chapter 71: Minho

" You are a monster " One girl in her mid-twenties cried looking at Minho

" No...trust me amelia I'm...not a monster...you know me very well don't you? "

Amelia's back was placed on the car in the parking lot in front of the recruitment center, terrified expression was visible on her face.

Minho steps forward with a sad expression as he was trying his best to calm down her girlfriend.

" We are together for 4 years...did I ever hurt you ...then how can you say that to me like others "

" You are fucking necromancer ...Minho ...you are a sinner," Amelia said, " Don't ...don't touch me ..."

" But-"

" Hey, you punk...you heard a lady am I right? ... now fuck off, " One guy said from the parking lot, and around him, his friend was looking ready to engage

" It has nothing to do with you-" Minho glance at them but Amelia ran up to them and stood behind that guy

" Please save me from him ... I don't want to die "

Minho was visibly shocked at amelia response, tear roll down from his eye as his heart somewhat stopped beating for seconds looking at his lover who was now standing behind another guy

" are done? " That guy steps forward with summoning his thunder in the palm of his hand " Your kind kills innocent girls for sake of powers, Tell me one reason why i shouldnt beat you till your death "

" I never wished for this kind of power nor I ever thought about this ..." Minho dropped on his knees crying " Amelia, I love you so much if you want I will never use my powers but don't...don't leave me "

" You loved me right?" He added further

" No ... I never loved you...not someone like you," Amelia lets out " Please sir save me from this monster...he will kill me if you let him live ...please "

" Dan ... it's up to you, " One of the guys said " But don't kill him in front of the recruitment Center or we will be in trouble"

"Let's beat the shit out of him "

Few heroes wanted to intervene but after they heard that guy was a necromancer they decided not to take side with the demon, they just watched a weak guy like Minho got beaten by other heroes

regardless of their physical attacks, Minho didn't use his summoning skill against them, he just let them hit him all they want as his eyes were fixed on amelia who was watching them without interrupting like an audience.

they were kicking him, punching him regardless of his weak spots and face, he felt pain all over his body but that pain failed to surpass the pain he was feeling in his heart. he was laying in a pool of his blood until they decided to drove him away.

After beating Minho they throw him in the car to drive him away from the recruitment center where other heroes are presented.

Minho could feel his heart rate slowing down, vision becoming blurry while these guys were taking him somewhere.

Later ...

They throw him out of the car in the dark ally and after they pulled out the military knife from the bag

one guy grabbed his hairs pulling towards him, Minho's damaged body wiggling with his head and arching pain making him grimace from the inside

"let's see how long you will endure this " Dan knifed the skin of Minho's face with a dead smile "It's hurt right...but you deserve it "

Minho gritted his teeth tightly, he could feel a burning and cold sensation on his face

" ow ...you are a tough one aren't you ?" Dan glanced back at his friends " guys "

His friends forcefully grabbed Minho Hands and placed his palm on the ground

" Ahhhh....."

Dan cut Minho's index finger in one slash of the knife" Ohh ...now that hurt ...isn't it ?"

Minho wailed in pain grabbing his wounded hand, rolling side by side he couldn't able to bore the pain, his scream softened because of the pain

Dan and his friends were laughing at his condition without showing any concerns or mercy at the newly awakened hero

Minho dragged himself back into the alley in fear even he had forgotten that he has a power like them

amidst their talking, one portal appeared behind those guys and Carlos came out with Falco beside him

" Well... well...well " Falco slapped slightly himself looking at them " This motherfuckers dare to hurt our friend " ...

Falco pulled out five throwing daggers from his pocket and in the blink of eyes perfectly directed to their foreheads

Despite their uncoordinated positions Falco perfectly assassinated four heroes and another dagger stuck on the wall beside Minho's face

" ops... one miss "

" Stop fooling around Falco " Carlos approached Minho stretching his hand forward to help him "humans deserve the nastiest end ...am right ?"

Present-day ...

the sky was full of hovering choppers, some of them coming to ambush zone and some of them flying away

" Grandpa I am not sure about this ...why I have to go headquarters," Scarlett inquired

" Your safety is most important for me girl "

" Yes ...Foxy is right and besides that, you are useless on the battlefield unlike your uncle," President Edward said before looking at the damaged part of the city

Mira, Scarlett, and both of the S rankers was heading for the headquarters leaving all the clan leaders to deal with Carlos and his subordinates

Kent's leg was trembling in fear, he never did witness something like this unlike James who had become mentally stronger after the raid of the double dungeon

" What the hell is that thing?"

" Who cares ...help me to suppress him so Don able to slay that thing like before " James rushed at that beast with summoning flames

" I am going to regret this " kent signs before joining James

Both of them rushed at him yet that thing only stared at them without moving a muscle

dozen of Ice spikes and fireballs headed for that creature but before they reached him, that creature made his move

He pounced at them avoiding all the attacks on his way with inhuman speed and in a matter of seconds he whisks past James and kent like they don't even exist there

James and kent only felt a gust of wind nothing more and less however That creature grabbed Dons face and threw him on the car across the road.

Before Don was able to respond to him he already slammed into the blue car, there was a big dent after Don detached himself from it

" You deal with Carlos, I will help the kids "

" He is not alone in this " Kenny said cracking his knuckles " And Rosey watch your back that thing might be dangerous "

Shane and Larry were occupied with clearing the mess made by new necromancers and helping heroes along with it

" You two...are doing well along with each other aren't you? " Carlos forwarded himself for the battle

" Shut up ..." Jordan and Kenny both said at the same time

" Falco ...ground troops are here take your time and return when we achieve our goal " Carlos continued" I will play with them for a while "

" Roger that ...."

Falco disappeared into the portal and with few red robes soldiers

" watch out ..." James shouted

" Fuck ..." Don shook his head a little a bit before looking at that thing but that monster was nearly about strike Don

James warning gave him enough time to prepare himself, Don avoided that blow by an inch as that creatures hand struck the vehicle

" Move ..." Rosey shouted throwing a giant fireball at them, Don quickly move away from the vehicle to a safe distance

A big explosion arose from the vehicle tossing ghoul a few meters off.

"It's not dead yet ...you should run, it's coming for you," Rosey said to Don

Ghoul stood up, everyone now could take a closer look at his figure, his all of the limbs are intact but his skin burned badly making him look more horrible than before
