chapter 78: Kent

Falco shot a sleeping dart on Don and James an instant and ordered his lackeys to take them both and kill kent along the way ...

one portal materialized into the thin air beside the Falco and the shoulders of his red robe, Kent cast lots of Ice spikes on them without further delay after seeing they are taking James with them

Falco smiled bitterly at kent, he made the worst mistake to fire on with his ice spike. Falco was not the only one who realized it was a huge mistake another one was kent himself

it's like He drifted away with emotions and throw himself under the bus, He swiftly turns back and created a thick ice shield to protect himself from the upcoming ice spikes

Ice spikes rain on him like an asteroid hitting the earth, Every spike who able to come in contact with the shield leaving a tremendous amount of vibration to the shield

Kent vomits a mouthful of blood after that he stood facing red robes and Falco.

Falco smiled again looking at him, He wanted to see how far this guy would go but at the same time he knew he has to hurry or the higher-ups would intervene in the battle

Skeleton soldiers began arising from the dirt but Kent stopped them midway stuck in the ground with a frozen surface

Bending his knees, the icy ground cracks as Kent leaps toward red robes without wasting time with skeletons

Red robes trembled to look high jump of kent but the most thing that awed them was caused Kent's lots of spikes coming following him.

Falco couldn't bother to save small fries like them he was more concerned about escaping from the place. He gestures to red robes who were holding James and Don to follow him but before they went into the portal created by Falco. A huge wall appeared in front of him

Falco grimaced " You little shit "

Kent smirked but before he noticed anything Falco dagger reached to him, he ducked with wide eyes unable to comprehend the situation

" You guys go I will take care of him, " Falco said

" No fucking way " Kent shouted throwing one huge ice blast on him.

Falcos legs move briskly as he decided to face him head-on without any spells. Kent was distracted to do something ignoring Falco like he doesn't even exist

His kick makes contact with Kent's face, sending him flying towards the car

The car doesn't explode when Kent crashes into it, but the frame bends and crumbles around his body

Falco looks bewildered as he thought what the hell this guy was doing even after seeing him he ignored me. He turns his gaze back at the red robes and his eyes widen

" Fuck ..." Falco took a last glance at kent and ran up to Don and James who was lying on the ground, All of the red robes were taken down by Kent

Icy poles arose from the ground penetrating their bodies like a piece of meats, He took down four of them in the single attack without hurting James and Don

Another portal materialized and Falco took Don and James with him leaving kent half-broken

Kent separate himself from the damaged vehicle carefully but anger and pain were visible on his face, He failed to protect James " I am...sorry "

Tiger clan and Killer guild have their differences, more likely they hate each other. James and kent are no exception but in the last few days their bond somehow became strong

Kent always looks at James as his rival because he was the only one who has the strength to oppose him in the future even after he was in D rank he never looks down on James because he knew James.

He was injured badly yet he was running towards the main cabin where all of the peoples presented

" Kent " Scarlett shocked seeing Kent in bad shape still he was hurrying to go somewhere without caring about his wounds

There was a blood trail left behind where kent darted hastily, Scarlett and Tyson followed him into the main room

" Dad ...uncle Jordan " Door slammed open startling everyone in the room, Kent's vision becomes blurry darkness began capturing his senses

" They took James and ...That guy .." Kent loses his balance but Kenny caught him in the embrace

" Kent ..." Kenny shouted " Doctor ...call the fucking doctor"

The doctor rushed in and put him on the stretcher, Kenny left with them.

"I failed ... I couldn't able to " Kent cried looking at Jordan

Jordan smiled in response and said " Don't worry kid you did your best ...we will take it from here "

His voice was deep and angry but at the same time, he wanted to reassure kent. Everyone eying Jordan carefully as they thought what's his next move will be

Jordan slowly turn to exit but Shane stopped him " Buddy ...we can't hurt him it-"

" Get the fuck out of my way " Jordan bared in anger, he was upset because this was the second time his son's life was on the line and he couldn't do anything.

Shane step aside giving him the way to walk out of the room, the room went silent after Jordan left

" I have to make sure he doesn't do anything stupid " President followed shortly

" Did they kidnapped James ?" Tony asked firefox " And who was the other guy ?"

Firefox nodded, " Don...he was also dragged with him"

And now Tyson and Scarlett are shocked, They have no idea why they kidnapped him, there was no good reason to kidnap him. he was just in the wrong place at the wrong time, they believed.

On another side, Firefox and Tony knew why they kidnapped him along with James or more likely to say they were after Don, not James

They already figured out that Don was the one who dealt with the double dungeon, not James but for some reason, he wanted to hide this fact so president, firefox, and Tony didn't bother to go deep into this as they were still not sure because James refused to talk every time they wished to hear what happened in the double dungeon.

" What happened to them ...how could they ?" Scarlett stumbled back, Tyson put his hands around her for support

Carlos grinned but doesn't utter any word from his mouth he was eying Rosey carefully, Rosey, and larry exchange a look but unexpectedly Jordan entered the room making a loud voice of the door

" oh...Jordan I've been waiting for you," Carlos said

Jordan didn't bother to say anything, he just kicked him out of the chair, and when he dropped on the ground he slammed him on the wall more than two time

Blood comes out of Carlos's mouth but there was no hint of pain nor resentment towards Jordan

" Hey what are-" Rosey interrupted by larry who was gesturing her not to say anything

" There was something we couldn't able figure out about Carlos " Larry added " Just wait and watch "

President Edward followed him in the room but he didn't say anything until Jordan beat the shit out of Carlos until he loses his consciousness ...
