Chapter 67

　　It took me some effort to find Cora's medical records in the hospital.

　　At first, the nurse said there were no records of a woman named Cora. So I had to ask her to search for records on the day Cora was sent to the hospital.

　　The nurse was impatient and began to complain about how much work she had to do. She said it was out of her responsibility and she might get punishment for doing that for me. So she had to refuse my request.

　　"Listen, I'm busy. I don't have time to search all the records to look for a woman. Besides, you're not even sure if she was sent to our hospital. Please don't waste my time."

　　It was partly true. I was unsure if the guy did have sent Cora to the hospital. But I had to confirm it. "I understand that. I appreciate your hard work. Please do accept my thanks to a lady who is beautiful and kind-hearted." I held her hand and looked at her sincerely. Of course, I stuffed some cash in her hand secretly when I was holding her hand.
