It lasted 3 hours, and each warrior could only fight at a high intensity for around 60 minutes each, but with the 5% reduction, they could fight for 63 minutes! Although small it stacks up when so many warriors were having to swap in and out.
And if they took 20minutes to recover, it would only take 18 for them to recover and get back to killing!
It is definitely useful.
As for the rest of the objects, they were mostly mortal belongings, obviously this Plane was quite poor.
So Samuel turned his attention to the plane itself. After all it is a relatively safe land that could be all heres. Not to mention the 100,000 potential workers.
From the beginning Samuel did want to kill all 100,000 of these Caterpillars, however then Samuel found out that this Plane was actually very Coal heavy.
Coal is still useful, especially for blacksmiths. So even on earth a Ton of Coal can sell for 10 credits! Much higher than the original price on Earth.
And this Plane can mine out around 100 Tons of Coal a year! Not to mention a lot of food is grown here.
Around 100,000 Tons of food is grown here each year, but according to what Samuel knows, only 60,000 Tons are eaten each year by the Caterpillars. The rest is stored away and collected in giant warehouses.
Not bad for a small Population and a small Plane.
So Samuel wanted this for himself. His Dogs of War eat a lot as warriors, easily eating a ton of food a year just by themselves and food can also be sold although not for much.
As for the way of occupying this Plane? It was relatively easy, there are only Mortals left now and they are all in the same place.
Samuel just set up a portal in the main castle and brought in 300 Dogs of War who worked as the managers here.
As for the way of ensuring loyalty? Samuel set up a long term plan using the Partners Loyalty Talent.
First the Dogs of War would have relationships with the women in the Caterpillar race. Luckily they don't have many differences to humans except the green skin and squishy bodies.
And they can even have children as well, but the children will have half the Caterpillar bloodline and half of a Human Bloodline.
Unfortunately Samuel did realise that even ordinary Caterpillar men are poor in physical strength compared to humans, clearly they are a lower level race.
Samuel also brought in a couple of dozen female Dogs of War, and they took in a lot of Male Caterpillar men as partners. This is to set the foundation, and the Plane will continue to progress.
When the first set of children are born from these unions, they will partner with the children and adults born who haven't yet become loyal and slowly but surely the generations will progress completely loyal to Samuel.
And the unloyal ones will die out.
Of course this definitely won't be quick. Samuel gave a conservative estimation of 20 years before he can ensure the loyalty of the Plane. Samuel couldn't wait that long.
So using the 1,200 Spiritual Crystals earnt from killing the Swarm, he summoned another 1,000 fresh Dogs of War which sped up the progress rapidly. Samuel estimated that in less than 10 years everyone will be loyal to him.
100,000 Transitional Dogs of War! That is an incredible amount! Although they are all mortals, they can be used for various manual labour tasks.
Samuel also hoped he could find some sort of Practice technique in the future, like the Body Refining techniques practised by Mortals in the Novels that he had read. After all, it would definitely be more profitable if they have some type of combat power.
Soon a month passed. Over this month Samuel killed any high level officials in the city, and any village heads that had appeared in the exterior.
There was a small rebellion that happened involving 5,000 Caterpillars but they were quickly killed with no resistance. And since then the Caterpillars quickly listened to what they were told.
Over 70,000 of the Caterpillars were partnered up, the remaining 50,000 were young children not old enough to partner up.
And yes each Dog of War had around 70 Partners! Luckily the restrictions on Partners described by the system were quite slim.
The Partner and the Dog of War only had to sleep together once for them to be classed as a Partner. So with two partners a day they were quickly considered partners.
In another year, all 70,000 will become loyal followers of Samuel! And by the end of the 10 years, all young Caterpillars will be old enough to become partners of the Dogs of War.
But today Samuel received a System Notification.
[Congratulations to the Host for successfully occupying his first Plane and successfully opening the Territory Management SubSystem.]
''Territory Management SubSystem? System show me what it is''
[Territory Management:
Low Level Plane: Caterpillar Isles
Medium Level Planet: Blue Star]
Samuel looked at the list and clicked on the first Low Level Plane, Caterpillar Isles.
[Territory: CaterPillar Isles.
Low Level Plane
Control: 90%
Population:100,000
Output (Annually) :
100,000 Tons of Grain
20,000 tons of meat
5,000 Gold Coins
100 Tons of Coal
50 Tons of Iron
50L of Spiritual Liquid]
''Ah so it is just an overview of the territory? Thats easy to understand.''
Samuel could also click on each output to see a more detailed description of the resources produced.
For example the number of Farms producing the grain, or the number of cows that are killed for the meat.
But Samuel was curious about the Medium Level Plane so he clicked on it easily.
[Territory: BlueStar.
Medium Level Plane
Control: 0%
Population: ???
Output (Annually):
100,000,000 Credits
300 Spiritual Crystals
10 Tons of Common Herbs
1 Ton of Beast Meat
100 Warrior Skeletons
40% of a Lemon Fruit
50L of Spiritual Liquid]
Samuel was quite disappointed when he looked at the information. He wasn't qualified to look at the actual information that was written then .
And the Output was determined solely by what Samuel himself produced. And because he mostly purchased things from other sources the normal Output isn't that high.
However the rest of the output comes from his hunting groups. Including the Common herbs, beast meat and skeletons.
