Chapter 10

　　**Sean's POV**

　　When I walked into Pedro’s study, I found him smiling while reading documents. That was rare since he had become the Alpha.

　　“Good news?” I frowned.

　　“No, it seems we are losing profits.” Pedro put down the document.

　　“Then, why are you smiling?”

　　“Am I?” Pedro took the cup of coffee on the desk and took a sip. But I knew he was trying to hide his emotions. So I kept on staring at him.

　　Finally, Pedro put down the cup and cleared his throat, “Putting on a solemn face is not going change anything, right?”

　　“You always put on a poker face,” he added.

　　“What? Who is the one who always puts on a poker face exactly? How could he accuse me first!” I complained secretly. But what I really said was, “Okay.”

　　It seemed that he was in a good mood, which was rare. I didn’t want to ruin his mood. After all, that would be easier for me when talking about business with him.
