Injustice and Poverty on Imecka

Planet Imecka, once a haven of harmony and simple pleasures, now lies under the iron grip of a tyrant. To understand how this transformation took place, one must first delve into its peaceful past, the sudden shift to oppression, and the resulting bleak present.

For centuries, Imecka was a planet renowned for its natural beauty and thriving rural life. Its civilization was largely agrarian, with vast farmlands stretching across the rolling plains. The Imeckan natives, a gentle and herbivorous species, found joy in the ordinary gifts of life—food, water, and the sun. They lived in harmony with their environment, cultivating a wide range of crops that sustained their simple, communal lifestyle.

At the heart of Imecka's prosperity was the royal family. Unlike traditional aristocracies, this family governed with a focus on collective welfare, often leading by example and participating in the daily work.

While the daytime was reserved for farming and crafting, the nights were filled with vibrant activity in the bustling merchant and commercial districts. These areas, often adorned with lanterns and lively music, became centers of commerce and culture, where farmers would sell their goods and exchange stories.

Imecka's peaceful existence came to an abrupt halt three decades ago when Glace, a ruthless alien warlord, landed on the planet. Glace was unlike any other being the Imeckans had encountered. Initially, his intentions were unclear, but his brutality quickly became evident.

The royal family was the first to fall. Glace and his men stormed their residence, tearing down its walls and executing any they found. This act of violence sent shockwaves through the planet, creating chaos and fear. Glace's power was absolute, and his ruthless nature left the Imeckans with little choice but to submit.

Glace departed after utterly ransacking Imecka, and relief efforts began and a military was formed, Imecka had learned: being lax about aliens joining them was dangerous.

However, a few weeks later, Glace returned and with a mighty fleet commanded by his friends. They destroyed all resistance, halted all relief efforts and ceased the merchant district.

Glace and his friends became the new royal family and they decided what was law. Glace's friends removed laws punishing murder or genocide.

They created a lawless state on Imecka, and the only crime that was punished was the mistreatment of any members of his royal family.

Glace's reign of terror extended to every aspect of Imecka's society. The once-communal farmlands were seized by the new regime, becoming the private property of Glace and his companions. Entry to these farmlands was strictly forbidden and although there were guards stationed to prevent entry, rumors spread that these once fertile lands had been abandoned, left to wither and decay. This sudden loss of agricultural output led to widespread food shortages and famine, deepening the despair of the Imeckans.

To maintain control, Glace implemented a brutal system of forced labor. The males, often taken from their families at a young age, were conscripted into service. Some became bodyguards or soldiers for the regime who would guard the farms, while others were forced into hard labor, building statues and monuments to glorify the new royal household. These statues, towering over the once-bustling city squares, served as constant reminders of Glace's absolute power.

The taxes of Glace's regime devastated the natives, as they were charged for every convenience. If their taxes fell short of the quota he announced, that convenience would be destroyed and the slaves would be forced into rebuilding it for his royal household.

Glace introduced deadly sports for the slaves had to compete while he and his friends would bet on them, although his friends simply used the taxes from the natives to pay.

Glace's companions also sold some of the slaves to other planets' civilizations, so his royal family never lacked for anything.

As Glace tightened his grip on Imecka, any semblance of resistance was met with extreme violence. Glace made a chilling pledge: if anyone attempted to overthrow him, he would destroy the planet entirely. To prove his capability, Glace turned his destructive power towards Imecka's satellite, shattering it into debris that rained down upon the planet. This devastating act extinguished any hope of rebellion, as the Imeckans realized that Glace's threat was not to be taken lightly.

When Glace or his companions are seen, the Imeckans bow as if to worship until they have left their midst. Glace has etched onto their minds that he isn't just a cruel ruler, but a god who won't be appeased if indignant.

Today, Imecka remains a shadow of its former self. The once-wealthy merchants have scattered, their farmlands lie desolate, and the people live in constant fear of Glace's wrath. The planet's economy is in shambles, with tiny reductions in taxes providing only the slightest relief. Despair has taken root, and Glace's regime seems unassailable.

Yet, despite the overwhelming oppression, whispers of hope still circulate among the Imeckans. Recently small groups of resistance have formed, daring to dream of a future without Glace's tyranny. These brave souls risk everything to gather information, create underground networks, and plan for the day when they might reclaim their planet. Kion, the leader of the largest clandestine resistance is steadily merging all the others to fight Glace and his companions, despite the odds of a victory being slim.

Imecka's history is a tale of loss, destruction, and injustice. The people who once lived in harmony with their environment now face unimaginable challenges.

Meanwhile, a little girl is observing the Team's interaction with the machine sellers, she speaks through a device that transmits to the Kion's resistance underground headquarters.

"Boss, I just spotted 4 strange looking aliens and one of them just created a hurricane!"

"So, you mean a person really created all that shaking from before?"

"Yes boss," she continues, "The machine sellers who we were tracking fell to the ground when that one did it."

"Ah!"

"They shot at their descending craft, it seems to have irked them."

"So, you mean..."

"Yes, boss, the sellers don't seem to know these aliens. And I ... I think these strangers can help us."

"Hmph... don't be so hasty to trust. What if they're his allies?"

"Hmmm... you're right. If so, boss, our chances of rescuing him or victory have plummeted drastically."

"Keep on their trail. Don't get spotted, ok."

Goku rubs his belly which has been growling the whole time and walks back into the spaceship.

"Guys, I need to eat. I'll be inside."

"Alright," they respond.

"Hey grandpa, leave some for me too," Pan follows him.

"Trunks, you come with me search for the fuels, ok?"

"Got it," he replies.

Yes, I've decided to give Imecka a little backstory right at the beginning. Imecka will help me accomplish one of my goals for this fanfic: tell an adventure story.

The idea of Glace vs Kion is laced in here for sure and there're more surprises coming soon. Stay tuned.

Also, please DB fans rate my fanfic, share it to friends and let's spread the word!
