Taking a deep breath to calm his excited heart, Tang Hao quickly made his way toward A Yin.
"A Yin, I miss you so much!" He suddenly lunged forward, arms wide open, ready to embrace her. However, A Yin sidestepped, avoiding his hug, and Tang Hao lost his balance, falling face-first into the ground.
"What are you trying to do?" A Yin frowned, having already noticed several people attempting to make unwanted advances towards her today. But with her strength, dealing with those individuals was far too simple.
Nuoding City was just a small town, where the strongest among them barely reached the Soul Master level, not even close to Soul Sect. How could they pose any threat to her?
But this person before her!
She could only describe him as unfathomable!
With her strength, she hadn't sensed the approaching aura of this man at all; her spiritual perception had vanished the moment it entered his vast sea of soul power.
He was at least a Soul Douluo, perhaps even a Title Douluo!
A Yin frowned, a hint of wariness creeping into her heart. She hadn't expected this seemingly unremarkable, dirty man to possess such strength.
"A Yin? What's wrong? I'm Tang Hao!" Tang Hao got up from the ground, staring at A Yin with fiery eyes as he spoke with deep affection.
In his eyes, A Yin must not have recognized him!
"Tang Hao? You're Tang Hao?" A Yin's eyes lit up upon hearing his name because the task Zhao Ming had given her was related to this person.
Seeing the unfamiliar look in A Yin's eyes, Tang Hao's expression changed. Could it be that A Yin didn't remember him?
"A Yin, what's wrong? Don't you remember me?" Tang Hao asked incredulously, panting heavily.
"I don't remember. My name is Zhi'er," A Yin replied, furrowing her brow and shaking her head after a moment of thought.
Tang Hao's heart sank further at her response, feeling as if dozens of knives were carving into his heart. Each cut intensified his pain.
A Yin didn't remember him, nor did she recall the joyful moments they had shared together. A hint of bitterness crept onto Tang Hao's lips.
"A Yin, you really don't remember me? Take a good look at my face," Tang Hao said as he reached for A Yin's hand.
But A Yin quickly withdrew her hand, refusing to let him touch her.
Seeing this, Tang Hao felt a pang of sorrow. They had once been so close, but now they felt like strangers.
Looking into A Yin's indifferent eyes, Tang Hao resisted the pain swelling in his heart.
Now that A Yin was back, it was a tremendous blessing! Even if she was currently facing some issues, suffering from amnesia and forgetting their blissful experiences, he was confident he could find a way to restore her memories.
Even if he couldn't restore her memories, they could fall in love again! Thinking this way didn't seem like a bad thing after all. After all, although A Yin had forgotten him, she had also forgotten the unpleasant experiences.
With these thoughts, Tang Hao felt his pain lessen a bit.
"Zhi'er, let's go to a hotel for a meal. We can chat while we eat, okay?" After considering, Tang Hao suggested.
"Mm." A Yin gently nodded.
This time, Tang Hao didn't reach for A Yin's hand again. He understood that she was a reserved person. Now that she had lost her memory, he was nothing more than an ordinary man in her eyes, and ordinary people would never hold hands.
He walked ahead while A Yin followed behind. They arrived at a hotel in Nuoding City and ordered a private room, selecting dishes according to A Yin's preferences.
Watching A Yin eat slowly and delicately, Tang Hao began, "Zhi'er, your name is actually A Yin. Do you know? I am your husband; our first meeting…"
"Stop right there, I don't want to hear it right now," A Yin interrupted Tang Hao directly. She felt a bit displeased; she was clearly the Young Master's person. How could she have any connection with this scruffy man?
Moreover, she was still a virgin! How could she possibly be his wife?
Indeed, the Young Master was right!
This man was not a good person; not a word he said was true! A trace of disgust flashed through A Yin's heart, but her expression remained unchanged.
Tang Hao was momentarily stunned by A Yin's interruption. The original A Yin would never have cut him off like that. It seemed that her revival had come at a significant cost, even affecting her temperament so drastically.
Right, revival!
Who revived A Yin? And even if someone did revive her, how did A Yin find her way here?
Tang Hao suddenly realized this issue.
"Well then, I won't talk about our past stories today. A Yin, I want to ask you."
"How were you revived? And how did you know about me despite your amnesia? Who sent you to find me?" Tang Hao fired off several questions in quick succession.
However, Zhao Ming had anticipated Tang Hao's queries and had already prepared answers for A Yin, setting a trap for Tang Hao.
Following Zhao Ming's instructions, A Yin began her performance.
Her expression was on point.
"I don't remember those things from before. I only know that when I woke up, there was a very beautiful woman standing before me; she saved me. She told me she is the Goddess of Life. My Blue Silver Emperor aura matches her life attribute well, and she hopes that I can inherit her divine position in the future." A Yin revealed a nostalgic look.
"I see, I see. Only the power of a deity could accomplish your revival," Tang Hao nodded excitedly.
He hadn't expected that A Yin had not only been revived but also had the chance to inherit divine power.
This was indeed double happiness! The only downside was A Yin's lost memories. However, where in this world could anything be perfect? He was already very satisfied with this outcome.
"Then why now?" Tang Hao paused. "Did she send you here?"
"Mm." A Yin replied, "She told me that my revival is only temporary, and I will still die in a month."
"Why? Didn't she say she would let you inherit her divine position?" Tang Hao stood up from his chair, his face turning pale, his mood crashing from the heights to the depths.
"She sent me here to reclaim my soul ring and soul bone. For a soul beast, the soul bone is the accumulated essence of its energy, while the soul ring is its life essence. Only by reclaiming these two items will I truly be revived."
"Is that so?" Tang Hao let out a breath of relief.
