Verdant Wolf Riders

Adrian was sitting cross legged on top of World as he played with a metal brain teaser puzzle he had bought with DP, he was struggling for the life of him because he could not figure out how to complete it. He had finished the other two he bought easily but this one had stumped him.

Due to the recent increase in passive DP Adrian was more lenient with his spending on DP and would buy stuff that ease his boredom.

"Master, we have some- err -Good? news to report" Gobby said as he climbed World in order to report to Adrian.

"Why did it sound like you said Good as a question? Is it good or is it bad?" Adrian said as he stared down Gobby.

Gobby started to sweat as he began stuttering "I uh- don't- because I'm not" failing to form a complete sentence.

"Alright, alright, enough. Just lead me to the other goblins" He said as they headed down World.

--

Adrian was standing in front of 10 goblins with a confused look on his face. Well more accurately he should say he was standing in front of 10 goblins and 10 Verdant Wolves.

"So explain this to me again" Adrian said as he looked at the Goblins who were sitting atop the Verdant Wolves.

"Well, what sort of happened was my buddy here got attracted to my muscles-" Gobble began to explain in his own words

"STOP! Gabbie, explain please" Adrian quickly cut off Gobble because he could say any more nonsense.

"Hmm so what seems to be the case, is that due to our racial characteristics, Goblins are known for having the racial ability of wolf riding. We sort of imprinted? On a Verdant Wolf, and became connected. Our mana has become interlinked, as has our thoughts, and even our life!" Gabbie said as she began petting the wolf that was next to her.

"So your guy's fate is now intertwined? What a fascinating situation!" Adrian said as he looked at the goblins before him.

Name: Gabbie

Species: Verdant Wolf Rider

Skills: [Bite] [Wolf Telepathy] [Swift Foot]

Combat Power: ☆☆☆☆☆⑧

Adrian was stunned at this sight! Their increase in Combat Power was more than double! The strongest out of the group even reached 0 star rank 9 combat power! He looked at the skills they had, ignoring bite, because it was self explanatory.

[Wolf Telepathy] was a skill that allowed the goblin and wolf to connect their mind sharing thoughts instantaneously, this helped with performing tricking movements, and drastically increased combat power, it was more than just a 1+1=2.

[Swift Foot] increased the speed of the Goblin Verdant Wolf Rider's when they were mounted on top of their wolves. It seems like their abilities were all bonuses for conjoining together.

He looked at the remaining goblins who did not have a wolf to ride on and figured that this was too much of a loss so he purchased eight more Verdant Wolves as he said to them "Go ahead and pick whichever wolf you like, then form a connection."

He wanted to watch and see how this connection happened, but he knew it took time, and he also felt that it was kind of personal so he decided not to bother about it.

"So because you guys have gotten connected does this mean you can dig faster?" Adrian asked the wolf riders.

All of their faces paled, including the faces of the wolves when they heard the word dig. They were having PTSD about being forced to do manual labor day after day.

Adrian laughed at this sight, as he was only joking. Now that he was a rich man with passive income he didn't need to penny pinch about digging tunnels and new dungeon rooms manually.

Thinking of this he waved away the goblins who hastily scampered away on their wolves before Adrian changed his mind.

He opened the dungeon map to look at how his dungeon was faring, it had been half a month since they completed the lake transfer, and now almost all the seeds he planted in his dungeon were fully grown.

He looked at the spot he had previously decided to place a treasure chest before buying a wooden one with DP and placed a [Hundred Year Tree Core] inside. He did not know what sort of items adventurers liked, as he has not had any visit yet, but this should suffice. It was a valuable item used in ceremonies and alchemy.

He also decided to make a tunnel exiting the second room, it extended from the back of the room and Adrian then spent 500 DP to purchase an absolutely massive room. It was even bigger than the room before by a few times.

He then spent 250 more DP to purchase the the Maze scenery, but he selected a sort of plant called [Porcupine Hedge's] as the walls to be used in the maze, this of course costed him an extra 1000 DP, but he was okay with that because he wanted to stick with the theme of his dungeon.

A [Porcupine Hedge] was a plant that shot its thorns out at attackers that injured it. It would not shoot them out if touched or if someone gets too close, however the second someone causes it harm thorns will shoot out at extremely fast speeds.

Adrian watched as the maze appeared before him in wonder. The dungeon was truly magical. He looked towards the hedges as he inspected them.

Species: [Porcupine Hedge]

Skills: [Iron Branches] [Thorn Gun]

Combat Power: ★☆☆☆☆②

Adrian was stunned with its Combat Power, this plant was the strongest being he had seen to date! It was surely not to be messed with! Seeing all this he was very satisfied with his purchase! He also bought a bunch of Luminous flower's, and placed them throughout interwoven with the Porcupine Hedge's so they would be protected. He made sure there were no dark spots before nodding with a smile.

There was no exit to the maze yet, Adrian did not yet make one, because there was not a room after this one.

Aiden checked how much DP he had left before he bought two [Giant Herculean Beetle] Spawners for 1000DP each and placed them on either side of the maze so that when they spawned they would slowly walk around the maze and attack any intruders they came across.

Species: [Giant Herculean Beetle]

Skills: [Toss] [Charge]

Combat Power: ☆☆☆☆☆⑤

He was satisfied with how the maze was for now so he went back into the previous room and bought a [Giant Violet Bee] spawner for 400 DP.

Species: [Giant Violet Bee]

Skills: [Sting]

Combat Power: ☆☆☆☆☆④

He wondered why the bee spawner was so much cheaper even though they were only one rank apart, but he can't guess the thoughts of the dungeon core. He also was not worried about any adventurers breaking the spawners either, as that was only possible with extremely powerful Magical Weapons, the spawners were marble statues of the Monsters they spawn, so they were easily recognizable by adventurers.

He watched as a foot long Violet Bee just spawned before buzzing over towards one of the flowers he planted and started to fly around it. 'This works great because they will also pollinate my dungeon' Adrian thought as he watched the bee.

He looked at his remaining 1068 DP and decided to save the rest in case of emergencies.
