“If there is anything I can do to make amends for my sin, please let me know...” Cos said.
“I will forgive you if you help us,” Tan said as soon as the man in front of him finished speaking. At this point, Edward and Lin knew what Tan was up to.
Cos raised his eyebrows. His face lit up.
“Really?! Are you going to give me a chance to correct my mistakes?!” he said.
“We have to clear a guild quest. If you party with us and defeat the boss selected by the system, we’re even.” Tan said sternly while Edward shook his head upon hearing what his friend had said.
Cos had a worried expression on his face. After thinking for a moment, he sighed. “Is it alright to let me party with you guys to do a guild quest?” he asked politely.
“It's okay. I'm not that serious. If you want to break your words, that’s fine though...!” Tan raised his voice as he turned to Lin. “Don’t worry, Lin. I'll be better next time. I won’t let anyone bully a ‘woman’ in front of me again."
