Adrian opened his eyes as he released a pent up breath. He was sitting cross legged inside of his house on top of World while he was meditating.

He smiled, he felt his combat power had increased!

Name: Adrian

Combat Power: ☆☆☆☆☆⑦

It was not a big increase but he had gone up one rank. Every little increase in strength was good news for him. He felt that the continuous mana depletion had helped him to rank up faster.

Happy with this thought he went down World in order to continue with his plan to create a path towards Endless City.

He began to use animate plants as he slowly moved one tree after another. After about an hour of work Adrian heard some laughing and talking and paused as he was confused who this was.

There were more visitors coming to his dungeon? He was about to step out of the tree line to greet them as they were swatting low hanging bushes in their way and trotting through the underbrush.

The person leading the entire group was an orc over six feet tall with large protruding tusks coming from its face. It was wearing a kilt made of beast skin baring its naked upper chest. He carried a war axe on one shoulder as he walked through the forest.

The man right behind him was a burly man with a beard and a sneaky look in his eyes always darting around. The rest of the group also looked shady as they had smirks or taunting gestures as they talked about their business.

However when he saw the face of one of the men standing towards the front of the group he paused. He knew this man! It was one of the thugs who had attacked him back in Endless City!

He looked at the group of men who were walking towards him and he knew these were not good people. They all looked like they were a part of the same group, and Adrian counted fifteen of them. There were almost more of them than there were residents in his town!

Adrian listened to a bit of their conversation and heard the name Verdant Town come up along with Verdant Wolves, he got the gist of what they were saying and quickly turned as he ran towards the dungeon.

He needed to prepare!

Running back as fast as he could he was panting as he arrived.

"Quickly! Assemble!" he yelled as he looked back into the treeline to see if he could spot the thugs. They were now walking on the path he created and Adrian wanted to cry because the first people to use the path he made were using it to attack his village!

The goblins quickly ran out from their houses as they arrived in front of Adrian one after another. Within one minute all the goblins appeared before Adrian fully kitted out. Even Dahlia was standing next to Adrian with a confused look on her face.

"There are invaders! We need to get ready for a fight! They are fifteen people strong. Use guerilla tactics! GO NOW! Wait for my signal then attack!" Adrian said and motioned the goblins as they sprinted into the forest.

"Dahlia, go inside the dungeon. Don't come out until the fight is over" Adrian told Dahlia to hide because she was not a combatant, she had little to no combat power!

Adrian then turned as he too went into the forest to meet the thugs who were on their way to his dungeon.

"Who are we fighting?" Gobble asked Gabbie who was next to him on her wolf, both of them hiding in the foliage on the side of the path.

"He didn't say, we just need to make sure to finish the fight quickly!" Gabbie said looking at the group that was walking in front of her.

"What did the master say the signal was again?" Gobble asked to no one in particular

"Signal? Of course it's going to be him shouting attack!" One of the goblins said, not too sure of himself.

"It's going to be him making a whistling noise, shouting attack is too obvious" another countered

"Quit guessing and wait for the signal!" Gabbie snipped

"But what signal!" the goblin mumbled before sinking into silence

"Hey Goblette, ain't you afraid you are gonna break a nail in this fight?" Gorbin asked, looking sideways at her.

"I don't think I will break one if I punch you in the face. Do you want to test it?" Goblette said as she grinned at him.

"No I agree, no need to test it" Gorbin said

"Speaking of fighting, did we try peace talks first?" Gobby asked the two as he looked at the large group in front of them not liking their odds.

"Gobby, one day you are going to learn that peace was never an option. These guys are obviously coming to attack our home!" Goblette said

"Right, if Goblette is able to ignore the fact that she is only ladylike in her off time then you need to be a wimp only in your off time!" Gorbin took a dig at Goblette causing her to turn to him with a scowl.

He grinned at her because she was unable to hit him as they were currently trying to be as stealthy as possible. The fact that they were currently whispering to one another was already risky enough.

"Peace just seems like a much better option" Gobby murmured as he looked at the thugs gripping his spear tightly in worry. He didn't know what would happen during the fight but he knew he surely wouldn't like it!
