Reunion

Early in the morning, Goten trains in a gravity machine given to him by Vegeta. As the machine is set to one hundred and sixty times earth's normal gravity, he does multiple one arm push ups while he's a Super Saiyan. As he works out, he thinks about the tournament and how he has to keep improving.

"Gotta keep going. Can't stop, until I'm just as strong as dad. No... stronger than him." Goten thinks for a moment.

He then flips to his feet and charges his Ki, making a bright light inside the machine.

While Goten trains, Chichi cooks breakfast while humming. Soon Goten walks into the house while he's in his Super Saiyan form.

"Good morning, mom." Goten says with a smile.

"Good morning, Go-"

When Chichi turns around and sees Goten in his Super Saiyan form, her smile soon fades and she glares at him with a dark aura around her, scarring Goten. Seconds later, Chichi starts to throw things at Goten, chasing him out of the house.

"You turn your hair back to black right now!"

Goten dodges pots and pans, a lamp, a chair and a table.

"But mom, it's for training." Goten says.

"I don't care! I will not have another son looking like a delinquent!" Chichi yells, hitting Goten in the head with a shoe.

Later on that morning, Goten is at Capsule Corp, telling Trunks and Bulla about what happened with his mom.

"Yeah, so we're probably gonna have to train at your place from now on." Goten says, rubbing the back of his head while laughing.

Trunks and Bulla chuckle.

"Yeah sure, I kinda already figured as much." Trunks replies.

Bulla jokingly punches Goten in the arm

"I don't mind having you around here." Bulla says.

While the two share a smile, Goten looks at all the suitcases in the front of the building.

"So what's with all the bags? You guys moving?" Goten asks.

"Nah, our parents are just going on a trip. Mom called it a "couple's get away" I think." Trunks says.

"Yeah, surprisingly Dad is really committing to this." Bulla says.

Vegeta then flies down, in his pink shirt.

"Hey Vegeta. Nice shirt." Goten says with a smile.

Vegeta turns around, embarrassed and angry at the comment.

"Pinks a great color on you." Goten adds.

Vegeta sighs, being reminded of Goku, taking the complement and putting the bags in the car. Bulma then comes down with a matching outfit and sunglasses.

"Welp, I'm vacation ready. I'm even taking my unemployed husband along with me. I'm such a loving wife." Bulma says.

"Hey, I'm taking a break from training. Don't make me change my mind." Vegeta says.

Bulma then kisses Vegeta on his cheek.

"Oh, sweetheart. You really think you have a choice. That's cute." Bulma says.

Vegeta's face turns red and he continues to put the bags in the car. Bulma then looks up and smiles.

"Looks like they're here." Bulma says with a smile.

Everyone looks up and sees Gohan and Vidal flying towards them, also wearing matching outfits.

"Hey everyone. We're ready to go." Gohan says.

"I didn't know you were leaving on a trip, Gohan." Goten says.

"Yep, both me and Vidal took off from work and Bulma invited us on a trip." Gohan says.

Goten smiles.

"Well that's nice." Goten says.

Bulma then gives Trunks and Bulla a hug.

"We'll be back in two weeks, grandma and grandpa are still here so if anything goes wrong they'll take care of it, and please don't blow up the house." Bulma says.

"Alright, mom." Trunks replies.

"Have a good time, mom." Bulla says.

She then turns to Goten.

"Make sure to keep Trunks out of trouble, Goten."

Goten smiles.

"Yes, ma'am." He replies.

Vegeta smirks.

"Don't think just because I'm not here, that means you two can slack off on your training. If anything, I expect you both to train extra hard while I'm away."

Both Goten and Trunks get determined.

"Right." They both say.

Gohan then puts his hand on his little brother shoulders.

"Make sure mom doesn't freak out too much." Gohan says.

Goten smiles, giving his older brother a thumbs up.

"You got it." Goten says.

Gohan and Vidal smile and the two couples soon leave to go on their trip.

"Alright! We got the whole place to ourselves. What do ya say, Goten? Wanna stay over tonight, get some training in, then play video games and eat junk food?" Trunks says.

Goten smiles, giving his friend a fist bump.

"Sounds good to me." He says.

Bulla then chimes in.

"Sounds great, but we should probably get to school before all that." Bulla says.

Trunks groans.

"Man, you're right. And I hated saying that."

The three then fly off towards school, with Goten flying on Nimbus.

Meanwhile, in a persevere area of a royal nature park, Android 17 quickly runs off a few poachers trying to kill animals. At that moment, he hears a familiar voice up in the sky.

"Hey! 17!" Krillin yells while holding Marron.

17 looks up and sees them, along with his sister Lazuli. They soon land as Marron runs over and hugs him.

"Hey, Uncle 17!" She says.

"Hey, Marron. I can't believe how big you gotten." 17 says.

He then shakes Krillins hand.

"So, how's watching out for the wildlife around here?" Krillin asks with a smile.

"It's going fine. How's putting up with my sister?" 17 asks.

Krillin nervously laughs, playing it off as a joke.

"Well, it's good to see you too, 17." Lazuli says.

17 Smirks.

"Oh, sorry. I didn't see you there."

A brief silence passes by the two Androids, leaving Krillin feeling awkward.

"Uh, hey Marron, let's go see some animals, ok?" Krillin says.

Marron smiles.

"Ok!"

Krillin puts Marron on his shoulders and they go over to the animals. Both Lazuli and 17 smile at how Krillin is with Marron.

"You know, he's probably the only human I actually like. Besides Marron, of course." 17 says.

Lazuli smiles.

"Yeah, he's definitely something special." Lazuli says.

17 then turns to his sister.

"So, what brings you guys by these parts? You wanna borrow money?" 17 asks.

"No, Krillins actually starting his job as a police officer in a few days. He'll be making all the money we need." Lazuli says.

"So what's going on?" 17 asks.

Lazuli starts to blush.

"I just- wanted to see you. That's all." Lazuli says.

17 is surprised by the answer but then smiles.

"Well- looks like becoming a mother has softened you up. Gotta say, it's a nice change of pace." 17 says.

"Oh shut up." Lazuli says.

They all soon sit around a fire, talking and laughing. They all soon walk together, but then 17 stops for a moment. Lazuli looks at him in confusion.

"What's with you?" Lazuli.

17 smiles.

"Just thinking. After Dr. Gero kidnapped us and turned us into Androids. Did you think we'd ever have lives like these? That we would ever be- happy?" 17 asks.

Lazuli thinks for a moment, then smiles.

"Honestly? No. But if I had to go through all that again to be where I am today. I'd gladly would, in a heartbeat."

17 smiles as well.

"Yeah. I get it." 17 says.

Krillin, Marron, and Lazuli soon flies away, waving bye to 17. Meanwhile, unknown to anyone, Android 13 watches 17, along with two other Androids.

"Pathetic." 13 says.
