chapter 70: Strange Blood

Amy was keeping eye on the battlefield, she could see heroes who were weaker than her or even some of them can't even handle one skeleton on themselves was fighting side by side with their fellows

" We have to get out of here as soon as possible..." Amy snorted looking at the wounded heroes

Scarlett who was helping wounded people despite her undeveloped healing magic. she was aware of the fact that if she used too much of her energy it can lead her to intense physical pain.

" We can't help him ...he is going to die at any movement...scar " Mira put her hand on Scarlett's shoulders as she wanted her to move away from a dying hero.

" No I can help him ...just give me a minute" Scarlett closed her eyes positioning her hand a few inches away from that guy's wound.

" Scar ...you don't have to do this " Firefox glanced at Scarlett for a moment

" I can't just let him die ...grandpa " Greenlight flashed from Scarlett's hand and was immediately absorbed by his wound.

the wound on that guy's forehead began healing up moment by moment, Mira was dumbfounded by Scarlett's powers as she never had any clue that her friend was a healer

" Scar...you...you are a healer "

" This is all I can do right now" Scarlett healed that guy until his bleeding stops however her powers were not enough to heal his wounds completely.

" Don't try to be a hero Scarlett... let a professional handle this issue " Amy asserted

" Your sis is right Scarlet, don't overuse your powers it might be dangerous for you," Edward said supporting Amy

Two medics approached That guy and moved that hero to the safe side after thanking Scarlett for her help

" But ... I can help them it's just"

" No ... " Firefox renounced her offer

" look that bastard managed to steal that necklace from him " Amy shouted bringing about everyone's attention to Don.

" You better give that necklace to us...only Dragon clan have right to possess it " Amy continued.

Don crushed that necklace in his bare hands with a glaring at another side of heroes...where Amy was yelling at him. His actions cause enormous anger in Amy's heart along with Carlos.

Other clan leaders were bewildered-looking at the necklace in Dons hands as they were trying to figure out what was he getting on with the power full weapon

That necklace cause a lot of turmoil to others and made Carlos untouchable until now but now that guy named Don who known as a necromancer like Carlos has it, They were not sure about his motives and if he decided to use it for himself them it will arise new threat on hero associations head and if somehow that guy passed that necklace to clan leaders then sure there would be conflict among them without any doubt because everyone aware of that necklaces mysterious and destructive powers

Who was going to hold that power in their hands and what if that necklace went in the wrong hands

Amy already demanding that necklace to hand over to the Dragon clan and that thing making them more uncomfortable Amidst everyone's thoughts about upcoming events Don crushed that necklace in his hands

His actions dumbfounded everyone around him, except James he just signs and gave a satisfying smile to his father who was looking at him in a perplexed expression

" How dare you lowborn...you destroyed Dragon clans property" Amy yelled in anger causing others to glare at her

" Shut up ...idiot girl," Shane said staring at Don

" Untamed " President Edward smiled after that " either this guy is an intelligent or complete idiot to destroy powerful weapon like that "

" Maybe he is brave doing something like this in front of Carlos " Firefox smiled " Now it's your turn Ed ..."

" You ...asshole..." Carlos cried out in anger

" Here we go " Rosey used rain fire at Carlos and his teammates along with Jordan

A tremendous amount of tiny fireballs headed to Carlos and Don and one Cocoon of ice formed around Don to protect him from that attack

Skeleton soldiers were destroyed by that attack who were surrounded, Don. Don was unharmed because of that defensive spell.

when the dust cleared Carlos was nowhere to be found and James rushed to aid Don with Kent beside him

" That was fucking awesome" Kent smiled looking everywhere

" Right ... I told you," James said briskly" But where is that guy "

Other red-robed peoples died on the spot expect Carlos

" Well...well...well" One guy lets out with a relaxed smile away from everything and beside him was Carlos.

more than 10 red robes stood by them waiting for orders

" Teleportation," Firefox said with a serious tone " This is bad "

" probably that guy was the reason why Carlos dare to attack the city " President step forward summoning ice swords in the air

" Falco...could you take care of that old man?" Carlos asked.

" Of course...who do you think I am Carlos... " Falco forward himself with a smile.

" Omg ...President is going to fight with that guy " Mira almost jumps on the ground excitedly

" Maybe that guy is powerful than others that's why Grandpa Edward stepping forward," Scarlett said as she was holding her breath for the upcoming battle.

Icy swords swooped at Falco and his comrades with tearing wind along the way

A big portal formed in the blink of an eye in front of Falco and all of the swords disappeared into it

" Shit " Edward whirled backward as he sensed another portal materialized behind them but it was too late

all of the Ice swords came into view and were about to hit Scarlett and others but firewalls formed in front of them making all swords dissolve in the heat

" Ed ... You can't hurt him like that " Firefox frowned " Don't use large scale attack on him "

Everyone felt chill on their spin after witnessing this scene

" We can't attack him with magic, then we will do it with our strength" Jordan smiled before running at him

" Are you ready ...minho? " Falco said in a calm tone

One of the red robes guys steps forward with a bitter smile on his face

" We will remember you boy..." Carlos patted him on the back " It's time to test what we achieved in these years "

Minho lowered his head and brought out one small glass bottle from the robes, that bottle crammed with blood.

" Thanks for everything master ...you gave me a lot " Minho drank all the blood in one gulp and shattered the bottle on the ground

" Your target is that boy " Carlos pointed his finger at Don while whispering into his ears.

one of the flying helicopters pointed his flashlight at them but that flashlight quickly shifts to Minho when he stepped forward.

Minho ripped apart his clothes as he began clawing his skin, One by one his skin melted like a candle, eyeballs drooped on the ground along with his facial skin.

His skin was shedding like a snake and with that, his size evolved to something else after his transformation, he becomes slender, his length of hands and legs made twice as much as before, hair fall apart and there were only black sockets left on the eyespot, his fingers were long covered with shredded unnatural white skin with sharp black nails

" I have a bad feeling about this " Scarlett said stepping back " that thing is dangerous ..."

two helicopters landed behind them.

"Let's go, Scarlett..." Firefox said " our ride has arrived"

" But what about them " Scarlett peers her gaze in Dons direction.

Olivia, Amy directly went to another helicopter and with them other few injured heroes

Firefox, President Edward, Mira, and Scarlett headed for another one but Scarlett was hesitating to went along with them

" What about Tyson...we have -"

" Don't worry he will be fine ..." Firefox reassured Scarlett so she makes her mind to leave this place

Scarlett took the last glance before leaving at Don

Don couldn't able to avert his gaze from that thing as if he was analyzing him curiously, That creature arose from the human body but there was no trace of human sanity left in that thing, seeing him feels like they are looking at the rotting corpse of a human

" Grrrr" That terrifying creature growled fixing his gaze at Don after he put his both hands on the ground like a four-legged beast...
