She sat down on the forest floor with her eyes closed while channelling her vampire energy.

She did this repeatedly for three hours until she heard a "Ding " sound. Knowing what it was, she opened the system and checked the notifications.

Daily tasks.

2/3 tasks completed.

Task 1. Run a distance of 100km .

Status complete.

Task 2. Learn a new technique in hand to hand combat.

Status zero progress.

Task 3. Channel your vampire energy for 3 hours.

Status complete.

Punishment for not completing tasks will result in the host's death!.

Rewards upon completing tasks...500 Exp, +1 stat point in agility, +1 stat point in speed.

+ 1 new skill. Instant level up.

Looking at the progress so far and seeing the last task she needed to complete, she decided to head back to the castle to find Alacad, since he was the only one she could ask for pointers when it came to martial arts and hand to hand combat.

She stood up and decided to run back to the castle since she had no other way of going back, considering the distance walking back wasn't an option for her.

Closing in on the castle gates, she could see someone standing by the gate. She was obviously creating a scene, seeing how the guards were stopping her from entering into the castle. Looking closely, Elena could tell this was the same girl who tried to attack her earlier.

She stopped running for a moment, thinking of a better way to enter into the castle without being seen by the girl , elena kept brainstorming , at the end of the day, she came up with nothing.

She decided to head in anyway, afterall Alacad had asked the castle guards to treat her as his guest.

She knew they wouldn't allow any harm to come her way, and seeing the guards in front of the gate trying to stop the girl from going in, elena could tell they were way stronger than the green haired girl.

As soon as Elena got to the gate ,the green haired girl saw her and she quickly moved to hold Elena by the hands, but elena reflexes was good, she moved her hands behind her, bringing it to her back. " What do you want?" Elena asked with an annoyed tone.

The girl said in a low voice, " Can I have a word with you?" I promise I'll be quick.

After sizing her up for a while as if trying to read her mind, Elena agreed , they both walked away from the gate, at least far enough for the guards not to hear their conversation, but they could still see them.

Scratching the back of her head, she asked Elena..." Do you live in the castle? "

Noticing that the killing intent the girl had towards her before was no longer present, Elena answered truthfully.

"Yes I do, any problem?"

Ah, yes. my brother works as a low-level guard in the castle, I wanted to see him one last time before I head for the zastlevania Warriors Academy in four days' time.

My intention was to surprise him, but those guards said I couldn't go in. I was wondering if you could help me convince them." She said. The whole time, she kept her head down due to the fact that she felt embarrassed.

At the mention of zastlevania Warriors Academy, Elena's interest was on high alert. She wanted to find out more from the girl.

Elena smiled, "Seeing how you almost killed me earlier, I don't think I have any reason to help you now, do I?"

The girl was about to yell , but she remembered she still needed the help of Elena, so she swallowed whatever it was she was about to say.

Raising an eyebrow, Elena smirked.

" I'm sorry about earlier. As you can see, I'm all dressed up. When you almost bumped into me earlier, I almost lost my sanity, I wanted to look good since I'm visiting my brother for the first time.you bumping into me would have ruined my outfit. She explained. can we start all over again? Stretching out her hands for a handshake, the girl said, "The name is Lydia Felmore."

Without shaking the hands , Elena asked, "If I help you get into the castle, I'll need you to do something for me in return. Do you think you can do that? Without hesitating Lydia agreed. "Good," Elena said with a smile this time around, stretching out her own hands to shake Lydia's, the name's Elena.

They shook hands, and they both walked through the gate's together, this time , the guards said nothing.

They didn't stop Lydia like they did before when she attempted to go in alone. Lydia was surprised at how easy it was for Elena to bring her into the castle so She asked, "Mind if I ask who you're?

In response, Elena said, "I told you before, I'm Elena.

Lydia was taken aback by this response, it was either Elena was too dull to understand the real question she was trying to ask, or Elena didn't want to open up to her, in this case the first option was more like it.

Seeing the way elena had responded, dracula wanted to face palm. If only he still had his hands, that was what he would have done.

You do realise that wasn't what she was asking , Dracula's voice vibrated in her head. Only then did she realise she completely misunderstood Lydia question. She didn't care anyway.

Hnm, I'm stuck with a dimwit, pathetic, just pathetic. Dracula kept complaining.

She ignored his taunts as usual. She had way more important things to worry about than to quarrel with a grumpy old guy,whose existence was still a mystery to her.

Now that we are inside the castle walls, before you go off to find your brother, I have something to ask you.

Being grateful to Elena ,Lydia was very eager to answer all of Elena's questions.

"First, I want you to tell me all about the warriors academy." Elena said.

" Are you not from around here or something? Like even a newborn vampire already has knowledge about the zastlevania Warriors academy. Lydia said.

Where I am from doesn't matter, I helped you get into the castle like we agreed, so it's time for you to repay the favour.

"Fine ,fine. I was only surprised, that's all. Well, the zastlevania Warriors Academy is located on the 1 first vampire city. Which also serves as the capital of zastlevania.

Seeing how we are in the 3rd city, the distance is not too far, especially with the use of teleportation stops. We could get there in minutes.

The academy teaches pretty much everything vampire related. It also help us improve our fighting skills. It help us get stronger.

Even the guards and knights of zastlevania must all attend the academy before going to the Knight Academy.

As for the mage who wants to devote their life to spell magic, they have the option of leaving the warrior academy to go join and master spell magic at the Mage Academy of spells.

But it's rare to see anyone leave the academy to go join the mage academy of spells in the first place.

Lydia paused . As if waiting to see if Elena was following.
