As the red strings gathered on Kaylus palms it suddenly spread and covered the entire body of Kaylus!

Suddenly a bright red light emitted from Kaylus's body and all the red string disappeared as a blood red robe appeared on his body as his hair turned white

Seeing this Asmodues widened his eyes before--

"...Ha…Hahah…Hahahahahaa!" Laughing Asmodues covered his eyes with his palm as he said "I see I see I see! So this is your true form! You're also a devil I see!"

Kaylus didn't replied but only stared at him indifferently

Asmodues kept laughing and Kaylus raised his finger and with a flick Asmodues's other arm was cut off!

"Ah…?" Asmodues felt like time had stopped and when he realized what happened he screamed in pain while covering his cut off arm

As blood dripped from the corner of his lips Asmodues suddenly looked at Kaylus with paranoid eyes as he said "Oi oi oi! I wasn't expecting such a dirty attack from you!" as he said that he suddenly peirced his cut off arm as his fingers entered his flesh!

Suddenly the moment he felt something he curled up his lips and he pulled out his hand from his cut off arm

Opening his palm it was seen that there was red strings in it!

Asmodues smiled even more sadistically as he said "From the start we talked you implanted some of the red strings in my arm so that you could easily control me like a puppet, right?" he spoke the last word in a heavy tone

Kaylus remained indifferent and raised both his hands as more red strings appeared

Asmodues smirked and suddenly his cut off arm suddenly the flesh started to deform and what appeared was a new arm!

Asmodues sighed as he stretched out the new arm and said "I guess it's time to get serious now ay?"

This time suddenly Kaylus smiled and said "Sure"

As Kaylus kept walking forward his surroundings begun breaking and collapsing

Asmodues smiled and in a blink of an eye he disappeared and appeared above Kaylus

Kaylus did not move and Asmodues sensed something was wrong and immedietly backed away and just as he expected there were more strings above Kaylus's head!

"Tsk" Asmodues clicked his tongue dissatisfied and said "Why don't you fight with me fairly?"

Kaylus remained indifferent and asked "Do you think I'm a fool to do so?"

Asmodues frowned this time and he stood up straight as he looked above and muttered "I guess it's time to us this"

Frowning Kaylus sensed something wrong and raised his vigilance

Suddenly Asmodues robe started fluttering in air as his hair swayed

Asmodues eyes suddenly turned black as his teeth turned into a sharp fangs!

Smiling Asmodues heaved a sigh as he said "Ahh…that feels much more better!"

Suddenly just like before Asmodues disappeared but this time appeared before Kaylus

Kaylus was startled and raised his red strings but Asmodues just ignored it and aimed his claws at Kaylus

This time the red strings did not cut Asmodues but instead the red strings were the one that was cut off!

Boom!

"Keugh!"

Kaylus was back as his chest had hole in it!

Seeing him easily defeated Asmodues wasn't surprised and said "Pitiful, you couldn't even withstand one attack from this form of mine"

Just as he heaved a sigh and was about to turn around suddenly--

--He coughed out a mouthful of blood

Looking at his chest he saw that there was an 'x' red line and immediately knew what happened

Laughing he looked back at Kaylus and said "I see, so you're not done yet huh?"

This time Kaylus spoke and laughed as he said "Ofcourse I'm not, you idiot"

The hole in Kaylus chest suddenly suddenly deformed as the blood inside his body stitched up on it's own until there was no more hole only flesh

Staggeringly Kaylus stood up and said "I'm not done yet until you're killed, Asmodues"

Amsdoues laughed and said "Good good, very good, I'm liking you even more!"

Just as Asmodues dashed towards Kaylus unbeknownst to him Kaylus smirked and raised his head towards him as suddenly he opened his robe!

Asmdoues suddenly flinched and wanted to stop but was too late!

Underneath Kaylus robe was full of bomb that he himself created, he called it The Devil Killer

Ofcourse this also means, he will die too

But even so, this never wavered him and he instead smiled as he thought 'Looks like I'm finally free'

'Although I would like to stay a little longer here with everyone else but, I guess that's not just possible'

'In the end, I guess I'll still be meeting up with the others, Light, Azrail, Eru, and L, please wait for me in the afterlife'

As the surroundings broke where nothing could be seen Asmodues distorted body crawled as he thought 'Damn it damn it! That brat almost killed me!'

'Who would've thought that he is a suicidal maniac!'

'Fortunately I survived through sheer luck!'

Just as Asmodues was cursing he saw that there was no trace of Kaylus dead body only a pile of blood

He suddenly laughed but coughed out a mouthful of blood as he thought 'In the end, it's still my win'

Just as he crawled suddenly the pool of Kaylus blood suddenly emerged and red strings dashed towards Asmodues!

Widening his eyes Asmodues couldn't move and thought 'What--'

Shkk!

As the red strings pierced his body Asmodues was left shocked as he thought 'No way, that's impossible, how could--!'

Suddenly he thought of something and thought 'No way! Don't tell me, those strings have a life of their own!'

More red strings suddenly appeared and all dashed towards Asmodues

Shkk!

As Asmodues fell to the ground his last thoughts were 'Impossible, I lost to a human…' before he finally died.

Waking up Nouvel slowly opened his heavy eyelids and saw only a dark sky surrounded by mist

"You're finally awake, Nouvel"

Hearing a familiar voice Nouvel turned his head and saw Caesar but suddenly Nouvel widened his eyes

He saw the child and another person behind Caesar

Sitting up abruptly Nouvel's head ached and he groaned in pain

"Hey be carefull! Don't force yourself" Caesar growled

Nouvel was reluctant but still nodded

He then asked "Who is that guy?" he asked pointing at the other person with his eyes

Caesar frowned and said "He said his name is Kyle, he also said that he is a friend of L before we even met her"

Nouvel frowned and examined Kyle from head to toe

Finally after a long time he sighed and asked "What happened?"

Caesar explained to him patiently everything that happened, when he gone berserk and when Kyle left him unconscious

Hearing this Nouvel frowned as he rubbed is eyebrows and thought 'I went rampage again…'

That's when he remembered that the child knew about his regression and immediately became hostile

Other than L no one else knew about his regression

Standing up he walked towards the child but was stopped by Kyle

Nouvel frowned and said "Move" but Kyle only smirked and said "What if I don't want to?"

Nouvel growled and held the hilt of sword tightly

Just as a fight was about to start the child suddenly spoke and said "I don't know"

Everyone's attention turned to him in an instant and they asked "What?"

The child clutched his own hand and said "I don't know how I knew about your regression, all I know is the voice told me"

"Voice?"

Just as they were about to ask the surroundings suddenly changed as they heard a familiar mechanical voice

Hearing this Caesar and Nouvel looked at each other as they both nodded at the same time

Just as they were about to disappear Kyle suddenly spoke and said "Hey!"

They both turned their heads towards him and Kyle said "Tell L for me that she's welcome for saving her companions"

Just as Caesar was about to retort the scene infront of them changed and they were inside a broken building

Caesar and Nouvel looked around but froze when they saw that the child was still with them! Kyle disappeared but the child didn't!

"Nouvel, Caesar!"

Hearing the familiar voices they turned to see Yuki and Yukio running towards them panting heavily

Just then they noticed something was wrong and asked "Where are the others…?"

"They shoud be also here now, unless…"

Suddenly Yuki collapsed on her knees as she started crying

"No way, don't tell me…"

"They're dead….?"
