Chapter 27: Can I See You Again?

I woke up to see Fairy Liz beside me. Wait, what?!.. How does it happen? All I know Fairy Liz already die in the Forest de Gilder then why this?

Fairy Liz took a glance at me then she returns her gaze to the man ahead of her. I look at the man who's now patiently looking at Fairy Liz too. The man smiles and offered a hand to Fairy Liz which she gladly accepts it and they walk together in a peaceful place, I don't know why I should see this but the way they both look at each other it seems that they're in love. And why I should know their love story? I was about to get up when I notice that I can't move my body but why? My body remains still where am I so, I tried to move but there's nothing happened. I looked at both of them and the man kissed her and it vanished in the air, Fairy Liz seems so worried about this man. Then she turn her gaze to me, I felt slightly frightened I think she can saw me. I look to my back, to both sides but there's no one to be found. It's just only me sitting here beside the tree. Fairy Liz returned to where her seat, and I heard her talking to me.

"I can see you, Philip. How are you?" She said.

"Where am I? And who's the man you're talking to earlier?" I asked. Fairy Liz smiled and look where the man vanished.

"He was your grandfather. And he's in your age that time." She said. I was shocked by what she said. I look at her in confusion because all I know is that my grandfather was dead and now I can see him? I also met him in his teenage age, what's going on??

"I knew you were confused but don't think too much. This is Pandora's Timeline which you can go back through past, present, and future. It only happens when you are dreaming added by Teleportation. But you can't change the past the present and the future can change if you saw their fates, whether they change it or not. This is how your dream works, how you have seen nightmares, and how you have seen many fortunes that leads into your dreams. It may be sound difficult for you but to make this short and easy to understand, you can come and back from past, present and future through dreaming. " Sapphire said.

"I only know is I can see only others fortunes, their futures. But I can't see my future. I know that you already warned about it but it gives me confused." I said. "Wait, if that's only I can see through my ability then how does it happen my friends got powers from me? I only did was to imagine them getting powers and then boom! They're now superheroes. You said that I shouldn't change someone's fate then how does it happen?" I added.

"What you did is another form of your ability which is "Imaginations" you dream them to be heroes just like how you fantasize heroes in your imagination. Unfortunately, those heroes you were fantasizing about were made by their creators, while you fantasize your friends to become one of them. Which leads them to the imagination. You haven't realized it don't you?" She replied and asked me about my ability. Then Fairy Liz slightly flutters her hand in the air that causes us to went to another dimension which is I seen myself from being a little boy.

"Sometimes dreaming only works at night, but sometimes it can work in daylight that is what you called daydreaming. It only works when you imagine a series of thoughts and fantasizing about someone, something that is not possible, something that is created by you. But when it comes to dreaming, you can imagine that they existed, that the impossible can be possible. That is where your ability starts to grow." She said. About the little boy who got mad at another boy because they're bullying him that time. My eyes grew wider when I saw how the other boy suffered in pain.

"Your ability starts to grow when you were a kid, you did imagine to suffer another child in pain by putting emotions in your imagination. You must be thinking how can he suffer just to get revenge and when the right time comes you haven't notice that your emotional state put anger into your ability which makes him more suffer in pain without doing anything." She added.

The boy starts running in fear after what I did to him. I was shocked and I remembered my past because of this. I look at Fairy Liz then asked.

"But how does it happen when I and my friends on our camping trip didn't happen what exactly I dream about it. How do those tribes not work? I mean, how did my nightmare did not come true? All other nightmares I dream came true then why this is not?"

"That is what we called memory, it seems that you are recalling about tribes. That is because you watched that kind of image or show that looks so unreal. Do you still remember before you fell asleep, you are watching that show? It may be your nightmares but sometimes even watching a series of images you can replay it by your thoughts which can lead to memory you just replayed what happens in the story like you are watching with a little summary and editing a video clip. Not all story detailed by details we can recall if we watched it one time only... But there's a series of incidents that can be missing and added to the story" She said.

"Okay I get it now, then how am I supposed to change past?"

"Like I said you can't change the past but you can change the present and future. What happened in the past should stay but the present and future can change. The past and future are connected to the present. What is in your ability? In the past it already happens without realization, it should no longer be existing, in the present is what is happening now, and in the future what will happen. There's a difference in the past, present, and future. All you need to do is to make a move to change other's destiny, which is what you always do in your timeline." She said. And then she waves her hand again and now we're here in the peaceful place which makes me calm my body. The smell of the fresh air, how the sound of the animals beneath us, and how the water splashed on the sand. It was so peaceful that you almost want to live here forever.

Later on, the man appeared suddenly in our position he's now looking at me. If I am right.

"Hey who are you? And why you're with Fairy Liz huh?" The man suddenly said and pointed at me.

"U-umm... Philip, Philip is my name sir, and I was asking someth-" I said nervously. Then he burst into a laugh. I stop for what I was supposed to say. Did I say something that makes him laugh?

"Sorry, sorry about that. I was just trying to scare you a little bit. Anyway, I know who you are. I am Lorenzo your grandfather." He said.

I'm not surprised because Fairy Liz already told me about him but I can say he's nice at his younger age. He offered his hand and I accept it, we shake like we're meeting a friend. After that, he sits next to Fairy Liz which is smiling at us. Then Lore- I mean my grandfather talked to me. "I knew you are wondering where you are right? This is the Forest de Gilder but in your case, you went here in the past which is by the use of Pandora's Timeline. That is why you met me at my younger age. I dream of this one time that I will meet you here." He said.

"I know this is our first time we met but I want you to know that someday my ability will be yours too. I want you to use our ability to change other's fates which is I did nothing to change others. I've been selfish by not helping them, I can't help them because I'd make a mistake which I have seen my future that I should not look about it. Our ability has an exemption, once you have seen your future it will put you into death. That is why I knew when will I die, you should not look what is your destiny at any cost, or else everything will fall apart." He said, then look at me with a sad face. "I may not be around but I want you to know that if you've got nightmares, fight back don't be afraid because in every fight you can learn to stand by yourself and be strong to handle any kind of situation. And I want you to know even if I'm not here anymore, I will always guide you wherever you go. I am so proud of you my grandson. Cherished every moment with your friends and your new family. I will help you fight nightmares if needed, I will never leave your side." He said.

After that I woke up, looking at my ceiling. I stared up for a moment of silence and realized that it was no a nightmare, it was a good dream. I felt so enlightened, I silently prayed and thanked my grandfather wherein the heavens, and I hope I can you again in my dream grandpa.
