She quickly made her way towards a massive tree before leaping upwards into one of its branches. activating camouflage, she blended into her environment.

few minutes later, two vampire instructors passed underneath the tree elena was on. they were looking all over the place, trying to see if anyone was around, but they didn't notice her presence.

they made their way down the part, heading towards the crime scene. Elena waited for a while before coming down and activating her Blaze skill, running forward at a great speed.

the two instructors had arrived at the crime scene, the scene was gruesome, with vampire flesh scatter all over the place.

the two instructors were surprised, and they quickly went ahead to inspect the entire crime scene, taking notes of every little detail.

back in the living area, Elena had made her way back to her room, locking the door behind her, she layed on her bed,with both eyes closed. "That was close." she said to herself.

thinking back to her quest, she felt she had failed the quest. she then opened up the system screen, looking at the quest bar she was surprise. The quest was still there. How was this even possible? elena thought.

"Dummy, open up the storage ring you collected from Arwin." Dracula voice rang out in her head. "How do I do that?" she asked dracula.

[sigh] dracula sighed before responding, "Use your skill scrutiny to scan the storage ring, then leave the rest to the system."

Elena did as told, dropping the ring on her bed. She proceeded to scan the ring with her scrutiny skill .

Elena allowed the system to break the ring code.

few seconds later, she got another notification.

elena then went ahead to choose a new code. After doing this. she had full access to the storage ring. placing the ring on her ring finger, she proceeded to tap the surface of the ring a couple of times, while typing in the code, the ring then opened a portal like space, she could see various items inside this large portal like space of the ring.

she began bringing out some of the contents. First, she brought out three triangular devices. This was the same device the vampire had been looking for back when elena was spying on him.

she also brought out other items. Some were of great value as she was told by the scrutiny skill. she also saw a large amount of gold and valuable crystals in the storage space.

moving on, she saw a bottle with a transparent liquid that looked a lot like water. According to the system, the liquid was an elixir that could make one invisible for 24 hours.

she also saw several blood flasks inside the storage ring. she also saw a written contract between the vampire and alacad.

strangely, this contract was written and signed with blood. alacad had instructed the vampire to gather seven items for him in exchange for the freedom of his son.

from the look of things, he was only able to recover three of the items before Arwin had ended his life. searching further, she saw a large map that had information about the entire kingdom of zastlevania.

several points in each of the seven kingdoms had been marked out. Two were marked good while the rest had an x marking on them. upon close inspection, elena could see the two places where the third and second city.

This meant that each city had one of the items. The vampire had successfully collected the ones in the first three cities.

she didn't know the reason why alacad wanted the device, but her guess was, whatever he was up to wasn't a good one.

she also saw various high-quality weapons she could use inside the storage ring. from long swords to crossbow. she was grateful because this ring was more like a goldmine.

[Ding!]

she was happy to see she had Levelled up twice in a row. she quickly opened up her attributes points.

3. Energy drain Lv 01. skill description. this skill allows the user to drain energy from the victim with each successful hit. the drained energy can be used to refill users' lost energy. skill duration 30 seconds.

4. Blood poison. skill description: This skill allows the user to effectively use blood poisoning to damage her victims during battle.
