Letters

I wrote him letters as a kid I had no one to talk to so I talked to someone who everyone was talking about. I could never close my eyes and say what I was grateful for so instead I wrote letters at my own convenience. I never had the heart to throw them out so instead I kept them hidden in a place no one would find. Those letters shouldn't mean much, yet I protect them as if the key to my heart is inscripted in the ink on the pages. And in all honesty, it probably is.
