chapter 13: Back in the game

I was hiding in the dark corner of the cave, I don't exactly remember, how I ended up here because all of my attention was focused on running away from lots of regular car-sized spiders...

These insects always loved to chase me... I never would've imagined someone like me not only one time but two times ran away from the fight...

I had earned 110 exp after killing 11 spiders. However, I couldn't fight more than 2 spiders at the same time. Fortunately, I had leveled up or even one thought about fighting them with my first-level abilities making me tremble in the fear.

The strange scent of the cave where I was hiding putting on a vibe of Calmness with fear in my heart.

these spiders were a lot stronger than ants. The difference between size making a huge impact in the battle however, I have been surviving and killing lots of spiders with my patience, and ability to see in the darkness. I could only see a glimpse of them but it was enough for me though...

I jumped from above on the surface looking around in the cave. There were walls and rocks wrapped with a thick web crating a maze for me as I couldn't able to remember where was i. I was more than happy to see my dagger could cutting the entrances filled with a web without any problem.

I kept walking for while hardly making any voices as gazing around cautiously... even after wandering, I couldn't saw any way out of these dark tunnels. if I think with a positive mindset It was not that awful to hunt spiders however they have the advantage over humans.

Amidst my roaming, I heard something dropped on the ground behind me thanks to my advanced hearing ability, I guessed that this spider might be bigger than I ever faced

I dived away and started hurtling forward without looking back.. one thing was sure at the moment and that is, this spider is bigger than others

My steps halted seeing a dead-end in front of me,

I turned around after seeing that I don't have another choice other than to face him. The Big spider size of the big car crawling behind me, looking at her size I wondered if she was the final boss... and if she was then, why the fuck every time they came at me...

Pulling daggers out, I took a defensive position,

The spider shot a web from his mouth at me, making me duck hastily, I managed to dodge it regardless of that I was left feeling dissatisfied with my body, it cannot able to cope with my instincts but this is all I could do right now.

I Was Dodging every attack from the spider, surprisingly I was faster than this dumb spider. I rapidly counter-attacked while taking opening until that insect dropped on the ground

I sat on the ground to recover from fatigue... my stamina was increased a lot, I looked at my arm where a small cut appeared and a small surge of blood coming out.

few minutes passed, and a message came off that made me feel like I am still invincible...maybe little a bit

Mind wondered, if I stayed between the battles for minutes, I can recover greatly and able to avoid upcoming peril.

No matter how long I wandered around but it wasn't helping me to find an exit. this situation making me frustrated with each step I took forward, I was still managed to control my anger until now because I don't want any unwarranted attention.

I started to regret that I left my Phone and that white ear... I forgot that name what humans use to call it... shit so many things these humans.. how can they remember all of the names

unexpectedly I heard some shouting voices

" Humans... "

I raced toward the screams as fast as I could, my hearing ability was enough for me to locate them in this cave where all the walls looking the same as before. I wasn't worried about them, however, I knew if they all died then I was not sure I would deal with the final boss or whatever it is alone...

When I came nearer to the noise I saw lots of spiders, a small one and big ones fighting with other Humans.

These humans are braver than the last ones or maybe powerful than them because they were still fighting with them head to head expect few injured humans...

My eyes fall on The girl in the front, using her Ice magic to kill and protect others at the same time, this was the first time I could see someone caring about others in the dungeons.

she was fighting like a warrior goddess to protecting her loved ones. she was almost managed to kill every single spider fighting with them.

she lowered on her knees as huffing with exertion but out of sudden, she noticed me from the far away.

As our gaze meets each other first thing I noticed was that her beautiful pale face and her maintained body with brown hair tied in a ponytail.

heroes seated on the grounds while looking at their wounds. some of them Lying down but nobody was looking in my direction except her. they weren't aware of my presence yet so I don't blame them but how could she able spot me from afar. has she also had advanced hearing ability? or maybe it's was just a fluke after all.

They were safe for now, I turned around and about to leave when I heard a voice from across the area

" hey you stop right there "

I glace back at the humans and saw that girl coming toward me while passing between others, everyone turns their heads in my direction with whispering.

I waited until she came to approach me, I wanted to hear what she wanted to say.

" my name is Maggy " she forwards her hand for a handshake but I didn't bother to introduce myself. I don't want to make friends or something like that because I already had have learned my lesson back then... if a human does something first like helping you or showing the kindness that means they will want something in return for sure

She pulled her hand back awkwardly and glance back at everyone.

" We need your help "

she waited for a few moments before responding back

" it doesn't matter, someone like me a D ranker Got injured in this dungeon and you are still standing unharmed in front of me that means you have your skills "

I smirked and looks at her for a few moments

" I was just hiding in the corner until now "

" There was no way to hide from them, they are spiders and their senses are sharper. there was no such a place that you could hide from them and besides your torn clothes explain a lot "

I looked at my black shirt and saw it torn on the stomach and shoulders, I scratched my head and said " I am good at escaping "

she surprisingly started laughing and again turns back walking toward others

" then stick with us for a while and when we face a stronger enemy then could run away whenever you wanted"

I thought for a second it was not a bad idea to stick with them for a while and besides that, I will just stay back and kill injured spiders to gain easy exp...
