The Mad King

Later on through the night, Goten and Bulla walk out of the movie theater after watching Mr. Satan's new movie about his life, including his "victories" against Cell and the Demon God.

"Wow, that was terrible." Bulla says.

Goten chuckles.

"I don't know, I kinda liked it." Goten says.

Bulla is confused.

"You seriously don't mind that he's taking credit for you beating Demigra?" Bulla asks.

Goten smiles rubbing the back of his head.

"No, not really. To be honest, I'm kinda glad he did, I'm not interested in all the attention I would've gotten."

"I guess that makes sense. I've been meaning to ask, graduation is coming up, any idea on what you're gonna do after high school?"

Goten smiles.

"I'll probably start farming so I can help my mom out. My grandpa's money is running out so I don't mind working to make some money." Goten says.

Bulla looks at Goten for a moment, noticing how pure and genuine he is, smiling while laying her head on his arm.

"You're a pretty good guy, you know that?" Bulla says.

Goten smiles, enjoying Bulla resting her head against him. Meanwhile, a shadowy figure watches them from a distance. As the date goes on, Goten and Bulla walk through the city, grab some burgers, then they get ice cream and continue to walk through the city. While they talk and laugh, Goten then senses something from a distance. Bulla then notices the look on his face.

"Is everything alright, Goten?" Bulla asks.

At that moment, a Ki blast is fired at them.

"Bulla, move!" Goten says.

The two drop their ice cream cones and quickly move out of the way of the ki blast, grabbing all the pedestrians nearby, moving them out of the way. Goten then looks up and sees someone flying up in the air over them.

"Bulla, stay here and watch over them. I'll take care of this guy." Goten says.

"Ok. Becareful." Bulla says.

Goten nods, loosening his tie, and flying up into the air to confront the dark individual who fired the ki blast.

"So- You gonna tell me who you are?" Goten asks with a serious expression on his face.

The mysterious figure laughs, coming out of the shadows to reveal King Piccolo, one of Goku's oldest foes from when he was a kid. Goten is confused by the sight of him, wondering what another Namekian is doing on earth and why is he attacking.

"Finally, I get to have my revenge on you, Son Goku. That's right, King Piccolo has returned!" King Piccolo says, laughing devilishly.

Goten is still confused by this.

"Ok, I don't know who you are, but I'm not Son Goku, he's already dead. I'm his son, Goten. Hi."

King Piccolo is surprised by this, but doesn't change his plans.

"Well- I suppose killing his offspring will be enough for my vengeance." King Piccolo says.

Goten smirks.

"Yeah, I don't see that happening."

The young Saiyan then uses a Shockwave to send the mad King flying, and chases after him while Bulla watches from the sidelines. In a wasteland away from the city, King Piccolo struggles to stop himself in the air while Goten flies infront of him.

"I'll tell you right now, this won't go the way you think. I'll give you one last chance to walk away." Goten says.

King Piccolo grits his teeth and charges at Goten, fueled by anger.

"DIE!" He yells.

Goten sighs.

"Guess that's a no." Goten says, preparing to fight.

King Piccolo throws multiple strikes, but they are easily avoided by Goten. The young Saiyan dodges another punch, then lands one of his own into King Piccolo's stomach, stunning him. The evil Namekian eyes widen, his body trembles, and as he clutches his stomach, he drops to a knee.

"How is this possible!? How can this boy defeat me so easily!?"

King Piccolo then fully drops face down to the ground, knocked out as Goten takes a deep breath.

"Well, that was easy." Goten says.

Bulla soon shows up, flying towards him.

"Hey, are you alright?" Bulla asks.

Goten smiles.

"Yeah, I'm fine. I do have a lot of questions though." Goten says.

Bulla looks at King Piccolo, confused.

"Is that a Namekian?" She asks.

"Yeah. An evil one at that. He said he wanted to kill my dad, but didn't even know he was already dead." Goten says.

"So what do we do now?" Bulla asks.

Goten thinks for a moment.

"We gotta go to the lookout."

Bulla sighs.

"I guess we're not finishing our date, are we?" Bulla asks.

Goten smiles.

"We will. Later." Goten says.

Bulla smiles and the two fly off towards the lookout.

Later on Goten, Bulla, Piccolo, Gohan, and Dende all stand infront of an unconscious and tied up King Piccolo at the lookout. Piccolo looks on, extra interested at his former self.

"How is this possible? Goku defeated King Piccolo years ago, not only that he's supposedly used his remaining life, to create the Piccolo we know now, King Piccolo shouldn't even exist anymore." Dende says.

Piccolo continues to stare at King Piccolo. Goten notices this and checks on his friend.

"Hey, are you alright, big guy?" Goten asks.

Piccolo doesn't answer and walks out of the room.

Soon, Vegeta, Trunks and Bulma soon arrives on the lookout.

Bulla is confused by this for a moment.

"What are you guys doing here?" She asks.

"We got a message from Dende. So, what's going on? We'd better be fighting a worthy opponent." Vegeta says.

"Yeah, so do I." A familiar voice says

Everyone looks over and sees Goku, along with his Brother Raditz, and two unknown Saiyan's, one that looks exactly like Goku, and a woman who smiles bashfuly.

"Hi." Goku says with a big smile.

Goten and the others shocked for a moment, before Goten and Gohan quickly dashes over and hug their father.

"Dad! I missed you so much." Goten says.

Goku smiles, hugging his son's back.

"I missed you boys too. I can tell you've gotten stronger, especially you Goten." Goku says.

Gohan smiles soon fades, when he looks over and sees Raditz.

"Dad, what's he doing here?" Gohan asks with a scowl.

Raditz doesn't reply, looking down in shame.

"Hey, take it easy, Gohan. I know it's hard to believe but he's on our side, trust me." Goku says.

But Goten is confused.

"Who is he? And the guy that looks like a scary you, and the lady?" Goten asks.

Vegeta then steps foward.

"Kakarot, I have the feeling that you can explain to us what's going on." Vegeta says.

Goku then gets a serious look on his face.

"Yeah, I can. This'll take a minute so everyone pay attention." Goku says.
