The Death of...

As school let's out, while Bulla and Trunks bicker about something, Goten has a bad feeling that confuses him. Bulla notices somethings wrong with the young Saiyan and she puts her hand on his shoulder.

"Goten? Is everything alright?"

Goten looks at her for a moment then smiles, ignoring the bad feeling he has.

"Yeah, I'm fine. Just daydreaming." Goten replies.

Meanwhile, back with 17, as he feeds a few of the animals with a smile on his face. In a blink of an eye, three large Ki blasts are fired at him, causing a massive explosion. 17 is able to cover most of the animals in a barrier, but not all with a few of them dieing from the explosion. 17 is angered by this, looking up and seeing the ones responsible for it and immediately flies up to confront them.

"I don't know who you guys are. And I don't care, because you're about to die." 17 tells him

Android 13 smirks.

"Oh I'm sorry, 17, Did we hurt your little forest friends?"

17 scowls at them, soon noticing the red ribbon symbol on their clothes.

"You guys are Androids. I'm assuming Dr. Gero created you three before I killed him." 17 says.

"Close. After you, 18, and Cell failed in killing Son Goku, The Brilliant Dr. Gero's computer created a failsafe. Us. We are uploaded with all the information that happened all those years ago. But what I don't know... Is what the hell you think you're doing?" 13 says with a scowl.

"What? You never heard of a day job?" 17 asks.

"Son Goku and his little friends are still alive. You two are even having- play dates with them. Did you forget why Dr. Gero created you in the first place?"

17 smirks.

"No. I just really don't care what Gero wants. I'm living my own life. And now I'm tired of hearing you talk, so I think it's time for you three to leave before I turn you into scrap metal." 17 says.

13 stares for a moment, letting out a sigh.

"14, 15. Hang back, I'm going to go a few rounds with 17 alone." 13 says.

Android 14 and 15 nod and stay back. 13 smiles, taunting 17 to come at him. 17 quickly charges at him, but gets punched in the face. 17 then throws a kick but 13 easily catches him by the ankle and throws him towards the water. 17 quickly stops himself from going into the water and fires a ki blast at 13 who's flying straight at him. 13 knocks the ki blast out of the way easily, grabs 17 by the face and slams him deep into the water, causing a big splash.

Seconds later 17, comes out of water and prepares for 13 to come out too. Android 13 then flies out of the water and straight at 17. Before 17 can even think, 13 starts to knock him around the sky. He then lands a big stomach blow and fires a ki blast into his gut, sending him flying to the ground. 17 tries to get up, but 13 stomps his head into the ground, grinding his heel into his skull with a smile on his face.

"Oh, don't tell me you're tired already, 17. The funs just started."

While that's happening, Krillin, Lazuli, and Marron are stuck in traffic.

"Well, it doesn't look like this will clear up for awhile." Krillin says.

"That's why I told you it would be so much faster to fly. We flew to visit 17, why didn't we just fly home?" Lazuli says.

"Because I bought this car, and darn it I'm gonna use it. Besides, Marron doesn't like flying." Krillin says.

At that moment, 17 is thrown at full speed into traffic, knocking some of the cars away.

"What the heck was that?" Krillin asks.

Both Krillin and Lazuli get out of the car.

"Marron, stay right here. Mommy and Daddy will be right back, ok?" Lazuli says.

Marron nods as they go to check it out. They then see 17, beaten up and broken.

"17!" Lazuli yells as they rush to his side.

Krillin slowly sits him up.

"Are you alright? What happened."

17 struggles to speak.

"You... have to... get Marron out of here. Now."

Both Krillin and Lazuli are confused, then 13 hovers above them.

"Well, well, well. If it isn't the lovely 18."

Lazuli's eyes widen as she turns around and sees three Androids above them.

"Are you the bastards that did this to my brother?" Lazuli asks.

13 smirks.

"That would be, my handy work. Just trying to remind him what he is. What all of us are. We're Androids. We're not like this pathetic humans." 13 says.

"They were created by Dr. Gero's computer. A failsafe to kill Goku." 17 says.

"But, wait a second, Goku's already dead." Krillin says.

"Nice try, short stack, we have sightings of Son Goku at the world martial arts tournament." 13 tells them.

"Look, that was a one time thing, it's not going to happen again. Goku's really dead." Krillin tells him.

"Enough of your lies! Even if Goku really is dead, that doesn't excuse these two for not killing the rest of you vermin."

Lazuli scowls.

"I chose my own path. I refuse to let Dr. Gero control my life. And my name is Lazuli, not Android 18." Lazuli says.

13 scowls at Lazuli while Krillin smiles at her. In a blink of an eye, 13 rushes at Lazuli and grabs her by the throat.

"You are nothing...but a machine, designed for destruction. You will never be one of them. You will never be... human." 13 says.

Lazuli tries to throw a punch, but 13 catches it and breaks her arm. As Lazuli screams out in pain, Krillin gets angry.

"Let go of her! Kaioken!" He yells.

He then powers up to a times ten Kaioken, charges at 13, landing a punch to the side of of his face, freeing Lazuli. Krillin goes for another punch, but 13 catches it and smiles. He then puts his hand infront of Krillins chest.

"Goodbye, Krillin." 13 says.

He fires a point blank ki blast through Krillins chest, killing him instantly. 17 and Lazuli are shocked by this.

"KRILLIN!" Lazuli screams with tears in her eyes.

Meanwhile at Capsule Corp, in the gravity room, Goten and Trunks spar while Bulla watches. At that moment, Goten pauses for a moment and turns away from Trunks, confusing him and his sister.

"Yo, what's the matter?" Trunks asks.

"Are you ok, Goten?" Bulla asks.

Goten stares off in the distance for a moment, soon realizing what just happened, his eyes widen out of shock and horror.

"Master Krillin." Goten says.

Goten immediately power's up and flies through the ceiling of Capsule Corp and takes off to the last location he felt his masters energy. Both Bulla and Trunks look up at the hole in the roof, even more confused.

"What the hell?" Trunks asks.

Bulla thinks for a moment, before flying through the ceiling.

"Come on, we have to follow him." Bulla says.

Trunks follows, unaware of the tragedy that just happened.
