Chapter 16: What Are You Doing Here?
Gigi needed to organize her life. She felt guilty for not doing anything at all for almost a whole week. She deserved to have a rest, of course, but she did not want to spend her other two months of free time lying in bed, so she decided to find a part-time job. She had one in LA that she liked so much and even though she did not think she was going to find another one as good as that one, she decided to try.
Back in LA, she worked as an assistant in a shop. She loved seeing how clients turned new looks thanks to her recommendations or when they gave her extra tips for the attention, she felt like she was more than at home when she was working surrounded by clothes. And also, the extra money gave her a little bit more economic freedom, something she craved.
