am I correct in assuming that those Fallen Angels are also members of Issei's harem?"

The arms of Rias were crossed beneath her impressive chest while her eyes shined at her sister.

"Two of them, I am sure. In many aspects, those Fallen Angels are our seniors. We can learn much from them. And as my Peerage has mentioned, they have helped us during our training. While it was not easy at first, there have to be steps toward peace. We will never achieve it otherwise, sister."

Sirzechs found that to be a decent explanation although she would have to call Azazel and let him know about those girls. Something told her that those women, like her sister, would never want to leave Issei's side.

"I have my answers. Thank you, for enlightening me, Issei Hyoudou. Now, there is something I'd like to discuss with my sister. Would you all be so kind?"

Issei didn't know what they would talk about and he wasn't sure if he wanted to know.

"Oh, that reminds me. My mother is in her quarters. I think she would like a word with you as well. That goes for all of you, she has been missing her children."

Issei stood up and had Asia's arms around his left. Kiba and Koneko moved together as well, looking forward to seeing Venelana Gremory.
