Repeated Stupidity

Ryan thought to himself, staring at the phone screen where Jenna's number was lined up on it. His efforts this time did not bring results. He couldn't bring her back into his arms.

Of course, the calls he made many times were simply ignored. And when the woman received her call, she only responded with refusal. He didn't know how to get her back in his arms.

Impossible, obviously. And Ryan's mind was clearly a child's imagination, wishing that Santa Claus would come every Christmas Eve just to give them presents. Even though the character actually never existed in the real world.

It could be, Jenna's love was never there for him. Maybe it was just a temporary feeling, because of a situation—where Jenna was sick at the time and Ryan was the only one who was always there for her. Or actually it just happened to be there for her, because the man had indeed met her on campus for the first time, a different feeling arose.
