Chapter 56

　　* Pedro's POV*

　　The people I sent to search for Cora still hadn't brought back any good news.

　　I poured a glass of wine and walked to the window with the glass of wine.

　　It was late at night. And it was quiet. Cora's room was quiet too.

　　Since that day Cora left, I asked people to lock the room. No one could enter the room except for the maid to do the cleaning. Everything in the room was kept in the same position.

　　Didn't know why. I had a feeling that Cora would come back one day. She was so smart that she would be fine.

　　I raised my head to look at the moon. The day Cora left was a full moon. I believed that the Moon Goddess must have blessed her.

　　Suddenly, the phone rang.

　　Did they find Cora? I immediately ran to pick up the phone. The wine in the glass spread out and stained my shirt. But I didn't care.

　　I picked up the phone. Sean's voice came from the other end of the line. He seemed to be worried. "Something happened, Alpha. It's about Patricia..."
