Demon King's Engagement

" Whaaaat!" Wendy's scream almost shattered the windows. She was so shock that she almost thought it was a all a dream. She didn't expect him to propose, and she never had a boyfriend before so she doesn't know how to respond. She remember her parents saying that she must never trust strangers so she shook her head in disagreement. Philip's smile cramped upon receiving a cold rejection.

It was bad enough that he's proposing to a human but what's worse is that she rejected him. " Listen up, you accept the engagement because it's already decided by fate" he said in a serious tone. " What do you mean fate? We just met" Wendy could not contain her questions. She knew that she was talking to a demon lord and maybe he's just tricking her. It's common knowledge for everyone especially those that love fantasy that demons are evil, and the one who proposed to her is not just any demon, it was the king of demons.

" Only my destined partner could break my seal, and your the one that broke it." he said in a serious tone. Wendy regretted her decision and sighed. She was surprised when Philip suddenly inserted the ring in her finger, which made her face red. She tried to take it out but it was impossible. " The only was you can take that off is if you fall in love with me" he added. Wendy thought " This is one shameless demon lord."

She tried to call him out but he just ignored her. He was busy doing something on the floor, and even Wendy's loudest shout can't distract him. After a few minutes he finally stood up and stared at Wendy. " What?" she asked in a cold tone.

Philip just ignored her question and stepped closer. Wendy who was flustered, stepped backwards little by little until, she was trapped at the room's corner. He leaned his forehead against her and his breathing became deeper. Wendy's face became red as a tomato and she almost lost consciousness. " I need your blood" Philip said with a magnetic voice. She returned to her senses upon hearing the man's voice. " This bastard demon king!" she screamed internally. She thought he was gonna kiss her for sure.

She pushed him back and said " Why me? Don't you have blood?"

" My powers are still regenerating, so my blood won't be enough. Only demon royalty's blood are needed." he replied with an indifferent tone.

" What do you mean royalty? I'm no royalty. I'm not even a demon." she said while hiding the fact that she afraid of pain.

" The moment I put that engagement ring in you hand means that starting today, you are my wife and a member of the demon royalty" he said in an indifferent and calm tone which triggered Wendy. She could not believe that she's become demon royalty. She cursed herself once more for touching the stone.

She tried to escape but Philip grabbed her hand. She tried to break free but his grip is tight yet it doesn't hurt. He gave a sigh and took a knife.

Upon seeing the knife, Wendy's face became pale. She knew that she was about to get hurt so she almost lost consciousness. Before she could close her eyes, a black mist covered her body and he consciousness slowly returned.

She could no see anything in the mist but he could hear Philip's voice saying " It's alright, I won't hurt you." She doesn't know why but, the voice seemed sincere.

The mist slowly disappeared and she slowly nodded her head in agreement. Philip princess carried her and took her behind the stone where he has been working all this time. In there, she found a magic circle made out of blood with a small portion missing. " I need your blood for this" Philip said while looking at her with serious eyes. She knew she could not do anything to resist so she just closed her eyes and nodded.

Philip pulled out the knifes from his side and stabbed Wendy's chest. Wendy who felt a pinch in her chest slowly opened her eyes and saw a knife stuck to her chest. Her face became pale as she started to scream. Philip did not mind the girl's scream and continued drawing the magic circle using her blood.

After a few minutes, Philip finished the magic circle and looked at Wendy who was pouting at his side with a knife on her chest. He sighed and said, " Your a demon so you'll only experience pain at the start of the damage and it'll heal right away. As for the wound, it will regenerate immediately after I pull out the knife."
