Dragon Devourer System

Note: The main character is male. The novel is written in 3rd person. I never could guess life would be this terrifying. In the past, I was a high-ranked adventurer looking for riches and fame, fulfilling every request of the Adventurer's Guild and gaining a substantial prestige. I still remember the old legends from my hometown, the legends of dragons, absolute beings who even the gods fear. And now, it seems I somehow got reincarnated into a dragon. ------------------------------------------------------------- The artwork does not belong to me and if anyone knows the artists of this work, please let me know and I will credit them. A Prophecy

"Who goes there?!" For the first time in ages, Old Dragon released a cry, using a portion of his power to bolster his words. His enormous scaled face was filled with panic and fear, but his eyes had a hint of violence.

"Me? I own the land on which you are standing, old fart. I am both the beginning and the end of an Era. Even if my name became a forbidden word and they destroyed everything I built, my name shall not get forgotten for the rest of eternity.

"My name is Ella. I am The Temple's most favored disciple, the Empress of the most powerful Empire, and the Impaler of Gods."

The silver dragon's face turned white after hearing the words spoken by the ancient and powerful voice, while Jacob nearly pissed on himself. He could clearly remember what Old Dragon had told him about the Abyss being the Impaler of Gods' grave.

'Does the voice belong to the same being who died in this place? How the f*ck is this even possible? Was not the Impaler of Gods already dead?' Was Jacob's constant thoughts the entire time, as he drew a correlation between the Impaler of Gods and the odd System's Alerts he received just a few moments ago.

What he did not realize was that similar thoughts were running through the silver dragon's head. The Old Dragon became even more stunned, as he could also sense the extent of the stranger's power.

Her aura caused his scales to lose their sharp luster and his claws to resemble simple knives.

Absolute fear descended into the palace, the only one breathing normally the little female dragon, who kept yelling and complaining because the ugly silver dragon still had her in his claws. She wished for his death to happen soon so she could be free once more.

At this terrifying and sensitive moment, a silver door behind the crystal throne, which could not be easily seen unless you already knew it was there, opened with a loud bang. A tall and beautiful woman emerged from the door, exuding a terrifying, supreme aura.

She was dressed in a very revealing purple gown that exposed her white skin and emphasized her sensual curves. She had the body of a goddess of beauty and lust, with the right amount of fat only in the right places.

Her long legs roused Jacob's lust for the first time since his rebirth, causing all the blood in his dragon's body to rush toward his head and another place. When he looked above her legs, he felt as if his nose was going to start bleeding at any moment.

However, her hips paled in comparison to her chest, where her provocative gown exposed a large portion of her long and large breasts. As if that was not enough to pique his interest, her face appeared to have been sculpted by the gods.

A delicate and beautiful face, with thick sensual lips, long orange eyes and a large mane of white hair made every part of her expressions feel stimulating and flawless.

It made him want to propose marriage to her right then and there. He felt she was the epitome of beauty, as if no other woman in the world could compete with her in terms of beauty.

While the little white dragon was absorbed with her physical appearance, cherishing every single part of her body, Old Dragon was trembling beside him. The Dragonson Clan had many ancient legacies and treasures, and he was reminded of one at this time.

When Old Dragon was a young dragon hundreds of years ago, his father left for a business trip, and he discovered a hidden metallic door in his father's cave. It was guarded by a Bloodline Spell, a spell that could activate different spells depending on the Bloodline received.

He was a young fool at the time, and not realizing the disastrous consequences of triggering any of the thief-class spells, he attempted to open the door by giving it a drop of his blood.

Fortunately for him, the door opened, and it was the reason he was still alive today. After the door opened, he found himself in a small room full of treasures. Gold and silver shone everywhere, but strangely, what most drew his attention was a small piece of paper.

In the paper, a divinely beautiful female of the human race posed in front of a gigantic wall, which was oddly golden in color and filled with impaled bodies. What intrigued him even more mysterious was the small inscription that stood in a corner.

Years later, he steeled himself and told the truth to his father. Initially, his father was taken aback when he learned that his son had entered his personal treasure room. However, when his son inquired about the ancient work of art, his face became solemn.

His father explained to him who the human woman was, and made him make a vow to keep the small inscription a secret, never to say or write, as otherwise a calamity would befall the clan.

At this moment, the Old Dragon had remembered the small inscription.

"The Heavens' wrath, which the Empire threatens. A dragon's roar, a defeated army, and a lost spear. The Empress, give us your blessing, allow us to rise again. As Eternity shall not forget you, and the Divine is fated to perish."

His father explained that this was a prophecy talking about the return of the Impaler of Gods, divined by the Saintess Dragon a hundred thousands years ago. It caused such a commotion among the dragon clans that almost a war broke out.

The clans were split between destroying the prophecy, claiming it was blasphemy against their own Gods, and keeping it to prepare for the future. At the end, the Saintess Dragon intervened, concealing the prophecy within her own body.

When she married the Dragonson Clan, the clan hid the prophecy with Silver Elder, one of the clan's most powerful experts. This resulted in a small silver dragon discovering the hidden prophecy in a work of art.

And now, in front of the Old Dragon, stood the same human woman he had seen hundreds of years before, radiating an oppressive aura that caused his bones to crack with excruciating pain. But he could only think of a single thing: the prophecy had become true.

The Impaler of Gods has returned.
