Chapter 4: Welcome to Shrek Academy part 2

Honestly after my discussion with Zhao Wuji, I was expecting some difficulties in implementing my reforms to the school. Because what I introduced wasn't simply new rules or new cultivation techniques, but also Soul Guidance Tools.

Because I knew that Soul Guides were the future of Soul Masters and I also wanted to have some futuristics technology to play with, I introduced the Soul Guidance Tool class (SGT class) to Shrek Academy and forced everyone to study it.

And at first, like I expected they protests and refused to learn. Except for Shao Xin who was a Food type Soul Master, others, especially Zhao Wuji were really against the idea of using foreign tools to fight.

Well that was until I introduced them to my Endgame concerning the Soul Guide : The Battle Armor. Basically it's a Soul Guide that can replace the functions of a Soul Bone. And because you build it yourself it would obviously fit you perfectly.

After knowing my plan, those against, suddenly became the most eager to learn and research Soul Guides.

After that, it was very easy to add some new classes or change some trainings. And even though it it was quite difficult to get started we still make it before this year registrations.

But fortunately, because of my instructions in the simulator, my descendants always advocate the research of Soul Guides, so I didn't have to start from scratch. With the help of all the Soul Guides they created or researched, I can now proudly said that not only Shrek was now the most advanced Academy in the Douluo Star in all Soul Masters related fields, but it was also the safest place, because of its weapons that could kill Demi-Gods.

The only thing our Academy lack right now, was students and enough teachers. For the teachers, that wasn't really a problem, because I already had a solution to it.

As for the students... Honestly after seeing Ma Hongjun entering to the Registration Office followed by 3 people, I was really surprised. Especially when I recognized Dai Mubai from those three.

'It honestly surprising that he could pass the first test. Because from what I remember, he was quite a coward. And came here only to spend the rest of his life here in peace. Or maybe he only became depraved after coming here and saw nothing that could give him hope of wining against his brother?'

"Hello everyone, and welcome to Shrek Academy. My name is Flender, the Dean of this school. Honestly you did the good choice in choosing this Academy. Because while, I cannot pretend to be the strongest. After all with only 2 Soul Douluo it's difficult to pretend to that title. But I can say with certainty that Shrek is the best Academy in the world.

Be it in terms of cultivation ressource, research in Martial Soul or even Self Created Soul Skills, Shrek has it. What other Academy have, we have it too, and what they don't have, we also have it. And all of those resources are at your disposal, with some rules of course."

While boasting a little, except for the little girl who look a bit uncomfortable, the others boys were clearly doubtful of what I said. So after Li Yusong came back and gave them their uniform a new armband and Badge of Shrek, I decide to lead them, so they could see with their own eyes how truthful I was.

Because the training ground was just around the corner, I decided to start by that.

The Training ground was actually a huge Stadium with mainly four big arena where students could fight with each others. But besides those fighting arena there also special rooms inside the stadium for physical training or just to new soul skills.

After Showing them the testing room, Xu Fenshi asked sceptical :

"Isn't it dangerous for us to try our soul skills inside a room? I mean, while this room is quite big, but is it sturdy enough?"

Having already anticipated that kind of question, I turned to Ma Hongjun.

"Get inside and show him."

After sighing dramatically, Ma Hongjun first taped on the tablet outside the testing room while I explain on the side.

"Because each people Martial Soul is different, and it way require different scenarios for you to see the effect of your Soul Skills, I create that tablet to respond to those needs. With this Soul Guide, you can decide of the weather inside the room. For example make it rain inside, or transform it into a sauna. You can also choose if you want some target practice, or want to be the target. As for the possible damages, you don't have to worry about it, because the walls inside are Soul Guide charged to absorb Soul Power and vibration. Furthermore those walls can even takes hits under Title Douluo."

And as if to confirm it, after entering the testing room. With the big screen outside, we could see that inside it start to rain hard, drenching Ma Hongjun in a second.

But after summoning his Martial Soul the Golden Phoenix, golden flames start to came out of his body. Being the ultimate fire, the moment it appears, all the water inside evaporate in a few seconds creating a thin mist. But for the kids watching the images with, that wasn't the most shocking thing.

"I-Is that...? A purple colored ring?" Asked Xu Fengshi with his eyes almost escaping from his head.

"How is that possible?! Isn't the limit 700 or 800 or the second ring?" Follow Dai Mubai with a comical face.

Smirking I replied.

"It is indeed normally impossible for a genius or a normal Soul Master to absorb a thousand year Soul Ring, But at Shrek we're not here to train normal people into genius or simply developing genius. We're here to train people with a monster mentality into becoming real monsters, or even gods." I said the last part in my heart.

While I was explaining, Ma Hongjun already finished his possession and was readying his attack.

From the corner of my eyes, I saw Lin Chenguang turning red after seeing the his new appearance.

It has to be said that after getting his ultimate fire and evolving his Martial Soul, my little disciple wasn't chubby anymore, and was even quite handsome for his age. That kind of glow up, was quite enviable. I myself, even after 3 evolution, and a raise in my Martial Soul quality, except for looking younger, I didn't get more handsome at all.

But I also knew that it was because Ma Hongjun had a Phoenix for Martial Soul that his appearance changed so much.

Anyway in my opinion, appearance wasn't everything. On the contrary it could distract people too much like this little girl here.

"Student Lin Chenguang, concentrate more on Ma Hongjun actions, than his face."

Being caught red handed, Lin Chenguang at least had some shame and excuse herself before looking more focused. As for whether it was still on Ma Hongjun appearance or not, I couldn't tell. But at least I did my job as a teacher and warn her for her own good.
