"Ahem! Since the explosion has dispersed, no need to stay inside the barrier." The old man coughed out and snapped his finger. The golden barrier disappeared.
When it disappeared, Tyler directly landed on his foot even though he was sitting inside the golden barrier.
The woman also landed on her feet. She took out a ring from her index finger and extended her hand.
"There are a total of thirty thousand High-Level Energy Crystals. One High-Level Energy Crystal is equal to a hundred middle-level energy crystals and one middle-level energy crystal is equal to a hundred low-level energy crystals."
"Normally, we keep High-Level Energy Crystals for emergencies but since I can't take out so many low-level energy crystals at once, I am using the High-Level Energy Crystals."
Hearing her words, Tyler turned his head at the old man. The old man nodded his head. Tyler took out the key from his spatial ring. It was a bronze key. It was big and long.
He passed the key to her and took the ring. After that, he extended his hand. The woman was surprised by his gesture.
'He truly doesn't care about one's realm. Neither afraid of death nor likes to get surpassed. Either become good friends with him or have no relationship at all. Otherwise, only death and destruction await you.'
Thinking about it, the woman slowly smiled and extended her hand. They shook each other hands and Tyler whispered.
"Although I am not from your guild if no one manages to even cross the first trial, you can give me a call. I will only take a few rewards and give everything else to you."
Hearing his words, the woman gave him a strange look on her face. Then, she burst into laughter.
"Hahaha! Just how weak do you think our younger generations are?"
The woman shook her head. She raised her finger and touched his left chest.
"The only reason why you managed to cross the fifth trial was that you weren't afraid of death. Of course, talent, hard work, and luck are all part of the equation but when it comes to crossing that trial, you need the heart of steel."
"When a genius from our guild or other big families goes to the Ember Hall, he would be strictly reminded not to go over the limits because ninety-nine percent of that would result in death."
"Do you know why? It's not because they are weak but rather when they face death, they get afraid and lose everything. If two of us had been afraid of death even for a moment, some of the people here would've been dead or seriously injured."
"We aren't afraid of death because we trust in our strength and years of experience while your situation seems quite different. You do not seem to treat death like us."
"Almost like life and death have lost their meaning in front of you. Of course, if it was because of that explosion, I would've said that you were bragging. But, after that explosion, I can be sure that you don't really care about your life and death."
"But right now, those geniuses have gone through a lot of life and death experiences and they are ready to challenge the Solar System Stage."
Hearing his words, Tyler was a bit surprised. He suddenly remembered the point where he bet everything on a reckless idea. At that moment, he almost forgot that he could die at any moment.
He didn't know why that happened. But, he believed that it was related to the simulator. After all, he had died quite a lot of time inside the simulator.
When he thought of that, his expression turned serious.
'No, I can't let the simulator control my life. The life inside the simulator and the life outside the simulator are two distinct lives. I must live them separately.'
Tyler took a deep breath and nodded his head. He turned around and walked away while shaking his hand. He didn't care about being escorted by the Holy Sanctum.
Or rather, he wanted to run away before the Holy Sanctum could ask him for payment to repair this base.
"Sir, shouldn't we force him to pay for the damage?" Silan walked next to the old man and asked.
Hearing his words, the old man rolled his eyes and said.
"Keep an eye on that madman. Try to keep our people's distance from him. And, also ask him to enter the Rifts frequently especially now when he is still at Energy Refinement Realm. Also, ask troy to manage the security for his family."
Silan nodded his head and turned around.
During this time, Tyler was already running towards his home. Due to his new strength, it was taking a lot less time. On the road, Tyler kept contemplating his bloodline.
'Currently, I have no means to stop it. But, thankfully, it seems like I can change my mind completely away from it. But, there is one problem. Normally, I have fake this change.'
'It only happens naturally in front of my mother. Recently, it has been happening in front of Miao. So, I guess only the people who have my trust can see my true personality.'
'So, I guess I trust that man with red eyes. Oh shit! I forgot to ask his name.'
Tyler rubbed his head with embarrassment. He talked to that man for quite a while but he never thought of asking his name. It was truly embarrassing.
'Anyway, from now on, I guess they keep some distance from me. I guess, acting like that wasn't a waste. If I can keep enemies at bay with fear, then I should use this kind of violent method often.'
'That means said, I need to be more strategic the next time. I can't just rely on luck every single time. Anyway, once I reach the city, I must Alice before going home.'
'I should truly apologize to her and also hopefully keep up the good relationship.'
'I can't just go around making enemies. If I keep on making enemies, I should also focus on making friends.'
