Date

After school hinatid nako ni Tristan sa bahay para maka pag ready sa date namin mamaya. After what happened ayaw ko na sanang umalis pa pagkatapos ng klase ngunit pinilit ako ni Tristan.

Gusto nya daw'ng bumawi sa nangyari kanina kahit hindi nya naman kasalanan and well since I miss having alone time with him pumayag na din ako.

I wore a nude fitting sleeveless dress and paired it up with my black stilettos and black LV hand bag that mom got me last Christmas. I know bata pako to wear these things pero I want to look mature eh especially that Tristan is very mature. I did my finishing touches and I heard a knock on my door before it opened. Lumabas na ako kaagad sa walk in closet ko at nakita ko si Leng.

"Ma'am, nandyan na po si sir Tristan." She said while arranging my things. I just nodded and looked at the time.

He's so early. What is he up to again this time?

Everytime Tristan takes me out on a date it's always so extra. Talagang grabe na effort ang ginagawa nya para mapasaya ako kahit hindi nya na naman dapat gawin because even the simplest things he do for me masaya na ako.

"Leng, paki kuha nalang yung Blueberry Cheesecake for my Tristan please. Thank you." I said before going out of my room para puntahan na si Tristan habang naka sunod lang si Leng sa likod ko. Wala si Grandma dahil may importanteng lakad daw.

"There you are. Wow." Tristan said when he saw me enter the living room. He walked towards me and kissed my cheek. "You're so early. Where are we going?" I asked waiting for leng.

"Hmmm. Secret" He replied smiling at me. "Ma'am, ito na po." Putol ni Leng kay Tristan. I turned to face Leng at kinuha na ang box ng Blueberry cheesecake na binake ko.

"I got you something." I said handing it to Tristan and his eyes widened realizing what it was. "Blueberry!!!" He replied taking the box. "Thank you. Let's eat this later." He added then kissed my forehead. I kept on asking Tristan where are we going but he wouldn't tell me. I kept looking around while we were in the car when I noticed we were heading to Lapu-Lapu City. This place is far from our home. "Why are we here?" I asked curious.

Hmm, maybe we're going to have dinner at one of the most famous beach resort here. If that's the case then I guess I'm overdressed. I was wrong tho because we turned to where Cebu Yacht Club and I got more curious.

"Are we gonna have dinner at Bucket Shrimps?" I asked and looked at my outfit. Okay I am very much overdressed. He laughed and pinched my cheek. "Patience baby. We're here." He replied and I felt the car engine stop and our door opened. He held my hand while leading me out of the car. I looked around and saw there are other restaurants and I thought we're gonna eat there but we went to another direction.

Just when I was about to ask again I saw a beautiful extravagant yacht and the crews who welcomed us and each of them are holding roses. There are also rose petals all over the floor. My eyes widened in surprise while my heart started to beat fast.

"Welcome, Miss Shantal!" They all greeted in unison and started giving me the roses one by one as a romantic song started playing when they were finish giving me the roses I stood there still speechless.

"I hope you like it." Tristan said and I slowly turned to him and my eyes widened again seeing Tristan with flowers in his hands.

I ran to him and hugged him tight while the music was still playing. "Tristan, thank you" I said still hugging him. "Bumabawi lang ako sayo and you deserve the best." He replied and kissed me.

I am seriously lost for words right now. Damn, what did I do to deserve him?

We were already settled inside the yacht after taking a couple of photos together with the flowers Tristan got me. There's a beautiful table set up just for the both of us while we sailed and I am enjoying every minute of it.

"Hmmm, this is so good. Who did you hire?" I complimented the food and asked Tristan. "Actually, I wanted to be the one to cook but I had no time because we were in school and I had to get all the stuff for this set up. I asked mom's help so she introduced me to her friend. I want you to be happy always, Shantal." He replied smiling at me. "I am happy even without all of these I am happy." I replied holding his hand across me.

I always get lost in his beautiful eyes. There's just something in the way he looks at me.

We spent the night having good dinner and enjoying each other's company. After dinner we sat on the couch overlooking the sea but I was watching the stars. One of the crew gave us fruit shakes instead of wine or anything alcoholic and I laughed hard looking at it.

"Really?"

I asked laughing at Tristan. "Hey, stop laughing. We're not allowed to drink yet. I'm not gonna break the rule." He replied laughing at me too as I rolled my eyes at him.

For hours we sat there just admiring the moment and treasuring our time together. I know when he goes to college he will be very busy with everything in college and it won't be the same anymore but I know it won't break us apart.

Nothing can break us a apart.

"So, what's your plan after SHS?" I asked out of nowhere. "hmmm, I want to take up Nautical Science." he replied hugging me from behind.

I knew it.

I knew from the very beginning that is what he always wanted to be. Just like his father. A very successful man in the Marine industry.

"So, you really are going to be my seafarer." I replied hugging his arms around me. "Yup, and only me." He replied as he placed a kiss on my neck and I shivered from his kiss.

"I know it won't be easy especially when I train and start working but promise me that you'll wait for me, okay?" He added and I know he's looking at me.

In a heartbeat, without a doubt I'd always wait for you.

I turned to face him and stared in his eyes. "Of course. I will always, always wait for you and I'll be here supporting you. I love you so much." I replied and leaned closer to him and kissed him deeply.

My heart is aching because deep inside I am scared. But this is what he wants. I don't want to be selfish.

Days went by and things were just perfect until my grandma got ill but then became okay. My parents came home. I mean my dad did to check on my lola then went back to where he always is. I still see Tristan everyday. It has been hard for me lately especially with my lola sick and he never left my side. Roxanne has been keeping her distance and things are okay now.

Time went by fast and it's already the end of the school year. Tristan just graduated and he's off to college and I'm off to Senior High school. Next school year we're going to different schools already. Well, I'll be going to the same school while he'll be going to another college that offers the course he will be taking and it is one of the best school for his chosen course.

This is a new chapter in our lives and tristan is going to college and I heard a lot about what usually happens when you go to college, there will be more boys and more and more girls.

That scares me the most.

"Hey. What are you thinking about?" I heard Tristan ask as he wrapped his arms around me after swimming. We're swimming in my house right now. I shook my head and looked at him. I gave him a big smile. "Nothing. I'm just excited for you." I replied as he raised his eyebrow staring at me I laughed completely facing him now. "I swear that's just it." I added laughing as he wrapped his towel around me.

"Basta sinasabi ko sayu, you don't have to worry about anything okay? College is about reaching your dreams, not about meeting new girls and besides, my school will most likely be all boys considering my course." He replied chuckling and I just nodded to assure him that I understand. "And kasama ko sila Benji, so don't worry okay?" He added cupping my face and placed a soft kiss on my lips.

That's how we spent our summer, together most of the time. We go on dates, have meals with lola and since he got his license already we went for a roadtrip just the two of us.

Enjoying each other's company.
