Ch. 297 Visions of the future

As the second official gathering came to an end everyone except for Elric and Jade Thorn Rose went out to enjoy their last night in the city, making it to where the staff of Earth Dragon Terrace and the tea mistress did not know how to handle so many important guest with heavy coin purses. While Jade Thorn Rose wished she could join the others in the relaxed settings, as she knew that it where the real deals would be made, she knew that she had to get back to her kingdom as soon as possible.

Not only had her kingdom just had a civil war that ended with her as the ultimate victor holding the crown, she had also essential thrown her new husband into the lion's den by having him hold an open court session to ease the people's minds and allow them to get to know their new King. She had no way of knowing how it would go, and could have been a healing moment that the kingdom desperately needed, or the trigger of yet another war.
