103: Escaping for life

The guy came to him and sit down beside him. He was angry but not on Dae Ju. He must be angry on someone else. He touched Dae Ju's hand and started scanning it.

"Why you didn't inform me sooner? I could've sent someone to save you right then!" said he.

"I am sorry Mr. Johnnie but I couldn't do anything then." Dae Ju replied slowly.

"I should've sent someone to protect you. I know, this would happen." he said with a deep voice.

"You knew it? How did you know that?" Dae Ju was surprised and tried to sit down but he couldn't and lied down again. But he was shocked by his answer.

"Um....Can you recognize them if you see them?" he asked. Here, he was playing Mr. Park's role and Dae Ju was just Dae Ju.

"Yes, I can!" Dae Ju was confident in himself.

"I am sure it was the opponent party. They warned us by it so that we got careful." Johnnie said to his man who was standing behind him. Dae Ju didn't notice him before but he noticed the big guy now.

"What? They were following me because I agreed to do the race? Not because of....Argh! I should've guessed it earlier!" he pulled his head up and said.

"Where is San-ah? Is he alright?" he asked but he got no answer since Johnnie didn't know him.

"Who?" he asked.

"San-ah! Ah! Choi San? The boy who was with me!" Dae Ju said. But he forgot that he told him to stay inside the karaoke when he came there and become the prey of those guys.

"I don't know who are you talking about but he will find him for you. I have to go now. Rest well and get well before the race. Got it?" he said those words very simple but it was a warning for Dae Ju. If he doesn't get well before the race may e he will kill him without mercy. And the huge guy who is standing behind him will stay with him always.

"F**k!" Dae Ju said with a very little sound so nobody heard him. Johnnie stood up and turned back to go from there but he stopped in the middle and came to Dae Ju.

"Help him to find those jerks who made you like this," he said very rudely and went outside.

"Great!" Dae Ju sighed and looked at the giant guy. His skin was a bit tanned. His eyes were not shown as he was wearing a sunglass. He was wearing a black suit and he has a mustache under his nose. His nose was quite big too. His lips were thick. In summation, Dae Ju never saw someone scary like him. And when he thinks that this guy will always be with him from now on, he got very worried and disappointed.

"I am really doomed!" he said and start thinking.

*What if he always follows him? Whenever he went to eat, the guy will stare at him. Whenever he will go to sleep, he will stare at him. Whenever he will go outside he will follow him. What if he wants to go washroom with him too?*

"No! This can't happen! I need to get rid of him!" Dae Ju said in his mind. Then he remembered that if this guy will follow him, he can't go to Mr. Park either.

"Ah! What should I do? How can I get rid of him?" he started to thinking of getting a way. Suddenly he sat down in a rush.

"Sir! You need to lie down." the giant guy said.

"I need to go to the washroom," he said shortly. He doesn't like to keep a bodyguard. As he was an idol he needs to keep guards with him. But he used to go alone by deceiving their eyes so that they can't able to follow him.

"Okay, I'll wait for you outside," he said. Though he has a giant body, his voice was not that deep. Dae Ju slowly went to the restroom. He opened the pipe which was connected with his wrist. He has pain in his whole body but he wasn't concerned about it. He was just finding a way to escape from here. He went inside and searching for a way. But there was no way to get out from there. Suddenly he got an idea. He came outside in a rush. He was scared of something. He nearly shouted and came outside.

"Save me! Save me!" he was screaming like that while running to the outside. All the pain in his body went away. Though he has many marks on his face, neck and hands, he was feeling energetic suddenly.

"What happened?" the giant guy was surprised and asked. "C-c-c-cok-k-kro-oach!" he shouted and acted like he was scared.

"Where? Where is it?" the guy went inside the washroom and asked him.

"That way." Dae Ju was pointing at the inside and tell him to go deeper. The guy has to take his order as it was his duty. He has to save Dae Ju from every danger that's why he responded to him as soon as he screamed.

"It's that way. Did you see it?" Dae Ju asked and went to the door. He was pointing at a corner and seeing him the guy looked at the other way. Actually, Dae Ju wanted him to look at that way so that he can slowly grab the door and shut it.

After closing the door, he nearly ran out from there. He didn't even ask anyone if he can go home or not. He came outside and took a long breath.

"Ah! I am relieved! How scary he was! I will be dead if he always stares at me like that!" he said to himself and start walking. When he noticed that his legs are not cooperating with him anymore, he stopped and looked for a taxi.

"I need to go home. Where is my phone?" he put his hand in his pocket but there was no phone. He remembered that before leaving the hospital, he didn't take his belongings.

"S**t! I forgot it! How can I go back now? Aish! Forget it! I should go home now." saying this he raised his hand to a taxi which was passing by there. The taxi stopped and took him to his destination.

He went to the police station at first. He wanted to meet Mr. Park as soon as possible. It was morning but the working hour has been started some times ago. He entered inside and saw a lady was sitting near in front of Mr. Park. She seems familiar to Dae Ju though her face wasn't seen. Mr. Park was talking with her. But his face was seen worried. Maybe the lady was very sad and he was trying to console her. Seeing him from far, Dae Ju thought, how can a man have that duality? When he trying to find out something, he became a genius one. When he catches a criminal, he became the dangerous one. When someone came to him being hopeless, he became the kindest one. That's why, Dae Ju like him very much and no matter how rude he was with him, Dae Ju never say anything to him. Dae Ju came to them but he forgot about his condition.

"There he is! I told you, he will be fine and he will come back!" he said to the lady. Dae Ju was surprised because he has no idea what was going on and seeing him, why he felt relieved. The lady who was sitting on the opposite chair looked at Dae Ju. The lady was nobody else but Lina.

"Where were you? Why you didn't pick up my calls?" she stood up.

"What happened to you?" she asked by noticing the red and cut marks on his face.

"Ah! It's critical!" he said and smiled. Mr. Park also looked at him and noticed his poor face. His hair was messy and his shirt has been torn.

"Rumi-sshi! Sit down!" Detective Park ordered. Dae Ju looked at Lina. Her eyes were full of tears. But he couldn't say her anything. He sat down like an obedient boy.

"Tell me what happened." Mr. Park was curious so he came to him and asked. Lina also took a seat to hear him.

"I.....Uh....Is that necessary?" Dae Ju was hesitating to say the truth.

"You shouldn't hide anything from me!" detective Park said with a louder voice. He pointed at Lina with his eyes. Detective Park understands what he was trying to say.

"Lina-sshi! I am sorry but can we talk privately?" he said.

"Why? Is there any problem? Tell me! I won't do anything." said Lina.

"Please wait outside. I will inform you if anything went wrong." Mr. Park said. Lina didn't insist much and she gets up and went far from there.

"Now tell me," said Mr. Park and get ready to hear him.

"You was right. They are not going for just race. There is a team with nine members. All of them are quite young. They are all orphans. Two of them are minors. They are going to bring the powder drugs. They are very costly. One pack contains 10 grams. And the price of one pack is 1 million won." said Dae Ju. I know all of this.

"I don't want to listen to these things. I wanted to listen who has done this to you," said Mr. Park.

"You know all of this? How? I didn't tell you!" Dae Ju was surprised.

"You sent the messages yesterday!" he said.

"I sent them? No! I....Ah! Someone found it!" Dae Ju got a big shock. He remembered that he was nearly sent the messages but he couldn't as he has to fight to the young boys. He just needs to tap one button but at the right time the boys started to tease Choi San and he went to save him.

"Maybe I pressed the button!" Dae Ju smiled.

"What are you talking about?" asked Mr. Park.

"Can you track the watch?" Dae Ju asked.

"Yes, of course! But why?" Mr. Park was curious and he looked at Dae Ju with doubtful eyes.

"Ah! I lost it!" Dae Ju starts to laugh to cover himself.

"What? What did you just say? You lost it? How can you lost it! And you are laughing right now? Aish!" Mr. Park was quite angry with him.

"I don't know when but I lost it and when I go to search it, I have been preyed on by those goons." Dae Ju said.

"Goons! Why they attack you?" He looked more curious. Dae Ju said his history from the beginning and Mr. Park understand him.

"Oh! Then, Johnnie was the one who came to save you! Whoah! You are blessed!" Mr. Park said to tease him.

"Don't make fun of me! Aish! I wonder how I call him!" Dae Ju was confused too.

"Please, don't tell her anything. If she knows that I have been attacked for the race she will not let me go." Dae Ju nearly begged to him.

"Okay, but it would be right to you if you don't take part. What if they follow you again and maybe they will it spare you alive this time." Mr. Park was thinking seriously while he said that.

"No! I have to! I have to know the truth. If I win, he said that he will give me the truth. There's something that I need to know. Maybe I can find it from him." Dae Ju was serious too.

"As your wish. Then I have to keep an eye on you so that nobody can harm you till the race." Mr. Park said.

"How?" Dae Ju was curious. Mr. Park was doing something under his table. Maybe he opened his drawer to check something.

"Come here!" he pointed at Dae Ju with his hand.

"What?" Dae Ju was curious so he goes near to him. Mr. Park slaps the backside of the neck.

"Ah! What are you doing?" Dae Ju was astonished and by getting hurt he asked.

"I put a tracker on you. With this device, I can hear what you are saying, I can see what you are doing and of course where you are going. It's like a mosquito so nobody can see it behind your hair. I am thankful that you have big hair."

"Aish! I forgot to cut them! But, seriously? You are gonna stalking me? How could you do that?" he said being surprised and sad.

"Hey! I don't have any wish to follow you! I am just doing this for your safety! And what else can I do? I gave you a watch and you lost it. You list your phone too! But you can't lose your body. So, I have no other choice!" Mr. Park was angry with him. But he was true so Dae Ju couldn't reply to him. But, Dae Ju starts thinking the last sentence of Mr. Park. Can't he lost this body? He can, right? Suddenly he has no idea and he became worried about his future.
