Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde: Hot and Cold
Jessie was going through a breakup with her fiancé. She went to Vegas with her friend to get over the breakup. Have fun and regain herself. Din Cooper is a multi-billionaire. He was the CEO of the Cin's mobile. (Car company.) He almost got kicked out of the company by his grandfather because, at the age of 29, he wasn't married. His grandfather's Ultimatum, "Her name is Jessie Walker. Make sure you get married before the end of this month. To Jessie." Din also went to Vegas to attend his friend's party. He thought he would at least have a few drinks to clear his head off. He met Jessie in Vegas and recognized she was the woman his grandfather forced him to get married to. When Jessie and Din both met, did sparks fly endlessly or was it filled with hatred?
Chapter 43
"It's quite hot in here but I am fine." She looked him in the eyes and met his gaze. Her lower eyes had dark circles surrounding them.
"We should get out of here before things become worse." He instantly rose up. "Granddad, I'm going to leave immediately."
"But why, Din, you haven't finished your dessert yet and Jessie..."
"She is not in good health. I'll take her home to keep an eye on her." Din interrupted him before he could finish his sentences. Jessie was helped to her feet by Din.
Sierra jumped up and added, "And I will go with him." She came over to Din and helped Jessie walk. "I had a feeling there was something wrong with you."
Din remembered his conversation with Jessie the night before. She sounded like she was sucked into the downpour. Perhaps that was the source of her illness.
He and Sierra escorted Jessie into the house and showed her to her room. Jessie was too unwell to gaze at the mansion she admired.
