Chapter 37 Unpredictable Human Nature

The next morning.

Harry was sleeping when he suddenly felt a strong wind. Although it came fast, there was no hostility.

He raised his hand to block it. When he opened his eyes, he saw it was Ross.

Ross was a bit surprised. Harry was able to take his attack in deep sleep! This kind of vigilance should have been practiced for at least half a year! But Harry had just started yesterday, he was now almost as good as himself. What a genius!

"What's wrong?" Harry stood up and asked in a low voice.

With a slight smile, Ross said, "Harry, martial arts require constant training! You must make use of every day."

"Got it!" Harry giggled and followed Ross downstairs and began to do morning exercises.

In the past, Ross only practiced with wooden men. But now, he could practice with zombies.

They saw a lot of wandering zombies. They smiled, took out their weapons, and began to fight.

Ross still used his family dagger, and Harry used a common military knife he found on the street yesterday.

The two of them quickly killed the wandering zombies.

Their courage soon attracted the attention of many survivors. They poked their heads out of the window and marveled at their strength.

Harry didn't want to attract people's attention, so he took Ross back.

Ross said with a smile; "Harry, you're amazing. It only took you one night to be so good. With your comprehension, at most within a year, you can be as good as me!"

Harry smiled. It was not his talent. The reason why he could make so much progress was because of the physical drinks.

However, although he was already so powerful, it would take him a year to catch up with Ross. Ross must be far stronger than he had imagined.

The two of them were talking and laughing. When they were about to return to the office building, they suddenly heard some footsteps behind them.

They turned around and saw some survivors hiding in the nearby buildings.

Several strong young men ran up to Harry and Ross and said with a flattering smile:

"Young men, my name is Tiger. You are amazing. Killing zombies is a piece of cake for you. Nice! Where did you come from?"

Harry frowned slightly. He didn't like the strong man in front of him. Because his clothes were clean, and his face was red and fat. But the people following him were all in rags, pale and thin.

It could be seen that he must have used these people.

"We are from the west of the city. We don't know much about the place. Tiger, don't worry. We will leave before noon!"

On the doomsday, there was no system, people naturally developed a sense of territory.

There were only a few zombies in this block, so someone must be in charge. Now it seemed that this strong man was the one. They had already caught their attention. Harry didn't want to have a conflict with them, so he said they would leave as soon as possible.

"Bro, what are you talking about? The street is full of monsters. The survivors need to help each other. How can I drive you away?" Tiger chuckled, and changed the topic, "The two armored cars are yours, right? Are you going to leave by driving them today?"

Harry frowned slightly. Yesterday when he chose to camp here, he didn't check the surroundings. So he didn't realize that there were gathering places for survivors. Now that his cars had been exposed, it would not be so easy to leave!

"Yes, the two cars are ours. We'll drive away later!"

Tiger smiled and said, "Young men, we have been here for so long, and we are almost running out of food. Can you be kind enough to help us and take us away? I have a dozen of people, if we work together, we will get out of this hell!"

The survivors behind Tiger looked at Harry with hope. They had had enough here.

Harry shook his head and said, "I'm sorry Tiger. There are nine people on my team. These two cars can't accommodate more people."

"The cars are very big. If we squeeze a little at least you can take me."

Tiger said in a hurry, not caring about the safety of his people.

Harry was more disgusted with such a selfish person. He shook his head firmly and said, "I can't hold any of you!"

Hearing this, the flattering smile on Tiger's face instantly disappeared.

"Brat, you think I'm joking? How can you be so selfish in the apocalypse? We are all human beings. Do you want to watch us die? I came to you with sincerity. Do you think I don't dare to rob your car?"

As soon as he finished his words, Tigers underlings immediately raised their self-made weapons and pointed them at Harry.

Looking at these people, Harry felt funny. Just now, Tiger was about to abandon them, but now they all supported him. In the first few days of the apocalypse, had their servility been aroused?

Harry had a lot of fighters. How could he be afraid of this group of brats?

"Really? I bet you can't even open the door of my car!"

Harry's armored cars were very advanced. No one could open them without his key. The armor was so heavy that it was impossible to break it forcefully.

Tiger blushed with embarrassment when Harry exposed his plot. He couldn't help but shout angrily, "Little bastard, I give your one more chance. Take us away! Or you'll see! We have dozens of people here"

"What happened?" A roar came from behind.

It turned out that the noise downstairs alerted Harry's team.

James and Jack each carried a submachine gun and rushed down. Pointing at Tiger and his people, causing them to take a few steps back.

The nine members of Harry's team walked out of the office building and confronted Tiger and his people.

Though Harry didn't have many people, he frightened Tiger away who holding cool weapons retreated to the side with fear.

Harry ignored them and got into the car with his team.

Their time was limited, and they didn't have time to waste here.

Seeing that they had sufficient firepower, Tiger knew that they wouldn't take him out of here.

But how could he bear to see them leave?

He shouted angrily, "You want to leave? In your dream! Let's die together!"

Then he rushed to his place with his underlings.

Harry and his team were wondering what Tiger was going to do when they saw a burning glass bottle flying and smashing on their cars.

With a loud sound, the rolled-up doors were suddenly opened. Countless zombies poured out, blocking the street.

No wonder there were no zombies here. They were had locked in the warehouse by Tiger!
