It was a new day for Yuhao. He was doing his warm-up spear training; he would take it easy for today and spend the time condensing the two rings for his [Monster Slime] martial soul. 

He wanted to advance from his current level 20 of soul power cap as it was getting tedious at this point. 

(AN: Choosing skills that would be relevant in the future is kinda difficult.) 

Today, he was expecting [the kicking saint] to visit him in the center of [Great Devil's Den] forest to inform him about the kingdoms' response. 

It was not an easy matter, as it directly affected the interests of a lot of organizations, mainly the adventurers' guild and the knight orders of various kingdoms, but Yuhao was betting on Usagi's status as a twin saint title holder to convince—*cough*, force— them to accept the proposal of sealing the forest. 

But what type of barrier would Yuhao use to seal the forest, you ask with a condescending tone while wearing your coat and drinking hot chocolate as the weather starts getting colder? 

And I answer with the same condescending tone while taking my cold meds and shivering under my blanket. 

The barrier around the sage's house was at the pinnacle of barrier arts in this world. It could prevent any being from entering as long as they had impure or hostile intent toward the house owner. 

Yuhao had already analyzed it with his [All of Creation] subskill from his trusty [Great Sage]. All he had to do was tweak it so that the barrier would act as a prison to prevent monsters from escaping the accursed forest. 

Of course, he would prevent people from entering the forest as well. He could allow them entry to train and gather resources from the magic-rich forest, but why would he? 

His barrier would protect all of humanity, and the price? They would lose access to the forest. It's a fair trade if you think about it (it is not). He did not need to explain the function of the barrier to them; all they needed to know was that nothing goes in, nothing goes out. 

Humanity would be safe with no monsters invading their territories, and Yuhao would monopolize the resources of the forest for his own private use. 

Ellie was certain that she did not grant her partner the bloodline of Lloyd Frontera so why was he acting planning like a black hearted capitalist businessman?

Huo Yuhao was sitting in a meditative position in his backyard. It was time to get some soul skills for his [Monster Slime] martial soul. 

He calmed his breathing as the [Monster Slime] martial soul materialized in front of him. The cute aqua-blue blob was shaking as if it were excited. Of course, it was not conscious; it was just a natural reaction when condensing a soul ring. 

Soul rings were said to metamorphose the martial soul according to the skill that was most suitable for it. In some cases, if the soul master picked high-quality soul beasts as their soul ring, the martial soul had a chance to evolve to higher levels. 

Martial soul evolution was rare in the early stages of Douluo Dalu. They could evolve if the person had an unawakened bloodline that had been awakened, like in the case of Tang San. 

His martial soul was nothing but a run-of-the-mill [Blue Silver Grass], slightly better than other [Blue Silver Grass] martial souls; it wasn't until he awakened his [Blue Silver Emperor] bloodline with the help of the [Blue Silver King] that his martial soul evolved into [Blue Silver Emperor]. 

Other cases would be adding soul rings that went beyond the capacity of the martial soul, as seen in the case of Dugu Bo, the poison Douluo. 

His martial soul was called [Jade Phosphor Serpent], and it evolved into [Jade Phosphor Serpent Emperor] after he absorbed his 9th soul ring. 

It could be interpreted that martial souls have a certain capacity for soul rings, and once it was bypassed, the limit would naturally be exceeded, causing the martial soul to change or evolve into a stronger one. 

But Yuhao was different; he did not want to add soul rings from soul beasts to his martial soul, as no soul beast could match the quality of his martial souls, which had been gifted to him by the lovely Ellie. 

He analyzed the process of condensing blood rings from his [White Dragon of Nihility] martial soul using [All of Creation] and was simply applying it to his other martial souls for 100% compatibility. 

"Let's check how many skill points I have right now," Yuhao muttered to himself as a dark window filled with golden text appeared in front of him.

"*Whistle*, I've become a millionaire," he joked to himself as he saw the skill point counter. His hoarder gamer blood was barely satisfied. 

"You think," the tuna living in his head commented sarcastically as she gazed upon the skill point counter. 

She had a point. The boy was literally gathering monsters and slaughtering them for points like a madman. She almost felt bad for the monsters, or "walking resources," as Yuhao liked to call them. 

Needless to say, she was kind of excited to see what new skills he would choose for his [Monster Slime] martial soul. 

Yuhao ignored the sarcastic remarks of the tuna and focused on condensing an empty soul ring energy construct that would be imprinted with a skill of his choice using his [Skill Creation Essence]. 

Why wasn't he just condensing the most suitable soul ring using the characteristics of his [Monster Slime] martial soul? Wasn't it better to have a 100% compatible soul skill with his martial spirit? Was it all a lie? 

The answer would be no. Having a 100% compatible soul ring to a martial soul was the best option, and he was planning on using the technology of these soul skills as his main product when he returned to Douluo Dalu. 

But he had a [Skill Creation Essence], and he was going to use it to its full potential. Since both the essence and the martial soul were products of Ellie, they would naturally fit each other—even if by force. 

After all, Ellie was a crystallization of miracles given form. Having a miracle or two happen because of her wouldn't be out of the ordinary. 

An aqua-blue ring construct made out of Honkai energy appeared around the [Monster Slime] martial soul. Yuhao started absorbing it while also imprinting a skill on it.

That was the first ring of his [Monster Slime] martial soul, and it was fitting for the title of 'monster' in his martial soul's name. He chose this skill as a base to assist him in the beginning stages of his organization. 

Having subordinates for his organization would be nice and all, but it would take time, so why not just create them? Also, who doesn't want an army of beasts that are 100% loyal to their master and would fight to the death for his name? 

Yuhao was still in his meditative state as a second aqua-blue ring construct made out of Honkai energy appeared around the [Monster Slime] martial soul. He repeated the process of absorbing and imprinting a skill on it.

That was the second skill for his [Monster Slime] martial soul—a skill that would be the main moneymaker for his organization.

The art of alchemy has no limits. When alchemists develop their craft to higher levels, they can be considered powerhouses on their own. Alchemists are also stacked with money and resources. 

Don't have enough of certain resources, minerals, or metals? Simple—just create them using literal dirt from the ground to fit your needs. 

Alchemy is branched into two fields: [Western Alchemy Arts] and [Eastern Alchemy Arts]. The [Western Alchemy Arts] focus on golems, potions, artifacts, homunculi, souls, and reaching [The ROOT], while [Eastern Alchemy Arts] focus more on arrays, medicine, pills, puppets, and reaching [The Dao of Alchemy]. 

As for forging, enchanting, and other production-type skills, they would be used to create weaponry, artifacts, training fields, and more for his organization. 

Sure, Yuhao could create literally anything with his nanobots from his class as a [Nanomancer], but why would he? His skills and stuff were his and his alone. 

He wouldn't go around sharing stuff made from his nanobots with members of his organization, as that just sounded like a bad idea. He would share some of his stuff with Huo Yun'er, but that was because she was his mother and she gets certain privileges. 

Yuhao still had the sage's book that detailed all of his abilities and skills throughout his entire life, and Yuhao would make use of it with the assistance of his skill. 

His [Monster Slime] martial soul was never meant to be a combat martial soul. It was meant to be a production martial soul that could create, arm, and mobilize armies without any problem. A literal one-man army in the making. 

Huo Yuhao opened his eyes to gaze at the two floating aqua-blue energy rings around his [Monster Slime] martial soul. He breathed a sigh of relief before smiling at his creation. 

"It turned out better than expected," he commented as he stood up from his seated position and started stretching. 

"Those are some good skills, Yuhao," the Herrscher of Finality praised from inside the stigma space. She could see how the new skills would help him in the future. 

Granted, he could have achieved similar results using the power of other Herrschers, but that would take a long time to master, and given his nature, he wouldn't share anything from his Herrscher powers with others. 

(AN: The Herrscher of the Void could have an army of Honkai beasts at her disposal at any moment, and the Herrscher of Truth could literally create anything that he understands.) 

The only thing he would share is the subspace lances he uses to skewer his enemies. 

"Danke," the blond boy thanked the tuna in German, causing her to cringe a little. He figured out that whenever he spoke German to her, she would have flashbacks to a certain silly siren that kept spamming "Nein" like there was no tomorrow. 

The tuna just launched a gust of wind in his face, messing up his golden hair strands, causing him to laugh a little at the silly tuna. 

It was currently midday, and Usagi should be on his way to Yuhao's house, so Yuhao decided to relax until he arrived. 

After all, today was his day off from training, and he usually spent it lazing around and trolling people online by using his nanobots and hacking websites with ease. Truly an evil that should be punished by heaven.

Phew, this chapter is about 2.2k words without the author's note. It took longer, as you might have guessed, with the lack of updates. 

We explained the significance of soul skills for soul masters and how they can be used to evolve the martial souls under the right conditions. Huo Yuhao's 'Energy Skill Rings' would take the Douluo Dalu world by storm.

Anyways, give your opinion about the 'soul skills' of his [Monster Slime] martial soul. 

The first skill was inspired by [Annihilation Maker] from DxD. A broken Longinus Sacred Gear that had the ability to create monsters according to the user's imagination. 

The only difference is that the skill here could create living beasts instead of monsters that act like robots with no sense of self. So, they are 'alive' in a sense and consider Yuhao as their progenitor, so they are loyal and crave his affection. 

The skill would show its true value in the second world after he visits Douluo Dalu for a bit. Hint for the second world: They have thick French battle maids. 

The second skill is inspired by Grid, as you may have guessed from the name and the Author's Note hint. Alchemy, blacksmithing, and enchanting are the building blocks of any organization in fantasy worlds, and the [Monster Slime] martial soul would be the ultimate factory, as you have seen Rimuru using his skills to develop literally anything inside his [Stomach] subskill. 

Do you want a time skip? If yes, how much should I skip? It should be less than a year, as I have a plot point that I'm going to address in Douluo Dalu in future chapters. 

I feel that the plot has stagnated a bit, and I don't like that. I have some base ideas for the Douluo Dalu world, but the current world's plot has not progressed whatsoever.
