Scarlett was blessed with a Psychic shield that helps to protect her from most of the demonic energy that was emitting from that neckless. That shield always surrounds her to protect her from negative energy as if Air in the atmosphere

Even she had no clue until this wary moment that she had possessed something like this but she was more concerned about her family. Amy who was C-ranked, hero struggling with that demonic voice, and her mother without powers already fainted like her friend mira.

Firefox and Edward were entirely aware of this predicament but they didn't dare to directly attack Carlos, they were well aware of if they do something then surely Carlos will suffer a lot but the question was what will happen to other people around them. They weren't sure how lind they were going to endure that terrifying voice.

" Demon Stone " Tyson gritted his teeth and pounced at Carlos from behind as if he wanted to stop him. Carlos swung his arm as he hit him, forcefully throwing Tyson across the place like a ragged doll hitten by Bull

" Tyson..." Scarlett cried looking in the direction where he slammed on the wall and again switched her gaze at her friend mira " Wake up ...mira please wake up "

" I am surprised ...you two didn't affect by this voice ...even slightly" Carlos glance at Scarlett and Don.

Scarlett turned her gaze at Don as she began sobbing

" You are the daughter of ...jack am I right ...girl " Carlos continued further walking towards her but deterred his steps looking at two old men in his way

Firefox and Edward steps in front of her protectively and after a short, while other clan leaders recovered from that pain

" So this is the chanting voice James talked about " Jordan slapped himself and steps toward Carlos.

Kenny and others joined with them but hesitancy blooming from their faces as if they are not sure how to handle this matter

" I am sorry President but ... I am going to kill this Asshole " Larry smirked looking at Carlos as he prepared himself to attack him

" First handle your people ...larry " Carlos pointed towards them, before they could do anything other heroes turned at them with senseless behavior

" Fuck they becoming zombies" Kenny frowned looking at heroes who turned red like a tomato with bloody eyes

" Listen, guys ...Don't kill them only knock them out..." Edward ordered the Remaining heroes who had kept their sanity until now

" Don't worry My son will deal with this ...am I right James " Jordan wanted to boost other heroes' morals so they can fight their companions. And as he expected Heroes got fired up to looking at Demon slayer on their side

" Yeah ... let's do this we have demon slayer on our side "

James smiled nervously looking at other heroes as he glances back at Don. Don gave him a nod so he can prepare himself to attack that Man

" Yeah ... I can do this ... I can do this " James ignored the loud voice in his ears and said looking at Carlos who was looking at James with a smile " I can't do this ..."

Don was baffled by the situation going on in front of him, he has no idea what's going on, firstly, he thought that this necklace was not a Demon stone but when he heard a similar chanting voice. he was astonished looking at the small skull-shaped stone as various questions pop up in his mind.

Is that a demon stone? ...then why the system didn't detect any demon soul ?...And why this guy has this stone? ....Is the system stopped working?

He had no interest in helping the people who accused him or most likely wanted to kill him but if he decided to help then there was a chance that he can get demon stone and absorb it for gaining new abilities like before he had done.

Everyone engaged in the battle except firefox and Edward they both stood in front of Scarlett like a guard and they were making sure that nobody approaches her.

" Demon....slayer ..." Carlos changed his path and went towards James as he walking calmly through crazy guys "Let's see what you got "

" What are you waiting for my boy show him what we made of " Jordan punched one after one three guys straight with an exciting smile.

" You fucking moron ... He is after James take him and leave this place ...you idiot " Kenny shouted loudly

" What... How can you-" Jordan turns to James but the unexpectedly huge door burst open and Big Wolf came in behind James and Don blocking their escape, Because of that giant and Red wolf directly entrance walls beside the corridor crumbled and various cracks appeared on the ceiling of the grand hall.

Jordan leaps at his son and pulled to a safe distance away from the wolf and Carlos, now only Don was standing there alone between red wolf and Carlos

"I heard that you are a necromancer " Carlos walked calmly to Don ignoring James " I want to see how strong you are "

Carlos grabbed Don's throat tightly making him gasp for the air, Dons Senses had dulled because of that voice as he was distracted by the giant wolf that guy came close to him, and before he fully turned at him he had grabbed his throat and lifted him upward enough so his feet can't touch the ground.

Don put all his strength to free himself from his grip but surprisingly he was too strong, he used his both hand so he could manage to reduce his tight grip on his throat but even after he put all his strength there was no use. His Face become bloody red and his vision began fading and this was where his instinct kicks in.

Don let his hands go and punched him but there was no major impact on Carlos again he wrapped both legs around his arm and kicked on the face and thankfully managed to free himself from his death grip ...

But Jordan pulled him at the corner so he can not able to get caught between them " Don't worry I will help him ...you stay here "

Don rubbed his throat for a few moments coughing and breathing heavily, Every clan leader who was trying to subdue other heroes was also aware of their fight as if they wanted to see what's going on there

Scarlett soothed a little after seeing Don freed from his grip, she used her psychic senses to look at Carlos. His aura was Dark red colliding with Dons White aura

" you are powerful but-"

Before Carlos finish his sentence Don almost slit his throat if Carlos hadn't moved from his position

" You are fast boy," Carlos said in amazement

But Don didn't bother to stop his attacks,

He was attacking him with fast momentum and with every time opposite angles so he couldn't predict his attacks, if Carlos was not faster than Don he would be chopped by his white knife

" What the hell ... I thought he was necromancer but " Kent whispered

" His every move is unpredictable ...but somehow that asshole successfully avoiding it " Kenny Kicked one of the guys and glance at them.

Tyson walks slowly towards them as he threw his stained coat at the ground with anger " Don't you dare to touch my friends"

Even after Carlo's powerful hit, There was no single scratch on Tyson's body, The only thing that changed was the impact of that punch that made Tyson angry.
