Chapter 31: Flashback
'I have a million missed calls by Liz' she thought. But it was pretty obvious, she had been avoiding her girlfriend for days ever since she saw her openly flirting with that other girl in that coffee shop. She closed her bags and took them into the car while she was crying her eyes out, she almost couldn't get out of bed that morning and her mom and dad had been helping her a lot.
Yes, she was being selfish by leaving Illinois, but it was also an act of self-love. She couldn't deal with goodbyes and knew that if Liz asked her to stay, she was going to stay forever, or worse if she made it to LA and Liz would ask her, she was going to come back just to be with her. She just couldn't risk fashion school for childhood love. Nope. But it still hurt a lot, she could almost feel her heart ripping apart.
