As the afternoon passed by, Risha found herself fully immersed in her work, her mind focused and her fingers flying across the keyboard as she made progress on her assignments. Despite the distractions and challenges of the world outside, she was able to find a sense of peace and purpose within the confines of her home.
Suddenly, there was a knock at the door. Risha's heart skipped a beat as she wondered who it could be. She cautiously made her way to the door and peered out through the peephole. She was surprised to see a black box sitting on the doorstep.
Without hesitation, Risha opened the door and picked up the box. It was surprisingly light, and she didn't have to use both hands to carry it inside. She set it down on the coffee table and took a closer look. There were no markings or labels on the outside just a smooth, shiny surface that reflected her curious face back at her.
Curious, Risha lifted the lid of the box and peered inside. She was greeted by the sight of a single black rose, its petals glistening in the light. Beside it was a piece of paper, folded in half and sealed with a drop of red wax.
Risha's hands trembled as she reached for the letter. She knew deep down that it was from the man who had been stalking her, the one who had threatened her life and left her feeling constantly on edge. She steeled herself and broke the seal, unfolding the paper to reveal a message written in red ink.
"Hey little bird," it read. "Do you think I would lose you with that little trick of yours? I'm always one step ahead, watching your every move. You can't escape me, no matter how hard you try."
Risha's heart raced as she read the chilling words. She knew she had to find a way to escape this man's grasp, no matter the cost. She looked out the window, her eyes scanning the empty streets for any sign of him. She knew it was only a matter of time before he came for her again, and she had to be ready to face whatever consequences lay ahead.
