Chapter 3: Cultivation

Su Yang's POV

Shrugging the thoughts from my head, I begin to start cultivating. Since I don't need a cultivation technique, all I need to do is absorb the energy from the surroundings, or in my case, the Locket of Infinity.

I try to give a mental command to the Locket of Infinity to release some energy from inside. Immediately, the density of energy in my room began to increase and basically went from 1 to 100 in few seconds. The Qi released by the Locket is concealed and no one can feel the change in Qi density nor can they use it till I allow them.

The shocking thing about this energy is that it is all pure Celestial Qi!!. A newbie might not know this but the sources of Celestial Qi were not present even in the Five Divine Heavens. The reason why Heavenly Emperor could use Celestial Qi was due to his Cultivation Technique which was part of the seven Heavenly Sublime Scriptures and could convert normal Qi to Celestial Qi.

But I don't need to use that scripture anymore since I can cultivate a more powerful energy, the Primordial Energy. Just like Celestial Qi has an advantage over normal Qi, Primordial Qi has an innate advantage over Celestial Qi and because of his physique even if someone who could cultivate Primordial Qi comes which won't happen as Primordial Qi is only created by his body by converting Celestial Qi into Primordial Qi. 

The locket also contains Normal Qi, but it doesn't have any use to me as although my body can refine the Normal Qi to Celestial Qi and then Celestial Qi to Primordial Qi. But why would I do that if I can absorb Celestial Qi directly and skip a time consuming step. 

I begin to absorb the Celestial Qi in a lotus position. My body began to crazily devour the Celestial Qi and began breaking it down and creating the Primordial Qi.

The absorption and conversion of Celestial Qi began at an incredibly ridiculous speed.

And soon enough the energy requirements for stepping into the first level of Elementary Spirt Realm were met and I broke through my mortal shackles and officially became a cultivator.

The feeling of energy running through my body was weird at first but became a good and soothing experience for me. The strength of my body also increased as my body was getting refined at the same time by the Primordial Qi.

I now understand how those cultivators could cultivate continuously for thousands of years or some for even millions of years. The feeling of getting stronger by absorbing energy is indeed addicting.

I began to cultivate once again. Within a few minutes I broke through to the second level of Elementary Spirit Realm. I am improving at a ridiculous rate, considering that my body is converting the absorbed Celestial Qi to Primordial Qi.

Seconds turned to minutes and minutes turned to hours.

[Third level Elementary Spirt Realm]...

[Fourth level Elementary Spirit Realm]...

[Fifth level Elementary Spirit Realm].....

I stop and open my eyes, it has been 3 hours since I started to cultivate and I have reached Fifth level of Elementary Spirit Realm. And with my body and Primordial Qi, I think my strength should at least be two major realms above as I am the protagonist after all.

I stand up and look outside only to see that it's evening already. I need to prepare for tomorrow as well. From the memories of Divine Heavens, I do have enough medicinal knowledge to give the most knowledgeable doctor on the Five Continents a run for his money.

"Hmm, now that I do have a bit of strength, I can start making and executing my plans. The first and foremost thing is to treat the girl who was affected with the Three Seasons Snake. Her name was Qi Yue I guess? She even managed to join the harem of the original Su Yang in the novel, but I don't want anything to do with her. I would just cure her of this and have her spread about my medicinal abilities. Hmm, I can cure her with just my Celestial Qi as it has healing properties. As for the Primordial Qi, while it is indeed better than Celestial Qi, it won't be needed at all."

"It's decided then. I will open a stall tomorrow and treat Qi Yue. She was around 12 years in the novel and it would be easy to identify her as I can sense the presence of abnormalities in someone's body."

"Should I cultivate again? If I were to cultivate all night long then I would be able to reach the peak of Elementary Spirit Realm at the very least. This is utterly cheating as with this speed I would surely be the fastest cultivator to reach all realms, even though my cultivation was supposed to be slow due to the energy cultivation or so I thought. I was indeed underestimating my physique, it's in a league of it's own, far surpassing even the Celestial Constitution the original Su Yang had."

"I think that only Dual Cultivation with any of my upper world wives would provide this much speed and that would become useless as well when I reach higher realms. Dual Cultivation would only benefit them not me, for me I would only gain pleasure and that's all I care about."

"For now I will cultivate again and the go through the library in the locket. I don't think it would be of much use for me though as I already have knowledge from Divine Heavens."

Saying so, I begin to cultivate again and damn, the feeling of becoming stronger is indeed addicting.

During cultivating, I sensed two people move in the house to the next room, they were Tang Hu and his partner. They were began Dual Cultivating, the feeling of meditating next to a room where people were having sex was weird but whatever.

After cultivating for two more hours, I fell asleep on my carpet. Thus, my first day in my new life passed successfully.
