DxD: Heavenly Spear Emperor

Not much, I feel underwhelmed about the True Longunis in the original novel DxD So I wondered, what if it was explored more? This is the story of the descendant of the Chinese Warlord Cao Cao. Read it for your own sake. https://discord.gg/denoffanfics

Reasons

Cao Cao wasn't in a hurry, his goal is to leave as much destruction as he can.

"DIE!!" The noble vampire lunged at him like a wild animal.

Snorting, he waved his spear to block his attack.

*HISS!*

A loud hiss came from the vampire's mouth before backing away immediately.

'DAMN THAT SPEAR!' Lord Vladi roared in his heart. Just by getting close is enough to bring him massive headaches and pain. He can't even imagine what will happen if he's directly hit.

This person!!

"Just tell me what did we do to you? We could negotiate something." Lord Vladi tried to persuade the intruder. He underestimated the spear, if this continues then more vampires would die and their faction would suffer more.

He doesn't believe that the True Longinus user just came because he felt like it, there must be a reason.

Maybe they offended him somehow? Or is it because of the connection of Holy Relics?

Wait, Holy Relics…

"You… are you the one who took thatl?" Lord Vladi growled. Is that really the reason? Can the Holy Spear sense what happened to the Holy Grail?

The Holy Relics are the most mysterious among the Longinus as most of them are connected to the de facto of the Biblical Faction.

If that's the case, then he wouldn't be surprised.

Another reason to beat up Marcus later.

"That? What's that?" The robed man titled his head confused.

"You…" Can he really say it now? There are others here. If people were to find out that they have the Sephiroth Graal in their hands, then it might cause a riot.

He doesn't trust these soldiers that much. They obey power, not the King.

"As for negotiation, we can't do that. I already told you that I'm only here to spread my name." He heard the robed man's amused voice.

For the first in a long time, Lord Vladi felt fear.

Is this what their victims felt when they were toying with them? The helplessness and despair creeping up to them without being able to do anything?

Lord Vladi clenched and unclenched his hands. He can't beat this person, not because he was weaker but because the True Longinus is their natural enemy.

He noticed that he's fast enough to react to his attacks. There's no way that this man in front of him is just an arrogant brat.

He's competent enough to use that spear and ward them off that's for sure.

But who trained him and why was there no news? Surely with the power of the Ultimate Longinus, the user would be well known.

So many questions with little answers.

"Intruder, we don't know how we offended you but stand down." He knows that no matter how angry he is, the situation won't change.

As the one of the lords, it's his responsibility to protect his people.

Reputation or not, it'll be a massive loss to trade their people for such a thing.

Reputation can be gained back, but their troops? It'll be hard. They are still at war with the Carmilla Faction after all.

There's no way they'll allow themselves to lose manpower for the sake of reputation.

Longinus and Lord Vladi looked at each other.

Few seconds passed until he heard the robed man snorting.

"Tch." The robed man turned around and left but still had the spear in his hands.

Seeing the robed man leaving, one of the soldiers tried chasing him but was stopped by his lord.

"My Lord, why would yo–!" He was quickly cut off by the glare of the vampire lord.

"Do you want to get vaporized?" The soldier immediately shook his head.

"Good, then fix these things up, I'm gonna report what happened here to our King." With that order, Lord Vladi left the room.

This needs to be known.

"Smart bastard. Well, I guess he didn't become a Lord for nothing." Cao Cao clicked his tounge while jumping in trees.

The supernatural world in DxD is weird as hell, that much he knows.

Angels having politics, leaders being goofy and the strongest existence being a loli and delinquent dragon.

Oh, a main character that gets power up through boobs.

But fiction is fiction and reality is reality, he couldn't get the same bullshit as the main cast in canon.

Third-rate Exorcist being sent to take Excalibur from a Fallen Angel recorded in the Bible? Great. Have a bunch of teenagers face off a God and the God Devouring Wolf who's considered part of the Top 10 Strongest in the World? Fantastic.

They are allowed to do this without much consequences, not just because of plot but because they have the leaders of various factions backing them up.

Something that he doesn't have.

If he decided to continue despite already being persuaded by the Lord, then once his reputation is known, he'll be classified as an unreasonable person.

Some people may praise his work but most people, especially leaders would see something else.

He doesn't have anyone backing him up, if he were to be asked why he attacked the faction once he revealed himself then he would be caught in a tight spot.

Two Longinus and Two Holy Relics?

It would alert other forces.

It's unwise to continue more. Not that he needed it in the first place. He already succeeded in doing what he needed to do.

"Time to go back to Valerie, that poor girl must be shivering now."

"Where is he?!" Valerie is getting irritated. That robed man kidnapped her and then left her here, near their enemy's territory.

As for not, why rescue? Who the hell rescued people and left them somewhere?

"Can you stop glaring at the air? I feel bad." Hearing the distorted voice of the man who rescued her, she turned her glare to him.

She saw him getting off the cloud that they used to fly earlier, the spear that gives her chills was nowhere to be seen.

"A-Are you done?" She gulped. Despite giving off a tough act, she can still remember the dangerous feeling the spear was emitting.

And judging by how he came back with no visible injuries, then he must be strong.

Tepes Faction has an army after all, from what he heard from Maruis, their army was feared throughout the supernatural world.

"Why don't we introduce ourselves first?" Clearing his throat, Cao Cao ignored the dhampir's question and asked.

The Vampire Princess looked for a moment and replied, "I'm Valerie Tepes, the daughter of the 4th King Tepes."

Removing his disguise and returning back to his usual clothes. The hero descendant smiled at the girl in front of him and said,

"I'm Cao Cao, the descendant of the Cao Mengde from Three Kingdoms."
